Abstract

Metode diskusi merupakan metode pembelajaran dimana adanya suatu kegiatan interaksi antara guru dengan siswa dan antara siswa dari bertukar informasi, pendapat, dan bekerja sama sehingga bisa menyelesaikan masalah dari pertanyaan masalah yang diberikan oleh guru, dan menyimpulkan jawaban bukti-bukti yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dalam penerapan metode diskusi; 2) aktivitas siswa; 3) hasil belajar matematika siswa denganmenggunakan metode diskusi pada siswa kelas VII A di SMP Negeri Satap 3 Sangalla’. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa SMP Negeri Satap 3 Sangalla’ yang terdaftar aktif mengikuti proses pembelajaran pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel secara acak. Semua siawa dikelompokkan sesuai dengan kelasnya dan setiap kelas diberi nomor 1-6. Hasil random tersebut diperoleh kelas VII A yang terdiri dari 24 orang sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran: 2) lembar observasi aktivitas siswa: 3) tes hasil belajar yang digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan metode diskusi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif berupa skor rata-rata dan persentase. Hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi tergolong sangat baik, dengan skor rata-rata selama dua kali pertemuan sebasar 4,56; (2) pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif sehingga pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa dengan skor persentase yang diamati selama dua kali pertemuan sebasar 71,57%; (3) metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa, hal ini terlihat dari skor rata-rata pada pre-tes 36,09, dan pada post-test meningkat dengan skor rata-rata 81,95. Berdasarkan data-data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajarmatematika siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri Satap 3 Sangalla’

Abstract

The Ice Breaking Method Effectiveness on students’ Enthusiasm in Learning English at SMPN 1 Saluputti. Students at junior high school are majorly teenagers that biologically transform from children to adolescence. This phase effects the students tend to have lack of confidence. This research to verify whether the ice breaking methods is effective on students’ enthusiasm in learning English at SMPN 1 Saluputti. The objective of this research is to find the effectiveness of the ice breaking method to improve the students’ enthusiasm in learning English at SMPN 1 Saluputti. This research is a kind of descriptive quantitative method. The subject of this research was the ninth grade students at SMPN 1 SALUPUTTI. The data of this research was collected by questionnaire. Then the data was analyzed by Likert Scale. The result of the findings about the effectiveness of the ice breaking method to improve the students’ enthusiasm in learning English at SMPN 1 Saluputti.is effective. It can be seen on the the students statement in the first questionnaire result obtained 74.5% that falling into strongly agree category and the students statement in the second questionnaire result obtained 88.3% with strongly agree category. Based on the results of this research, the researcher concludes that most of students have an increased enthusiasm in learning English when the teacher use the ice breaking method in the learning proses. So, the used of ice breaking method on students enthusiasm in lerning English at SMPN 1 Saluputti is effective.

Abstract

The success of language learning will depend on components involed in learning. These components include are students as learning subjects and language learning materials being studied by students. Therefore, in language learning the understanding of psycholinguistics is considered important. Through psychology it is learned about students and through linguistics leamed about language material through this interdisciplinary the process that occurs in students when understanding the material can be understood language.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the teacher's efforts in overcoming reading difficulties for grade II students during the COVID-19 pandemic at SDN 305 Inpres Sa'tandung. This study describes the teacher's efforts in overcoming reading difficulties and the difficulties faced by students when reading. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. This study focused on analyzing the teacher's efforts in overcoming reading difficulties. Data obtained by: observation, interviews and documentation. After this research was carried out, it was found that there were some children who still had difficulty in reading especially during this covid-19 pandemic, in this case it was influenced by limited learning at school so that when students returned home students became lazy to read, teachers at school tried to find solutions to overcome the problems of students who have difficulty reading by always accompanying students while studying and outside of learning according to the difficulties of the students, paying special attention, creating an atmosphere in the classroom to create a pleasant learning atmosphere. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the teacher has tried to overcome the reading difficulties of grade II students during the COVID-19 pandemic at SDN 305 Inpres Sa'tandung, Saluputti sub-district, Tana Toraja district by fostering students who have reading difficulties.

