Abstract

This research discusses the importance of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals relating to eradicating poverty, which is the 1st SDGs goal, and decent work and economic growth, which are the 8th of the 17 SDGs goals. The purpose of this research is to provide advice to companies to contribute to eradicating poverty and decent work and economic growth by creating jobs that will benefit companies, society, and the government in general. This study uses a descriptive analysis approach by means of a literature review at PT NSI engaged in retail. The results of the study show that PT NSI has not maximized the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals related to goals 1 and 8. The lack of training to improve human resources and the large number of employees who are still below the poverty line at PT NSI are one of the problems. The limitation of this research is the lack of financial data so that it cannot be proven statistically. The implication of this research is that PT NSI s contribution to achieving the SDGs goals will make the company recognized by the state and accepted by the community.

Abstract

It must be admitted that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia are very supportive of the economy. MSMEs are the most important pillars in the Indonesian economy. MSMEs are able to absorb a large number of workers. Manpower as a human resource is the most important element that drives the wheels of business. Quality human resources are needed to win business competition. This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and organizational commitment on the employee performance of MSMEs Nurul Aqiqah and Catering Palembang, South Sumatra. The entire population in the study was sampled, namely all 40 employees, the sample was taken by the census method (saturated sample). The research instrument scale uses a Likert scale. The source of data in this study is primary data collected using a questionnaire. To analyze the data used SPSS version 26 application. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of competence and organizational commitment simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, the variables of competence and organizational commitment have a significant effect on employee performance. In conclusion, employee competence and organizational commitment are determinants of employee performance and automatically affect company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence consumers' online purchasing decisions at Lazada, namely perceived convenience, perceived benefits, and trust in online purchasing decisions at Lazada. The analytical method used in this research is structural equation modeling using the Smart PLS 2.0 program. This study used 165 respondents as the research sample. The independent variables consist of Perceived Convenience (X1), Perceived Benefits (X2), and Trust (X3), while the dependent variable is Online Purchase Decision (Y). The results of this study indicate that Perceived Convenience, Perceived Benefits, and Trust have a significant influence on Online Purchase Decisions of Lazada consumers in the city of Padang. Abstract

Studi literatur review ini dilatarbelakangi adanya perubahan konteks saat ini terkait perubahan persepsi individu akan restrukturisasi, pensiun dini, PHK, dan perkembangan pengetahuan individu terhadap karir yang kemudian memunculkan pandangan baru terhadap karir, yaitu orientasi karir protean. Literatur ini ditujukan untuk memahami konsep, anteseden, konsekuen, dan riset lanjutan terkait Protean Career Orientation (PCO), yaitu sikap seseorang terhadap karirnya dimana ia menjadi agen yang bertanggung jawab terhadap karirnya sendiri, tidak dikelola oleh organisasi (self-directed) dan memiliki nilai-nilai intrinsik (value driven) berupa kebebasan dan tumbuh. Berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka yang dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa paradoks protean terkait komitmen, komitmen profesional, dan penggunaan teori determinasi diri untuk mendukung konsep orientasi karir protean masih butuh untuk diteliti.

Abstract

One of the main factors that cause panic buying is a crisis situation. The global Covid-19 outbreak has prompted consumers to panic buying. Especially experienced by consumers of retail stores in the city of Padang (West Sumatra-Indonesia). This phenomenon prompted researchers to examine the effect of perceptions of product scarcity, emotions, and social media consumption on panic buying in the city of Padang. Total of 125 samples were obtained through an online survey questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model with the SmartPLS statistical tool. The results of the study show that emotions and social media information have a positive and significant influence on panic buying. However, the perception of scarcity has no significant effect on panic buying. The results of the study are then discussed and have implications for the development of theory and practice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial management practices, financial planning, financial stress, and asset ownership on the financial well-being of retired families in Padang City. The object of this study were 200 respondents, namely people in the city of Padang who have entered retirement age or the age of 56 years. The sampling technique is nonprobability sampling with criteria or characteristics of the same age as 56 years, entering retirement, domicile in the city of Padang. The method used is multiple linear regression. The data were processed using SPSS version 16. The results showed that financial management practices and financial planning had a positive effect on financial well-being, financial stress had a negative effect on financial well-being, while asset ownership had no effect on financial well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of the financial performance of liquidity, solvency, activity and profitability before and after being designated as an initial public offering. This research is classified as quantitative research. The object in this research is PT. Bukalapak Tbk. The type of data used in this research is secondary data. The analytical method used is comparative analysis. To test the hypothesis using the paired sample t-test and the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study conclude (1) There is no significant difference in financial performance in terms of liquidity indicators before and after being designated as an initial public offering. (2) There is no significant difference in financial performance seen from the solvency indicators before and after being determined as an initial public offering. (3) There is no significant difference in financial performance seen from the activity indicators before and after being determined as an initial public offering. (4) There is a significant difference in financial performance seen from the profitability indicators before and after being determined as an initial public offering.

Abstract

QRIS is an aggregation of QR codes from several types of Penyelenggara Jasa Sistem Pembayaran (PJSP) using only one QR code (Bank Indonesia, 2020). QRIS is here to facilitate cashless payment transactions. But unfortunately, in using QRIS there are MDR and Settlement costs that are charged to UMKM so that it has the potential to reduce UMKM income. This study aims to test and analyze how the influence of the use of QRIS through the PJSP DANA application by UMKM has on business income in Kraksaan District. The method used is quantitative with simple linear regression analysis, partial test (t test), and test the coefficient of determination (R2 test). Data collection through questionnaires, observation, and literature study. Questionnaires were distributed to 50 UMKM that had used QRIS through PJSP DANA according to the data recorded on the DANA Application. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the use of QRIS through the provider of the DANA application payment system service has a positive effect on business income in Kraksaan District.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of price on purchasing decisions (2) the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions (3) the effect of price and product quality together on purchasing decisions of Caffe Kenalin, Karawang Coffee. The subjects of this study consisted of 60 customers of Caffe Kenalin's Coffee. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Test the validity of the instrument items using Product Moment correlation and reliability testing using Alpha Cronbach. Analysis prerequisite test consists of normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. Data analysis in order to answer research questions consisted of simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Brand Awareness, Brand Association, and Lifestyle in the iPhone Purchase Decision Process in Padang City. The data analysis method used is Validity Test, Reliability Test, Multiple Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Test consists of Partial Test (t Statistical Test), Simultaneous Test (F Statistical Test), and Determination Coefficient Test (R2). The work was carried out using SPSS 17. The data used are primary data and secondary data. This study used a sample of 100 research respondents. The results of this study indicate that data analysis using the multiple linear regression analysis method shows that Brand Association and Lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on consumers' decision to buy an iPhone, while Brand Awareness has a positive but not significant effect on the consumer's decision process in buying an iPhone. Based on the t-test that the three most dominant variables influencing the decision process to purchase the hijab are Lifestyle (X3) with a t value of 0.532. Adjusted analysis of the coefficient of determination obtained an R2 value of 39.7%, which means that the dependent variable, namely the purchase decision process, can be explained by the independent variables, namely Brand Awareness, Brand Association and Lifestyle and the remaining 60.3% is not influenced by other variables. included in this research.
