Abstract

The implementation of the elderly posyandu program in Gampong Lancok Pante Ara is still not going well. This is due to the lack of participation of the elderly to participate in the posyandu program for the elderly which is held once a month. There are 81 pre-elderly and elderly people in Lancok Pante Ara village. Of the number of pre- elderly and elderly people who participated in the elderly posyandu program, only 18 people participated. This is due to the lack of awareness of the importance of health for the elderly and the lack of assistance from the elderly family. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection methods include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the posyandu program for the elderly in Gampong Lancok Pante Ara had been carried out according to the SOP, there were three programs carried out, namely the health service program, provision of additional food (PMT) and home visits for the elderly resti. The conclusion in this study is that the implementation of the posyandu program in Gampong Lancok Pante Ara has been carried out by the implementers although it has not been effective due to several factors that hinder the implementation of this posyandu program.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain empirical evidence of transformational leadership abilities and motivation in encouraging improvements in teacher performance, both directly and through the mediation of job satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative with the SEM-SmartPLS method. Data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to 82 teachers of SMAN 1 Kejayan and SMAN 1 Lumbang, Pasuruan Regency. The sample is determined by census or saturated sample. Empirical evidence shows that both transformational leadership and motivation are able to encourage increased teacher performance, both directly and through the mediation of job satisfaction. Job satisfaction can act as a strong mediator

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of leadership style and integrity to encourage increased OCB, both directly and through the mediation of organizational commitment. Type of research is quantitative with the SEM-SmartPLS method. Data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to 55 nurses at Ar Rozy Regional Hospital, Probolinggo City. The sample is determined by census or saturated sample. Empirical evidence shows that both leadership style and integrity are able to encourage increased OCB and organizational commitment. It's just that the role of organizational commitment is weak in mediating the influence of leadership style on OCB. However, organizational commitment is able to play a strong role in mediating the influence of integrity on nurses' OCB at Ar Rozy Regional Hospital, Probolinggo City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimankah hak asuh anak di bawah umur yang diberikan kepada ayah setelah perceraian orang tua dengan melihat pula pada dasar pertimbangan hakim pada Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Makassar Nomor: 44/Pdt.G/2023/PN.MKS dalam memutus hak asuh anak di bawah umur diberikan kepada ayah setelah perceraian orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif, yaitu penelitian dilakukan dengan cara meneliti data sekunder atau bahan pustaka berupa peraturan perundang-undangan, buku-buku, hasil penelitian, dan data sekunder lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah hak asuh anak yang masih di bawah umur secara normatif merupakan hak dari ibunya, namun ketentuan tersebut bersifat tidak mutlak karena terdapat pengecualian bahwa apabila ibu tak wajar dalam memelihara anak atau ibu tidak dapat menjamin keselamatan jasmani dan rohani anak maka hak asuh anak di bawah umur dapat diberikan kepada ayahnya. Berdasarkan pada Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Makassar Nomor: 44/Pdt.G/2023/PN.MKS, Majelis Hakim mempertimbangkan penentuan hak asuh anak di bawah umur diberikan kepada ayahnya melihat pada kepentingan terbaik bagi anak ada bersama ayahnya, bahwa selama ini anak tinggal bersama dengan ayahnya dan ayah yang memberikan kasih sayang serta menafkahi seluruh kebutuhan anak, sedangkan ibu telah meninggalkan anak sejak berumur 4 tahun dan setelah perceraian ibu tidak pernah menghubungi dan menemui anaknya. Oleh karena itu, Ayah sangat pantas untuk mendapatkan hak asuh anaknya yang masih di bawah umur agar anak dapat terjamin kepentingan dan kesejahteraannya.