Abstract

This research in discussing the problems of teachers in the implementation of offline classes during the covid-19 pandemic in the Thematic Learning of Class 1 students at SDN 352 Sasak, Bittuang District, Tana Toraja Regency. This research is a qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study illustrate that the implementation of offline learning has started well because the offline learning process is carried out through three stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. at the planning stage the teacher makes RPP at the beginning of each semester, the implementation stage carries out visits/study assistance at students' homes then the evaluation stage is by giving assignments. However, in the offline learning process applied by the teacher, the teacher experienced several problems in the learning process, including the time given to the learning process which made it difficult for the teacher to convey the material as a whole, the application of social distancing for first graders was very difficult to implement and the last access was in the form of vehicles and travel costs. to be used in visiting each group of students.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve speaking skills using the sociodrama method in Indonesian subjects for fourth grade students at SDN 5 Kesu'. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles and in each cycle consisted of four steps of activities, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that using the sociodrama method in Indonesian language learning was able to increase students' self-confidence, intonation, diction, fluency and expression in students' speaking skills. The results of the analysis state that the results of the fourth grade students of SDN 5 Kesu' speaking skills have increased, seen from the average cycle 1 of 66% and cycle II of 78%. Theauthor concludes that the sociodrama method can be used in learning Indonesian because it can increase self-confidence, intonation, diction, fluency of speech and expression in speaking skills.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian ini termasuk pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperiman yakni rancangan Quasy eksperimen. Penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent control grup design yakni terdapat dua kelompok yang tidak dipilih secara random. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang diambil adalah kelas V dengan jumlah 39 siswa, terdiri dari laki-laki sebanyak 20 siswa dan perempuan sebanyak 19 siswa, dengan pertimbangan bahwa kelas V merupakan kelas dengan tingkat kemampuan kerjasama siswa yang kurang baik dibandingkan dengan kelas lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw dilakukan dengan tahapan pembentukan membaca, diskusi kelompok ahli, laporan tim,tes, dan rekognisi tim yang pada umumnya terlaksana dengan baik; (2) setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran tipe Jigsawkemampuan kerjasama siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKN di kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol tetap berada pada kategori rendah; dan (3) Ada perbedaan kemampuan kerjasama siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKN di SD Negeri 2 Teteaji setelah di beri pelaksanaan pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause teachers to have difficulty in building interpersonal relationships with students. This study used qualitative research methods. The informants of this study were classroom teachers, student teachers and students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on data analysis shows teachers still have difficulty building interpersonal relationships with students, this is indicated by the results of research where teachers are still experiencing difficulties due to ineffective communication factors, empathy, sense of humor, positive reinforcement, familiarity, acceptance and teacher approach to students who less precise.

Abstract

Education has a very important role in everyone's life, especially in view of the increasing national development, because in national development it requires quality people in every aspect. The aim of this study is to further examine the impact of the cost of education on people with economic limitations in pursuing higher education. The method used is descriptive, with the result being a descriptive form. The data collection technique used a literature study technique. The results of the literature review state that the cost of higher education is very important to ensure the implementation of education. However, given the high public and private costs of higher education in Indonesia, economic constraints are also a barrier to students' willingness to pursue higher education. This results in the community being less able to make many impacts, so it impacts on awareness raising, street children and crime. Therefore, it needs government attention, one of which is to provide opportunities for people who do not have access to the world of education, so that both rich and poor can have equal rights in education. Of course, by providing equal education for all people, it will make a great contribution to the national development of nation and state.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of parents in educating mentally retarded children during the Covid-19 pandemic is and how they are interested in learning with mentally retarded children during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design, this research lasts for several days. Data collection procedures in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that parents play an important role in the learning of children with special needs for mental retardation during the covid-19 pandemic. This is evidenced when children take online learning, parents prepare facilities that will be used by children during online learning and parents guide during learning. And the learning interest of children with special needs for mental retardation in learning is very high. very enthusiastic in doing the assignments given by the teacher.
