Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi di PT. ABC, dengan fokus pada divisi Industrial Engineering yang memproduksi produk dengan merek LC Hijab. Perusahaan menghadapi kendala berupa bottleneck pada aliran produksi, khususnya di bagian sewing, yang berpotensi menyebabkan pemborosan waktu dan menurunnya produktivitas. Melalui pendekatan lean manufacturing dan analisis data kuantitatif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi over efisiensi pada tingkat 179% dalam proses produksi, disebabkan oleh ketidakseimbangan beban kerja. Pemborosan yang diidentifikasi meliputi pergerakan yang tidak diperlukan, waktu menunggu, dan gerakan yang tidak efisien. Langkah perbaikan yang disarankan meliputi penerapan lean manufacturing, keseimbangan beban kerja, dan pengembangan standar operasional prosedur yang jelas. Hasilnya, efisiensi proses produksi berhasil ditingkatkan menjadi 80%, yang diharapkan akan menghasilkan produk yang lebih efisien dan meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan keberlanjutan ekonomi perusahaan di tengah persaingan industri yang ketat.

Abstract

Saat ini perkembangan minyak atsiri di dunia semakin pesat dikarenakan manfaatnya yang sangat beragam, diantaranya sebagai bahan parfum, kosmetik, obat, dan aromaterapi. Kabupaten Garut merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki lahan pengembangan budidaya kapulaga bahkan dikenal sebagai salah satu sentranya, maka dari itu perancangan usaha minyak atsiri kapulaga layak dianalisis untuk memanfaatkan hasil panen kapulaga yang ada di kabupaten garut. Penelitian ini berfokus pada identifikasi proses produksi dan studi kelayakan usaha dalam pengolahan kapulaga menjadi produk minyak atsiri berdasarkan aspek teknis dan aspek finansial. Berdasarkan aspek teknis, usaha minyak kapulaga layak untuk dijalankan karena pengeluaran selama kegiatan produksinya memperoleh keuntungan. Sedangkan berdasarkan aspek finansial, diperoleh data perhitungan 1 tahun dengan Harga Pokok Produksi didapatkan senilai Rp 276.720.000. Dengan minyak yang dihasilkan sebanyak 120 kg, bahan baku yang digunakan sebanyak 4800 kg. Harga jual minyak kapulaga adalah senilai Rp 3.000.000/kg dengan mengikuti harga pasaran, dengan perolehan keuntungan adalah Rp 694.000/kg. Payback period yang didapatkan adalah 1,13 tahun, BEP Operasional senilai Rp 276.720.000 atau sama dengan 94 kg, berdasarkan BEP operasional berarti harus dapat menjual minyak kapulaga sebanyak 94 kg untuk mengembalikan modal Perusahaan. Sedangkan berdasarkan BEP Investasi, penjualan minyak kapulaga harus terjual sebanyak 136 kg dalam waktu 1,13 tahun. Net Present Value didapatkan senilai Rp 72.360.000 dengan Tingkat diskonto sebesar 10% pada period ke 2, periode tersebut mengikuti waktu pengembalian modal pada perhitungan payback period. NPV didapatkan senilai Rp 59.801.653, dan IRR yang didapat pada usaha minyak kapulaga adalah sebesar 77%, maka usaha layak untuk dijalankan.

Abstract

Dengan berkembangnya teknologi yang semakin canggih, saat ini hampir semua aktivitas bisa dilakukan dari rumah. Mulai dari sekolah, bekerja, hingga melakukan pembayaran semuanya bisa dilakukan dari rumah. Tidak terkecuali, membayar pajak secara online. Akan tetapi tidak semua masyarakat mengetahui cara operasional pembayaran pajak secara online. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan e-wallet dari persepsi kemudahan, manfaat dan risiko terhadap penggunaan e-wallet dalam membayar pajak di Kabupaten Garut. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 100 wajib pajak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi studi kepustakaan dan survei. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer, dengan sumber data yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Teknik analisis data untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan SPPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi kemudahan, manfaat dan resiko secara parsial tidak berpengaruh sementara secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan e-wallet dalam membayar pajak. Di masa mendatang, e-wallet diprediksi akan terus berkembang dan berperan penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia sehingga berdampak pada pendapatan pajak di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is focused on overcoming the production capacity problems faced by PT Garut Makmur Perkasa (GMP). The main objective of this research is to increase the company's production capacity by overcoming bottlenecks that occur in the production process. The methodology used involves Theory of Constraints (TOC) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) approaches as the main methods, which are supported by other analytical tools. In the initial stage, an evaluation was conducted of the workflow to identify bottlenecks occurring in the lot preparation, soaking-liming, delimming-tanning, and retanning processes. The analysis revealed that capacity differences in the production system resulted in the backlog of work in some areas, limiting overall production performance. The results of the calculations and analysis showed that the necessary solutions included the addition of labor and machinery at certain stages. Recommendations included the addition of 6 workers in the lot preparation area, procurement of 2 new machines in the soaking-liming and delimming-tanning processes, and one additional retanning machine. The main contribution of this research is to provide practical guidance for GMP in optimizing operational efficiency and productivity. The long-term implication of implementing this solution is the potential for increased production capacity, improved resource utilization efficiency, and improved company performance.