Abstract

Background: This literature review critically examines existing research on Bacopa monnieri, an herb renowned for its cognitive-enhancing properties. Objective: To investigate the impact of Bacopa monnieri on neurological health, with a particular focus on its role in improving cognitive function. Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted across major databases, including PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar, to identify relevant studies published to date. Inclusion criteria consisted of randomised controlled trials, observational studies, and systematic reviews exploring the cognitive effects of Bacopa monnieri on human subjects. Studies that examined different aspects of cognitive function, including attention, memory, and processing speed, were also included. Results: This review included a comprehensive analysis of 5 studies that met the inclusion criteria. The studies collectively revealed a spectrum of cognitive benefits associated with Bacopa monnieri supplementation. Significant improvements were observed in attention and memory-related tasks across different age groups. The neuroprotective, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of Bacopa monnieri, attributed to active compounds such as bacosides, were often implicated in the observed cognitive improvements. Conclusion: Bacopa monnieri is emerging as a promising natural intervention for improving cognitive function, with a growing body of evidence supporting its neuroprotective effects. While methodological variations exist among studies, the overall trend suggests that Bacopa monnieri has the potential to address cognitive decline associated with ageing and other neurological conditions. This review provides a nuanced understanding of the current state of knowledge, emphasising the need for further well-designed trials to elucidate optimal dosage, duration, and potential long-term effects. The findings contribute to the ongoing discourse on natural interventions for cognitive enhancement and provide valuable insights for researchers and healthcare practitioners.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the soaking time for mahogany leaf extract (Swietenia mahagoni) for the treatment of the parasite Argulus sp. on goldfish fry and to analyze how long Argulus sp. will die after soaking with mahogany leaf extract using a dose of 0.8 g/liter of water with a soaking time according to the treatment. This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications with different soaking times for mahogany leaf extract in each treatment, namely: P0 = No soaking (control), P1 = Soaking time 6 hours, P2 = Soaking time 12 hoursand P3 = Soaking time 12 hours. The results of this research showed that the best soaking time was treatment (P3), namely 24 hours, and the lowest was treatment (P0), namely without mahogany leaf extract soaking. The highest percentage of survival was in treatment (P3), namely 100%, and the lowest was in treatment (P0) at 33.33%. The water quality parameters were quite good for the test fish, the results of water qualitymeasurements in this study were temperature 25-28oC, pH 6-9 and dissolved oxygen 7-9.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of utilizing visual media to enhance children's reading abilities. The participants consisted of 11 early childhood learners aged 6-7, comprising 2 girls and 9 boys. Employing the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, specifically the Question and Answer technique, the study conducted two cycles with two sessions in each cycle. The findings indicated a significant improvement in children's reading skills through the use of visual media. Hence, educators are recommended to employ visual aids creatively to enhance children's reading proficiency.

Abstract

Nyeri punggung bawah merupakan gejala yang sangat umum dialami, terutama pada usia produktif. Kasus nyeri punggung bawah mengalami peningkatan sebesar 54% dari tahun 1990 sampai dengan tahun 2015. Hampir sekitar 35,86% dari populasi penduduk Indonesia pernah mengalami nyeri punggung bawah. Akupuntur menjadi salah satu pengobatan non-farmakologi yang umum digunakan saat ini karena efektivitas dan keamanannya. Teknik akupuntur Master Tung memiliki keunikan dibanding teknik akupuntur lainnya, yaitu titik-titik akupuntur yang digunakan menggunakan konsep zona anatomi sehingga bersifat global atau luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek akupuntur terhadap perubahan derajat nyeri pada penderita nyeri punggung bawah dengan memakai titik akupuntur Tung, yaitu GuCiYi, GuCiEr, GuCiSan dan LingGu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, yakni metode Pre-Experimental Design One Group Pretest-postest. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memberikan terapi akupuntur terhadap satu kelompok uji untuk diamati perubahannya pra dan pasca uji. Kelompok eksperimen akan diberikan pretest sebelum eksperimen dan setelahnya akan diberikan posttest untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perubahan derajat nyeri punggung bawah yang dirasakan pasien. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran mengenai efek akupuntur Tung menggunakan titik GuCiYi, GuCiEr, GuCiSan dan LingGu terhadap penurunan derajat nyeri punggung bawah pada pasien.

Abstract

Cocoa is a commodity that is not only of significant economic value but also plays a critical role in the overall economy of Indonesia. Batuah Village is one of the regions in Indonesia that is recognised as a cocoa centre. The purpose of this investigation is to determine whether there is a correlation between the economic development of the Batuah Village community and the development of cocoa production. Multiple linear regression analysis techniques are implemented in the quantitative research methodology. The study's data was collected through firsthand surveys of 10 cocoa farmers in Batuah Village. The results of this investigation suggest that the economic development of the Batuah Village community is substantially affected by cacao production. A positive correlation between cacao production and monthly income, as well as other economic variables, is demonstrated by regression analysis. Furthermore, cocoa prices, market access, and capital access are additional variables that affect economic growth. The expansion of cocoa production not only increases the income of farmers but also generates new employment opportunities and fosters the development of village infrastructure. This promotes economic expansion and enhances the well-being of the community.

Abstract

Wahyu Misbach, Annisa Fitri, “Republic of Indonesia (RRI) Jakarta Radio Communication Strategy in Retaining Listeners” Analysis of the Islamic Mimbar Broadcast Program. Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program. This study aims to find out what communication strategies are used by RRI Pro1 Jakarta in broadcasting the Islamic Religious mimbar program. The research method used is descriptive method through a qualitative approach that takes data by making observations in the production room of RRI Jakarta, interviews and documentation and listening to the program under study. The results showed that RRI Pro1 Jakarta used three interrelated communication strategies in stages, namely the compatibility strategy by following the listener's needs and wants, the conformity-forming strategy by presenting the program at the same time and consistently so that the listeners are familiar with the existing broadcast schedule and the pull strategy. the masses by packaging promotions on various social media in an attractive form.
