Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perceptions, financial rewards, and motivation on interest in a career in the field of taxation either partially or simultaneously. This research was conducted at the Accounting Study Program in Semarang City. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The total population is 7,162 students and 99 students are taken as research samples. The results of this study indicate that perceptions and financial rewards influence career interest in taxation. Motivation does not affect career choices in taxation. Perceptions, financial rewards, and motivation simultaneously influence career choices in the field of taxation.

Abstract

This study examines the teacher's morphological awareness in teaching English, specifically focusing on the past-tense verb forms. The analysis is based on a YouTube instructional video titled "Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Kelas 8 SMP: Simple Past Tense," the objective is to identify the application of morphological theories in teaching method employed. The research questions based on three primary aspects: The morphological awareness indicators evident in the teaching techniques used by the teacher in the video; The extent to which the teacher uses morphemes to teach past tense; The ways used by the teacher to demonstrate the application of theories and strategies of teaching past tense verbs in the instructional video. The results indicate that the teacher demonstrates a strong understanding of morphological awareness, clearly explaining verb changes, and applying interactive educational techniques. The study highlights the significance of morphological awareness in language instruction and proposes that digital platforms such as YouTube might improve the teaching and learning process. The research provides useful insights into the implementation of morphological awareness in classroom settings and offers recommendations for additional research and practice. Despite its emphasis on a single YouTube video, this study not only improves comprehension of morphological awareness in digital contexts, but it also offers practical solutions for educators to improve grammar teaching effectiveness. Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers' and students' perceptions of Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar in English language subjects in secondary schools. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study used questionnaires and interviews as data collection instruments. This study reveals English teachers' and students' perceptions of the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar belajar at secondary schools including the concept of Kurikulum Merdeka belajar project-based learning, teaching modules, and assessment, as well as how students perceive the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. The research findings showed positive and negative perceptions of both teachers and students. The positive value for a teacher is that they are free to provide material to students relevant to their respective needs while the negative value is the lack of school facilities that hamper the creativity of teachers in making teaching materials. The positive value for students is that they are more free to express their opinions and be creative according to their respective talents through p5 activities, while the negative value is their challenge in adjusting each new subject listed in Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh variabel Disiplin Kerja (X1) dan Motivasi Kerja (X2) terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y) pada Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kabupaten Purbalingga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai BKPSDM Kabupaten Purbalingga, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 42 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 22.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Disiplin Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Selain itu, variabel Disiplin Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dapat dilihat dari nilai F hitung sebesar 81,158 sedangkan nilai F tabel sebesar 3,230. Karena F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel yaitu 81,158 > 3,230, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel dependen Kinerja Karyawan (Y) dapat dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh variabel independen Disiplin Kerja (X1) dan Motivasi Kerja (X2). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R-Square) sebesar 0,806. Hal ini berarti 80,6% variabel Kinerja Karyawan akan dipengaruhi oleh variabel bebas yaitu Disiplin Kerja (X1) dan Motivasi Kerja (X2). Sebesar 19,4% variabel Kinerja Karyawan akan dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

