Abstract

This study aims to describe traditional games as a source of character values ​​for children in Simokerto Village, Surabaya. The focus of this study describes the mechanism of the Kampoeng Dolanan community in instilling character values ​​through traditional games of tug of war, stilts, and holahop in children and the integrated character values ​​in them. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study design, the subjects in this study are the head of the Kampoeng Dolanan community, members of the youth organization, children involved in traditional games in Simokerto Surabaya village and parents of children playing traditional games in Simokerto Surabaya village. The research location is in RT. 04 RW. 02 Simokerto Village, Surabaya City. Data collection techniques using interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using the model from Miles and Huberman through four stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions by juxtaposing the perspective of Ki Hajar Dewantara's 3N theory. The results show that the Kampoeng Dolanan community mechanism in instilling character values ​​through traditional games in children has three stages, namely introducing, playing, and preserving. The integrated character values ​​in the traditional tug of war game are courage, strength, cooperation and trust, the integrated character values ​​in the stilt game are courage, concern and cooperation, the integrated character values ​​in the holahop game are dexterity, balance, and hard work. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze in depth the role of the mental health post in improving the quality of life of people with mental disorders in order to achieve human values ​​in the village of Pertapan Maduretno and the obstacles that occur. In this study, Biddle and Thomas' role theory was used. This type of research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research design. Data collection techniques in this study used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, as well as research informants selected by purposive sampling method were mental health midwives and mental health cadres. The focus of this research is to analyze the role and inhibiting factors of the mental health post in carrying out its role. The results of this study explain that the role of mental health services in increasing human values ​​can be seen in socialization and public education regarding people with mental disorders, the implementation of treatment for patients with direct methods, home visit treatment services, and the provision of creativity services as a therapeutic medium to patients. The inhibiting factors for the role of the mental health post in increasing human values ​​come from the family's mindset in refusing, the anxiety of the patient, and the termination of activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

Education can be obtained anywhere and anytime and with anyone. Both in the school environment (formal), the family environment (informal) and in the community (non-formal). One form of non-formal education is Gemmar (Maghrib Community Movement) Koran as an effort by the government to shape personality and prevent moral decay. However, these activities did not run optimally in the Kenjeran sub-district of the city of Surabaya. Through Ngaji Warung Kopi, the youths modify the meaning of “Ngaji” into a form of non-formal education that is more comfortable and enjoyable as an activity that is sought to strengthen the character education of youth social care. This study aims to find out how the Koran coffee shop activity can be an effort to strengthen character education for social awareness of youth in Kenjeran sub-district, Surabaya. The theory used in this study is the symbolic interactionism of Robert Herbert Mead and Herbert Blumer, who explain that Social Interaction creates a meaning and develops a self-concept that gives an individual's motive for behavior. This research was conducted at the Bintang Sembilan Coffee Shop, Kenjeran district, Surabaya. There were four informants in this study who were selected by purposive sampling. The focus of this research is the initiation to the implementation of the Koran coffee shop activity. Data were collected through interactive observation and in-depth interviews. The results of strengthening youth character education are shown through the behavior of various likes to orphans and orphans such as food, drinks to monthly pocket money whose behavioral motives are generated by self-concept which is developed through interactions that occur in coffee shop Koran activities which are the result of modifications to the meaning of "recite the Koran". ” which is more adapted to the habits of youth in the Kenjeran sub-district, Surabaya. Abstract

This study aims to find out what strategies are used by Pancasila and Citizenship Education Teachers at Senior High School 1 Sidoarjo in preventing the phenomenon of cyberbullying. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The informants were two teachers of Pancasila and Citizenship Education from Senior High School 1 Sidoarjo. This study uses the structuration theory of Anthony Giddens which stated that globalization has changed most of the ways of human life which of course has certain consequences. Consequences faced by Indonesia today include the moral degradation of student as a result of advances in information and communication technology, one of which the phenomenon of cyberbullying. The data analysis techniques used is an interactive model from Miles and Huberman based on mapping or description of the data. The results of this study indicate that Pancasila and Citizenship Education Teachers at Senior High School 1 Sidoarjo are already aware of cyberbullying phenomenon and have collaborated with various parties to prevent cyberbullying in Senior High School 1 Sidoarjo students. This team will also receive special guidance from Pancasila and Citizenship Education Teachers. The motive that the informant wanted to addres in the process of preventing cyberbullying was to make students of Senior High School 1 Sidoarjo wiser in using the internet, considering that Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects were very important in the formation of nation and character building which would later form capable citizens think critically but also act responsible. Abstract

