Abstract

Sakura Mart is the largest shopping center in Amurang City, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. At Sakura Mart Amurang the parking facilities cannot accommodate parking needs. This analytical research aims to calculate the parking space requirements that must be provided for visitors when in the Sakura Mart Amurang parking area. The steps taken include calculating parking volume, parking accumulation, parking duration, parking capacity, parking availability, parking index, parking turnover rate, analysis of parking space requirements, and vehicle waiting time. The total shortage of parking space for two-wheeled vehicles is 92 spaces, while for four-wheeled vehicles 23 spaces must be provided with a total area of 516 m². For the time being, to reduce existing parking capacity, a maximum vehicle waiting time of 11 minutes 30.6 seconds for two-wheeled vehicles and 19 minutes 0.015 seconds for four-wheeled vehicles is used. Waiting time limits in parking areas must be emphasized so that they can accommodate all vehicles that come to park their vehicles, then by providing rates and multiples of rates after the specified waiting time has passed, it can encourage vehicle owners not to linger in the parking lot. area. parking area. parking area. The arrangement of the parking area must be considered with a good and correct parking management system for the convenience of parking users at Sakura Mart Amurang

Abstract

This study aims to (1) compare the reinforcement from the calculation of beams and columns with the reinforcement installed in the North Minahasa Civil servantsFlats Project, (2) to analyze whether the reinforcement installed in the North Minahasa Civil servantsFlats Project is economical or not. This research was conducted in the Department of Engineering at the Manado State Polytechnic. The method used in this research is quantitative with the method of observation. The material and structural data used are the same as those in the project. The results of this study were carried out with the help of the Etabsv20 program. Based on the results of the reinforcement calculations that have been carried out, the comparison of the area of reinforcement (AS) for columns and beams between the results of ETABS and the results of the area of reinforcement installed in the project is obtained which is then converted in percentage form. In the beam, the largest percentage ratio is in the upper support area by 60% and in the plane located in the lower plane by 60%. While in the comparison column the percentage of reinforcement column (AS) from the project with the largest ETABS result is 40%

Abstract

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, especially in the context of war crimes that harm Palestinian civilians, has become the focus of world attention. The International Criminal Court (ICC), based on the 1998 Rome Statute, has jurisdiction over crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and crimes of aggression. This research analyzes the role of the ICC in dealing with Israeli war crimes against Palestinian civilians. The ICC, as a permanent international tribunal, can try perpetrators of war crimes regardless of their official capacity in their country of origin. The ICC has the potential to provide justice for Palestinian victims of war crimes, although the challenge is to exercise jurisdiction over non-party states and ensure its decisions comply with international expectations for justice and peace

Abstract

International legal protection of child soldiers in areas of armed conflict is a major concern on the global human rights agenda. The Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Additional Protocol on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict have provided an important legal framework in efforts to protect children from recruitment and use in armed conflict. However, implementation and enforcement of laws often face complex challenges, including non-compliance by parties involved in the conflict, social and economic factors, and limited legal and security institutional capacity in affected countries. Further research is needed to understand more deeply the dynamics and challenges in protecting children in areas of armed conflict and to develop more effective strategies in protecting their rights

Abstract

The KPPU's decision in the case of alleged delay in the acquisition of shares of PT Lestari Gemilang Intisawit in PT Nabati Agro Subur (number: 05/KPPU-M/2022) emphasizes the importance of notifying shareholders regarding the takeover of shares in accordance with Law Number 5 of 1999 concerning Monopoly Practices and Business Competition Against the Law. Good. After reviewing the decision, it was decided that PT Gemilang Lestari Intisawit had an obligation to notify the KPPU regarding the takeover as a subsidiary. However, even though this transaction increases the asset value and sales value of the parent company, there is a disparity between activities that are detrimental to other business actors and the fine imposed is only 1 billion rupiah. This shows the need for further evaluation of this decision to ensure fairness in law enforcement regarding fair business competition and protecting market interests