YouTube is a popular platform for sharing educational videos, including those that assist language learners. This Classroom Action Research study was conducted at Universitas Harapan Bangsa, Central Java, to evaluate the effectiveness of YouTube videos in enhancing students' literal and inferential listening comprehension skills at Language Development Center program. The population for this study consists of first-semester students from the D4 Anesthesiology Nursing Program in the Faculty of Health. The research aimed to determine (1) the impact of YouTube on listening skills and (2) the challenges encountered in its implementation. Conducted over two cycles, the study utilized observations, journals, and questionnaires for data collection, analyzing both qualitative and quantitative results. Findings revealed that YouTube videos significantly improve students' listening skills, create a positive classroom atmosphere, and boost motivation for out-of-class practice, particularly through exposure to diverse English accents. Additionally, the integration of multimedia resources supports differentiated learning, catering to various student needs and learning styles. However, challenges such as unstable internet connections and students' preferences for familiar accents were identified. Overall, YouTube videos are effective tools for teaching listening skills and offer great potential for enhancing other aspects of language learning, warranting further exploration in educational research.Keywords: YouTube Videos, Listening Comprehension, Literal Listening Skills, Inferential Listening Skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial literacy, AI advancement, lifestyle, and parental support on the financial independence of Generation Z at AL-Irsyad Cilacap University. Using a quantitative approach with a sample of 150 students, data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that simultaneously, all four variables significantly affect financial independence with a determination coefficient of 65.9%. Partially, entrepreneurial literacy emerged as the most dominant factor (β=0.287; sig=0.000), followed by AI advancement (β=0.234; sig=0.001), parental support (β=0.223; sig=0.001), and lifestyle (β=0.187; sig=0.004). These findings suggest that enhancing entrepreneurial competencies, optimizing AI technology, strengthening family support, and controlling lifestyle are crucial pillars in building financial independence among Gen Z. This study recommends the need for integrated programs that combine entrepreneurship education, digital literacy, and family-based approaches to optimize the financial potential of Indonesia's younger generation.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital secara besar-besaran mengubah cara kerja komunikasi pemasaran modern. Interaksi pemasaran yang sebelumnya hanya satu arah kini berkembang menjadi proses dua arah yang bekerja sama., di mana pengguna memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan nilai. Dalam konteks ekonomi perhatian, fenomena yang muncul adalah banjir informasi di berbagai platform digital dengan kemampuan merek untuk menarik dan mempertahankan perhatian audiens menjadi tantangan strategis yang semakin rumit. Artikel ini menghadirkan Model Triple-V Engagement sebagai kontribusi konseptual baru, yang mencakup konten singkat, daya tarik visual, serta elemen interaktivitas yang dapat menciptakan keterlibatan digital yang lebih dalam dan berkelanjutan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah konseptual-teoretis dengan menyintesis literatur terkini mengenai perilaku konsumen digital, ekonomi perhatian, dan teori keterlibatan pengguna dengan sintesis yang menyeluruh terhadap literatur tentang perilaku konsumen digital, teori ekonomi perhatian, serta teori keterlibatan pengguna. Model Triple-V menjelaskan bahwa keterlibatan digital terbentuk melalui tiga proses utama: Proses kognitif yang terpicu oleh informasi yang padat dan durasi konten yang singkat, Proses afektif yang muncul karena pengaruh visual yang kuat dan menarik secara estetika, dan proses perilaku yang didorong oleh fitur interaktif yang mendorong partisipasi aktif pengguna. Ketiga elemen tersebut berinteraksi secara sinergis membentuk siklus keterlibatan yang berkelanjutan yang mendorong pengguna berubah dari tidak aktif partisipan menjadi partisipan yang aktif terlibat dalam proses menciptakan nilai merek bersama. Teori alternatif yang menjadi dasar baru ciri khas dari format konten mempengaruhi tingkat kualitas dan kekuatan keterlibatan secara digital. Dampak nyata bagi pemasar, kreator konten, serta pelaku industri digital mechanisme algoritma yang digunakan oleh platform digital. Temuan ini juga memberikan kejelasan pesan, tampilan visual yang menarik, dan fitur yang bisa diakses secara interaktif dalam membangun hubungan yang berarti antara merek dan audiens. Abstract

Era digital telah mentransformasi paradigma pemasaran konvensional, di mana kepuasan dan kepercayaan konsumen emerged sebagai faktor penentu kesuksesan strategi pemasaran digital. Penelitian ini menganalisis kontribusi kepuasan dan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap keberhasilan strategi pemasaran media sosial melalui metode systematic literature review terhadap publikasi ilmiah periode 2020-2024. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kepuasan konsumen yang terbentuk melalui pengalaman interaktif, kualitas konten, dan layanan responsif menjadi pondasi utama dalam membangun kepercayaan. Selanjutnya, kepercayaan konsumen berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang memperkuat dampak strategi pemasaran melalui peningkatan engagement, loyalitas, dan intensi pembelian berulang. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi pemasaran media sosial yang optimal tidak hanya berorientasi pada promosi, namun perlu berfokus pada penciptaan pengalaman bermakna dan pembangunan kepercayaan berkelanjutan. Implikasi praktisnya menekankan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas interaksi digital, konsistensi nilai merek, dan transparansi informasi bagi pelaku bisnis.

Abstract

This study examines the status of artificial intelligence (AI) as an inventor within patent law systems and compares the regulation of patent ownership for AI-based inventions in the context of employee invention between Indonesia and the United States. The advancement of AI technology has enabled the creation of significant inventions without direct human intellectual input, raising legal issues regarding the recognition of inventors and ownership rights. This research employs a normative juridical method with statutory and comparative approaches to analyze two distinct legal systems: Indonesia’s civil law and the United States’ common law. Data were collected through literature review of relevant regulations, court decisions, and academic works on intellectual property and technology law. The findings reveal that both countries do not recognize AI as a legal inventor, but they adopt different approaches to ownership regulation. Indonesia provides explicit legal norms in Articles 12 and 15 of Law Number 13 of 2016 on Patents, while the United States relies on contractual agreements between parties. The novelty of this study lies in its integration of AI inventorship issues within the employee invention context, a topic that remains underexplored in existing scholarship. Therefore, regulatory reform is needed to address technological developments, alongside the formulation of clearer employment agreements to ensure legal certainty for all stakeholders.

Abstract

The development of information technology in healthcare systems has encouraged the digitalization of medical records, raising new legal issues concerning the protection of patients’ personal data. This study aims to analyze the legal responsibility of hospitals in securing electronic medical records and to evaluate whether existing Indonesian regulations provide adequate legal protection. This is a normative legal research using statutory and conceptual approaches, based on primary and secondary legal materials. The results show that hospitals hold clear legal responsibility to protect patient data security, as mandated by Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health, Law Number 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, and other related regulations. The legal responsibility includes civil, criminal, and administrative aspects. Although a legal framework is in place, its implementation remains insufficient due to the lack of comprehensive sector-specific technical regulations. Therefore, operational derivative regulations, improved hospital information security systems, and stronger government oversight and public participation are necessary to ensure the effective protection of patients' privacy rights in the digital era.
