Abstract

One type of pollution that is invisible and abstract, namely noise, is a problem for city residents. This research aims (1) to try to prevent and improve noise on Jalan Ahmad A Wahab traffic, namely regulating the types of vehicles that cross Jalan Ahmad A Wahab at peak hours, (2) to plant various types of vegetation that can absorb sound energy. in various house yards near Jalan Ahmad A Wahab. Survey and observation methods are two methods used in research with a quantitative approach which is explained descriptively. There were 120 respondents and seven observation points in different locations. Next, the data was collected using a purposive sampling technique and analyzed using sound intensity levels, ear distance to the sound source and type of vegetation, followed by chi square analysis.

Abstract

Diplomacy through international agreements such as the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) has an important role in international relations and geopolitics. This study aims to analyze the role of diplomacy through GATT in the context of the Pacific War as well as its impact on geopolitical dynamics in the region. Research methods used include literature study and analysis of historical documents to trace GATT's role in defusing trade conflicts between countries involved in the Pacific War. The results of the analysis show that diplomacy through GATT can reduce trade barriers between countries in conflict, thus helping to minimize the impact of the Pacific War on the global economy. The discussion included an explanation of how the role of diplomacy through GATT helped build more stable trade relations in the post-World War II Pacific region.

Abstract

MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in the food industry, are currently developing quite rapidly and are widely known by the Indonesian people. In order for a company's life cycle to continue and productivity to increase and achieve its goals, it requires a visionary leader and a good work environment. The purpose of this writing is to find out how the influence of the visionary leadership style and work environment in increasing employee work productivity at the Cake Shop Emde Cake Sarirejo. The writing method used is a quantitative method with a sample of 35 people, respondents obtained through distributing questionnaires. The sampling technique used was random sampling with data analysis tools via IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results of this paper show that the variable visionary leadership style (X1) does not have a positive and significant effect on work productivity (Y) and the work environment (X2) has a positive and significant effect on work productivity (Y). significant on work productivity (Y).

Abstract

From the results of previous research, it is very relevant that employee performance is influenced by HR planning, HR development and compensation. These findings indicate that HR planning, HR development and compensation have a positive impact on employee performance. HR planning that is integrated with a culture of learning and talent retention can improve employee performance. Apart from that, providing fair compensation also plays an important role in improving employee performance. The importance of effective HR management in improving employee performance is demonstrated by this research. The practical implication of this research is that, in order for employee performance to increase overall, companies must focus on HR planning, HR development and compensation.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyse the Definition and Basic Concepts, Threat Assessment, Dynamics of Bioterrorism Threats, Motivating Factors Driving the Use of Bioterrorism in Asymmetric Conflicts, Legal Perspectives, Impacts and Threats of Bioterrorism in Asymmetric Warfare, and Strategies and Efforts to Counter Bioterrorism. The methodology used in this research is qualitative descriptive with data collection through journals and other publications related to bioterrorism. The research findings indicate that Bioterrorism is the use of biological agents or toxins to cause disease or death in humans, animals, or plants, with the aim of instilling fear, disrupting daily life, or achieving political or ideological goals. These attacks exploit the biological properties of agents such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, or natural toxins, requiring a deep understanding of agents, spread, health impacts, public policies, and national security strategies.

Abstract

Human resource planning is crucial for companies to optimize performance, both for the company and for employees. Job analysis is one of the strategies and benchmarks for optimizing employee performance. This research is based on literacy studies from several journals and articles reviewed by the research team. The research results prove that based on studies human resource planning has a significant positive effect on employee performance. However, it turns out that job analysis has a positive but not crucial effect on employee performance. There are other factors that cause this.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between agricultural gross domestic product (GDP) and farmer exchange rate on income distribution inequality on the island of Sumatra. This research employs descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data in the form of time series data from 2013 to 2022 (ten years) and cross-sectional data from ten provinces on the island of Sumatra obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Descriptive statistical analysis and panel data regression were conducted using the Eviews 13 software. The findings of the research indicate that the agricultural sector GRDP variable exerts a significant negative effect on income distribution inequality, the Farmer Exchange Rate has no effect on income distribution inequality in the provinces of Sumatra Island between 2013 and 2022.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the concept of servant leadership and illustrate how this approach can build a sustainable organization and have a positive impact. The research method used is literature study by examining academic articles, journals, books and other relevant sources. The purpose of this article is to find out the servant leadership style at Starbucks, as the largest coffee company. The results of the analysis show that servant leadership emphasizes the importance of creating a wider positive impact on society and the environment. Servant leaders consider the social, economic, and environmental implications of their decisions and actions. Servant leadership can help organizations respond with flexibility to changes that occur in a dynamic business environment.

Abstract

Live streaming communication is real-time online communication through comments, emojis and videos. The aim of the research is to determine public perceptions about the role of live streaming digital business communication in shaping consumer attitudes, interests and beliefs. Descriptive quantitative and qualitative phenomenological research methods. The research results concluded that live streaming digital business communication is able to increase consumer attitudes, interest and confidence in shopping online because live streaming has a traditional or face-to-face communication concept, thereby reducing the risk of fraud compared to digital businesses that only rely on photos, comments and videos. Therefore, live streaming can be an effective and efficient marketing medium in explaining product information in real-time which can attract consumers to establish communication so that it can increase consumer attitudes, interest and trust.

Abstract

Vegetables are one of the leading agribusiness commodities because, in addition to having a relatively high economic value, the trend of demand is increasing. This study aims to identify the market orientation of hydroponic vegetable producers, determine the effect of market orientation on the marketing innovation of hydroponic vegetable companies, and determine the impact of market orientation on vegetable marketing performance mediated by innovation. Respondents in this study totaled 60 people. The results concluded that market orientation has a significant effect on innovation. This research concludes that market orientation is critical to pay attention to because it will influence the company to innovate.