AbstractTeachers must be able to create a learning environment that can foster character-building attitudes. When implementing online learning, teachers must be creative in utilizing strategies on how to best carry out teacher duties in character building during the pandemic. The most basic character education instilled from an early age, especially in school, is the 5S culture (Greetings, Smiles, Greetings, Politeness, Courtesy). This study aims to describe 1) The formation of character and moral education values through the 5S program (Smile Sapa Salam Courtesy). At SMK Negeri 1 Trenggalek During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The research informants were the Principal, PPKn teachers, Counseling Guidance teachers and parent. Data collection techniques used participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) The implementation of character education through 5S culture (smiles, greetings, greetings, courtesy and manners) during the pandemic was by including character education in the school's vision and mission; include the 5S culture (smile, greet, greet, be polite and courteous) in the spontaneous habituation program; and include 5S activities (smiles, greetings, greetings, courtesy and manners) in the lesson plan. 2) The supporting factor of the 5S program is the existence of teacher resources, the environment and parents of students who support the implementation of the 5S program. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategies used by caregivers to develop children's leadership spirit and to describe the impacts, constraints, and solutions that occur in developing children's leadership qualities in orphanages. The focus of this research is the caregiver's strategy in developing the spirit of leadership through habituation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The informants in the study were four people, namely the caregivers of the orphanage with the criteria of caregivers who were used as informants, namely caregivers in the care section, foster siblings and talents and interests. Data collection techniques used observation and unstructured in-depth interviews. While the data validity technique uses data triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the caregivers of the NU Darul Muhsinin Ponorogo Orphanage have provided habits as a stimulus for children in developing leadership spirit. Habituation is expected to shape the character of children who have a leadership spirit, are responsible, disciplined, independent, work hard and be creative. Equipping with religious knowledge as an effort to form the foundation of leadership character based on religious values ​​and imitating Islamic leaders. Provide habituation of responsibility and discipline to children by obeying the rules and obligations of children, and not violating the agreed rules. While the habit of discussing trains children to be able to respect the opinions of others and train to communicate. Forming a winning mentality with children participating in competition activities. Abstract

Public service is one form of the State's efforts to fulfill the basic needs of every citizen. So that the effectiveness of a government system plays an important role in measuring the success of a service. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy adopted by the village government in realizing the principle of effectiveness in the service of making Electronic Identity Cards (e-KTP) in Sukodono Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency. In order to achieve this goal, this research uses a qualitative research type with descriptive method. The data collection technique was through observation and interviews with the Sukodono Village Head and several village officials as supporting informants. The results obtained in the study show several strategies carried out by the village government to realize the principle of effectiveness in the service of making e-KTP in Sukodono Village such as strengthening the vision and mission, providing incentives to the apparatus, increasing accountability, determining organizational structure, and changing the performance of the apparatus. . This strategy is considered effective as an effort of the Sukodono village government in realizing the principle of effectiveness, especially in the service of making e-KTP in Sukodono Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency. Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies used by PPKn teachers in strengthening the character of discipline and the obstacles faced along with the solutions offered to strengthen the character of discipline in class X students of MAN 2 Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. This study uses the theory of Character Education proposed by Thomas Lickona. The informants of this study were two people selected using purposive sampling technique, namely two PPKn teachers. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are several strategies carried out by Civics teachers in strengthening the discipline character of class X students in planning, namely the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). In the implementation of strengthening the character of discipline according to the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), which was previously designed. These include preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. In addition, teachers make learning contracts in learning, habituation of teachers by giving good examples, students can behave politely, be disciplined and dress neatly, and give rewards to students in the form of grades or points and words of praise. Constraints experienced by Civics teachers in strengthening the character of discipline are the lack of self-awareness of students and the influence of the unfavorable community environment. The solution to overcome the obstacles to strengthening the character of discipline is to provide advice and provide punishment in the form of memorizing short chapters of chapter 30 and Pancasila.

Abstract

Religious values ​​are very important for students as the next generation of the nation as a sign of good behavior in accordance with religious law in facing the challenges of global life. This study aims to describe school strategies and obstacles in strengthening the religious values ​​of students during the Covid-19 pandemic at Al-Islam Krian High School. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants of this research were the Principal, PAI Teacher, PPKn Teacher, and BK Teacher who were determined based on purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the school's strategy in strengthening the religious values ​​of students was carried out by habituation of order, habituation of religious activities, extracurricular activities, giving religious knowledge and good behavior, and providing real examples or examples. The obstacles experienced by schools are the neglect of students' parents, the uncontrolled use of students' social media by the school, and the nature of the students themselves. This study was analyzed using Ivan Pavlov's theory of behaviorism, namely the habituation of activities carried out repeatedly and accompanied by reinforcement by the school will be able to produce the behavior of students who have religious values ​​in relation to God and fellow human beings. Abstract

This study explains the real action of anti-mining groups by strengthening Ecological Citizenship, in dealing with environmental damage and handling it by anti-mining groups. The purpose of this study is to describe the strengthening of the Ecological Citizenship of the anti-sand mining group from the Community Care Communication Forum of Selok Village. The research location was conducted in Selok Awar-Awar Village, Pasirian Lumajang District, with the research method being a qualitative approach and the case study design referring to the opinion of Robert K. Yin (2003). This research focuses on the impact of illegal sand mining, the real action of anti-mining groups in strengthening the Ecological Citizenship movement, and the growing public awareness of Ecological Citizenship. Data collection techniques applied through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The theory used is from Antony Gidens, where the agent is the antimining group, the structure is the community. The results of this study indicate that the role of anti-mining groups, as well as policy support from the local government and concrete actions of anti-mining groups in fighting for the rights to the environment of the community in Selok Awar-Awar village produces duality as evidenced by good cooperation between agents and structures so that mines can be closed, such as through strengthening Ecological Citizenship activities by making (1) Clean, Beautiful, Healthy and Safe (BISA) Movement, (2) Disseminating information to the public to stop sand mining xiii activities completely using a humanitarian approach, (3) Conducting Environmental Education and Campaigns together with the community at the Balai, (4) Conduct studies and determine targets and targets where the damage is the worst and how to deal with it, (5) Plant 6000 mangrove tree seedlings and 1000 sea cypress seeds on the Watu Pecak coast and the southern coast of Lumajang, (6) Conduct mine closures and legal advocacy to Tosan, Salim Kancil.