Abstract

Mutbiea is one of the screen printing shops where the process is completed in a standing position. Screen printing in a standing position can cause soreness in several parts of the body. The soreness is felt in the neck, back, hands, and feet. Improvements that can be made to reduce soreness due to standing are to evaluate posture using the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) method. Based on the REBA calculation to reduce the risk of posture, a tool design is carried out using the NIDA (Need, Idea, Decision, and Action) method. In the NIDA method, the use of EFD (Ergonomic Function Deployment) can be used to determine the need for ergonomic tools. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the tools for the printing process need to be redesigned. This is because the splicing activity carried out by four operators has a REBA score between 5-7 with a moderate risk level so that the operator's posture needs to be explored further so that changes can be made immediately. Meanwhile, for the drying activity, three operators have a score of 5-7 with a moderate risk level and one operator with a score of 3 has a slight risk. After designing a new screen printing tool, the risk level of posture using RULA has decreased to 3 with a low risk level.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the added value of tapioca flour waste/by-products (ongok) and their contribution to the company in Ciwangi Village, Limbangan, Garut—whether it is profitable enough, and to explore the potential of these by-products as a breakthrough for a new product, namely kerupuk elod. The study used the Hayami method and SWOT analysis. The Hayami method was used to calculate added value by involving input and output, and by considering several key factors in value-added analysis such as technical and market factors, as well as supporting concepts like conversion factors, labor coefficients, and output value. SWOT analysis was used to determine the company’s position and to formulate appropriate development strategies.The research results showed that the feasibility of the tapioca flour business at PD. Mekar Jaya is profitable, with a profitability of 11%, indicating a gain. The R/C Ratio obtained was 1.31, indicating business efficiency. The NPV was IDR 373,601,200, confirming the project's viability. The BEP was IDR 448,486,270 in monetary terms and 4,555.94 kg in unit terms. The added value or profit obtained was IDR 9,839,900, with an added value ratio of 49%. The recommended development strategy for PD. Mekar Jaya’s by-product utilization includes government support for building waste processing facilities, directing waste processing toward value-added products, and developing a variety of cassava-based and cassava-waste-based products.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the performance measurement of Green Supply Chain Management at PD SP Leather and to make improvements to the underperforming aspects. The stages of this research consist of two phases: measurement and improvement recommendations. The measurement is conducted using the Green Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) method, assessing 6 business processes, namely Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return, and Enable. The improvement recommendations are made using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The Green SCOR measurement results indicate that out of a total of 17 designed performance indicators, 6 of them are considered subpar. The prioritization of improvement is determined using the AHP method, resulting in 6 alternative improvement options. Subsequently, the impact of these alternatives on the other 11 indicators is assessed using the House Of Quality (HOQ).

Abstract

This corn sheller machine will be discussed as an effective and safe tool to perform the task of shelling corn at a low production cost, safely, and economically affordable. This machine can help farmers shell maize with cheap or unused materials, reduce time and effort, and optimize the use of resources, resulting in better economic returns. Not much research has been done in Indonesia that looks at how to make an efficient, cost-effective, and safe maize sheller machine. To make an efficient, cost-effective, and safe corn sheller machine, this research uses the VDI 2221 method. The focus of her research was smallholder farmers who face geographical challenges and limited resources. The machine was made using inexpensive items such as wood, V-belt, 125 Watt Shimizu PS 128 BIT electric motor, and 2-inch pipe. Economic, safety, and efficiency analysis were conducted for the validation of the machine.Anthropometry is a tool to measure body size.

Abstract

This research aims to increase productivity by reducing waste through Lean Manufacturing and increasing profits through the utilization of raw materials in order to achieve a green manufacturing-based company. The calculation results of VALSAT Tools get a VA value of 65%, NVA 28% and NNVA of 6%. Based on the results of the weight of the 7 Waste questionnaire and 7 Waste Environmental, the biggest waste occurs in the waste of waiting by 42%, waste of transportation, inventory, and unnecessary motion by 17%. This research resulted in the design of Future Environmental Stream Mapping Design with a target cycle time of 5.94 hours from the initial time of 7.74 hours which increased productivity by 23%. And reducing solid waste from cutting fabric to make shoes resulted in a profit of Rp. 374,520. Improvement recommendations are given using the kaizen concept to reduce waiting time by reducing NVA and NNVA activity time so that it affects the production cycle time to be faster. 6R improvement recommendations are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to manage the waste generated.

Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) often face challenges in meeting growing market demands. One of the main issues is the inability to balance workload, which causes employees to work harder to achieve production targets. This increases the risk of worker fatigue and can reduce quality and productivity. This study aims to analyze the work system and identify improvement solutions to increase production capacity and reduce physical workload. Using the Macroergonomics Analysis and Design (MEAD) method, this study identified factors that affect worker performance, such as organization, equipment, physical environment, and working conditions. The results showed that improving the work system through the design of tools and workbenches can shorten the som sewing process time from an average of 900 seconds to 11 seconds, increasing production capacity from 8,120 pcs to 28,000 pcs. In addition, employees' physical workload was also reduced, which was validated using RULA, where the initial risk score decreased from 5 (medium risk) to 3 (low risk) after the improvement.
