Abstract

The research carried out aims to develop teaching materials that are sontextual local wisdom in order to attract student in learning. The teaching materials that will be developed in this research are e-LKPD based on drying salted fish on temperatured and heat materials. The research method used in this research in the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE development model has five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and evaluation. The research steps are carried out in accordanse with the ADDIE satges. The results of the research conducted, namely at the analysis stage, it was found that the lack of use of alternative teaching materials such as e-LKPD made student less interested during the learning process. Teaching materials that contain observation activities are meeded to improve psychomotor skills in students so that in this study the e-LKPD was developed by containing a simple experiment on drying salted fish. Preparation or writing of e-LKPD materials using the 3d pageflip application. This applicatin has the adavantage of complete features that make the 3d effect look real. This 3d pageflip appication requires a number of computer devices to use and the installation process is quite long. The constraints of this research are that the computer equipment owned by the researcher does not support the isntallation of the 3d pagefip application, the limited time of the study, and the limitation of the researcher in usng the 3d pageflip applicatin so that the research is only carried out until the sdesign stage.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country so there are still many agricultural environments. One of the implementations of the agricultural sector in education, it’s can be applied to vocational high schools agriculture major. Students learning activities in this major can be integrated with their practical activities in the agricultural sphere, because learning physics will be more attractive to students if the learning activities in the classroom also linked with students daily experience and environment. Within the scope of agriculture, agricultural tools are closely related to the concept of physics, one of which is the hoe. So the purpose of this research is to describe the physics concepts analysis on the use of hoe by farmers, then designed a draft of physics learning materials. This research is descriptive qualitative research using content analysis method to obtain the results that in the use of hoe there are several physics concepts about mechanics including the concept of force, rotational dynamics, work and energy. Then processed into a draft of physics learning materials for students of vocational high school class X in agribusiness and agrotechnology major, by adjusting the relevant basic competencies, namely KD 3.4 on work and energy, and KD 3.6 on rotational dynamics.

Abstract

Abstract: The knowledge has always starts with asking. For teachers, asking questions is seen as an activity to encourage, guide, and assess students' thinking abilities. For students, asking questions is an important part of exploring information, informing what is known, and directing what is not yet known. The aim of this research is to determine the quantity and quality of students' asking ability based on revised Bloom's taxonomy by applying the problem based learning model to the material temperature and heat. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Jember with research respondents being all students of class VII F of the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Data collection using observation sheets to ask students. Based on the data obtained, it shown that the quantity of students who ask questions is 37.63%. The quality of questions in this research is 100% in the low level but there are no questions classified as high level. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the asking ability of students of class VII F in SMP Negeri 2 Jember are relatively low and need to be improved. Keywords: question skills, problem-based learning, natural science.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make simulation with Matlab application to calculate the binding energy and disintegration energy of Actinium series based of liquid drop model approach. This research is experimental description. The steps: 1) prepare literature studies of elements in the radioactive process; 2) reviewing some literatures; 3) do calculation simulation; 4) analyze and discuss the results of calculations; 5) conclude the research results. The calculation results show that the binding energy value of the Actinium Series based of liquid drop model approach is in accordance with the theory where the binding energy is directly proportional to the mass and the number of particles, so that the binding energy decreases in linear graph. The largest binding energy owned by 92U235 element is 1786,751 MeV. While the smallest binding energy owned by the 81Tl20 element is 1616,311 MeV. The disintegration energy found in the radioactive actinium series has a positive value, so this is in accordance with the conditions for the occurrence of decay, which is Q> 0. The largest disintegration energy produced from alpha decay by element 91Pa231 is 4.9335 MeV and the smallest binding energy generated from beta decay by the element 90Th231 is 0,0018 MeV. Key Word: Disintegration Energy, Binding Energy, Liquid Drop Model Approach.

Abstract

Abstract Teaching materials are systematically arranged materials or materials that teachers and students use in teaching and learning activities. The teaching material that will be developed by the researcher is comic, this is because students are more interested in teaching materials such as comics. The use of Smarthphone on learning is still not applied to students of MA Al-Misri Rambipuji, this allows researchers to develop physics-based comics teaching materials Android. The Android-based comics have the advantage of attracting students learning, easy to operate, efficient because they do not need paper to print, and are easily carried everywhere. The development of this Android-based physics comic is done on the temperature and heat material because this material is quite difficult to learn because it is abstract that can create different thoughts for the students. The aim of the study was to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the material of Android-based comic physics on learning. This type of research is development research using NIEVEEN development model which includes, 1), preliminary research, 2) prototyping stage, 3) assessment stage. User validation is done by physics teacher in MA Al-Misri Rambipuji with an average score of 3.64 with a very valid category. The implementation was done by observation by two observer who showed during two meetings had an average score of 3.62 < score ≤ 4.00 meaning that learning can be carried out very well. The average pretests and postest field test in class XI IPA 2 is 24.74 and 64.74 with N-Gain value of 0.54. The analysis of the pretests and Postest values shows moderate criteria which means that Android-based physics comic-teaching materials are included in effective products to improve student learning outcomes. Key word: Comic, Android, Physics
