Abstract

Technology is an inseparable part of society in the 4.0 era, the enthusiasm to create a technology literate generation is contained in various policies in the world of education. The Teaching Campus Program is one of the flagship programs of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) policy. The Teaching Campus Program is a program that provides opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom by becoming teacher partners in the learning process at the basic education level. By participating in Campus Teaching activities, students will have the opportunity to hone their soft skills and character, as well as gain teaching experience that can be recognized in the form of semester credit units (credits). The Teaching Campus Program is a collaboration whose beneficiaries are university students and students at the elementary and junior high school education levels. This program focuses on two outputs, namely competency development for program participant students through capacity building for leadership, creativity and innovation, problem solving, communication, team management, and improvement of analytical thinking, as well as increased literacy and numeracy for students in target schools. This context is getting stronger considering the condition of literacy and numeracy in Indonesia which is still low along with efforts to increase literacy and numeracy as one of the national priority agendas

Abstract

Clean water has good quality water hardness and has been consumed for human mineral needs, containing the chemical elements of the mineral metals Sodium (Na), calcium (Ca), Chloride (Cl), nitrate (Na), magnesium (Mg), and Sulfate (Su) in units of milli-grams (mg) dissolved in a sample of Le Mineral rand drinking water in a 330 ml serving plastic bottle. In scientific outreach service activities for class XII students in the science field at SMA Pelita Bangsa Pamulang, a water electrolysis device was carried out with the aim of knowing the description of the precipitate of metal mineral chemical elements or chemical pollutant elements dissolved in groundwater samples. The methodology for community service counseling is carried out by using a water electrolysis device on groundwater samples to determine the description of the precipitate of metal mineral chemical elements or chemical pollutant elements dissolved in groundwater samples. The process of water electrolysis was carried out on groundwater samples in a glass container of water absorbing electrical energy with a capacity of 94.0 volts ac and an electric current of 0.287 amperes for a processing time of two (2) minutes. As a result of the electrolysis process of the groundwater samples, brown, orange and blackish precipitate occurred which indicated that there was a measure of the chemical element content of the dissolved metal minerals in the groundwater sample.

In general, the purpose of this activity is to provide training on the importance of coffee product packaging for the sustainability of the Ketatasi Fruit KSU business unit so that it can compete with similar products produced by different companies, with specific objectives: (1) To increase the management's understanding of Ketatasi Fruit KSU's role in packaging in the KSU Ketatasi Fruit ground coffee business; (2) To increase the knowledge of KSU Buah Kettasi managers about the functions, types, and uses of KSU Ketatasi ground coffee product packaging; and (3) To introduce tips on choosing packaging for ground coffee products at KSU Buah Ketaka. Results of the activities (1) The purpose of packaging is to maintain the aroma and taste of ground coffee both when distributed to consumers and when sold in shops, both in traditional markets and supermarkets. Same as long as the user is holding it. If the coffee is not packaged properly, the freshness, smell, and taste of the ground coffee will suffer after a week or two. The durability of ground coffee during packaging is influenced by several factors, namely storage conditions (ambient temperature), degree of roasting, ground coffee moisture content, fineness of the powder, and oxygen content of the packaging. (2) Good packaging materials should have the following characteristics: low water vapor permeability, low oxygen permeability, low aroma and odor permeability, carbon dioxide gas permeability, good oil resistance, etc., good scratch and tear resistance, and be easy and cheap to get.

Abstract

The Covis 19 virus that hit in 2019 yesterday left a big impact in various fields, especially the world of Education. The learning process that was previously carried out in offline learning, at that time had to be transferred to online learning. At the time of this community service activity, learning activities were carried out in blended learning schools, namely online and offline. However, many school-age children still adjust to the two learning processes. In the online learning process there are obstacles that they must face. First, for underprivileged families, they find it difficult to participate in learning because they do not have a cellphone or an adequate internet network so that learning cannot be carried out properly. In addition, many school-age children complain about their lack of understanding when learning online, especially Mathematics. They complain that when online, a lot of material is conveyed at a glance and lacks depth.

Abstract

Covid-19, which has attacked since 2019 until now, has reduced productivity. This makes the community uneasy, especially for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Many SMEs have been forced to close their business activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Various things have been attempted by relevant stakeholders so that SMEs continue to operate and develop despite being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. This condition forces SMEs to adapt. Mr. Saleh Safar is one of the UKM players who trades at Remu Market, Sorong City, Southwest Papua Province. His merchandise is in the form of food, namely patatas. UKM owned by Mr. Saleh Safar has been operating since 1998 until now. During the pandemic there was a decrease in purchasing power which caused Mr. Saleh Safar to not know exactly how much optimal profit he would get from selling patatas. Seeing a situation like this, steps are needed to optimize sales. For this reason, the Community Service Team (PkM) at Victory Sorong University offers a POM-QM Application Application Training program for Optimizing Petatas Sales Results with the following stages of identifying problems, selecting problem-solving models, collecting data, processing data, implementing models, and evaluating results. This can help SMEs to innovate and maintain business activities, especially SMEs owned by Mr. Saleh Safar.

Abstract

Literacy ability can be understood as the ability to analyze information in the form of text, while numeracy ability is understood as the ability to analyze information in the form of numbers. Both of these abilities help improve one's ability to draw conclusions from the information read. The current rapid development of science and technology really helps students to increase literacy-numeracy more quickly if it can be utilized and developed in learning at school. Some of the things that cause low literacy-numeration skills include low interest in reading, reading is only for learning but not to understand the reading, writing is read only without understanding the reading. Therefore, this training clinic provides fun learning in an effort to improve technology- and game-based literacy. Activities carried out: 1) Explanation of numeracy literacy material which aims to provide information and introduction to students what is meant by numeracy literacy. 2) Discussions discuss and solve numeracy literacy questions, 3) play indoors, this activity is a game using numbers or mathematical calculations but while playing, 4) Outdoor play activities are also learning while playing to improve students' numeracy literacy by hone students' mathematical abilities but still while playing, 5) Using technology by giving quizzes through the quiziz application even though students still have to be guided in using cellphones to complete the quizzes given. Based on these activities, student responses were obtained, including 59% of students' interest in reading increased and 58% of students' interest in learning mathematics experienced an increase after participating in clinical activities to improve numeracy literacy skills based on technology and games.
