Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) until now have become global public health problems. Community service activities related to HIV/AIDS are related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely to achieve health and well-being for all people. Based on data from the Pangkajene Health Center in 2022 there are 3 HIV/AIDS sufferers in the Tumampua Village, therefore it is necessary to carry out counseling to prevent an increase in HIV/AIDS sufferers while at the same time conducting health checks on the Tumampua Village community. The purpose of this service is to increase the knowledge and attitudes of the general public in the Tumampua Village regarding the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS, as well as the stigma and discrimination towards the people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). This service is carried out in several stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. Evaluation of HIV/AIDS counseling using Pre-Test and Post-Test questionnaires distributed to the community. The data analysis technique used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of statistical tests showed that HIV/AIDS counseling increased the knowledge and attitudes of the people in the Tumampua Village with 10 knowledge questions and attitude statements each.

Abstract

The Teaching Campus Program provides opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom by becoming teacher partners in the learning process at the educational level. Through this program the role of students is needed to provide better learning to schools and hone creativity. the numeracy skills of students at Christian Middle School 03 Kalabahi are very lacking because there are still many students who think that learning related to numeracy is boring and based on formulas and calculations. Assistance is carried out by providing material and questions and games related to the material. There are differences in the results before carrying out mentoring and after carrying out learning assistance where there is an increase in the results obtained from each student. the increase in students' numeracy skills affects two factors, namely factors from within the student and factors from outside the student. Factors from within the student can be seen from the ability to grasp, students' memory of the material being taught and also the seriousness of students in participating in the learning process. Abstract

The community service activities carried out were in the form of learning assistance for class VII students of junior high school (SMP) Christian Middle School 03 Kalabahi. This activity aims to increase students' understanding, enthusiasm and enthusiasm for learning mathematics, especially in mathematics set material. From the results of observations and identification carried out in the first week, it was found that interest in mathematics was quite low, this was known through the initial tests conducted. The results of the initial test (pre-test) are known that most of the students have not completed or obtained test scores below the minimum competency score. The results of these findings were then discussed together to design mentoring activities, the results of the pre-test were also the basis for us to carry out learning assistance, with the hope that students could increase their interest in learning mathematics and increase their grades in mathematics. After learning assistance for some time then a final test is carried out to evaluate the process that has been carried out, from the results of the final test (post test) a change is obtained in the grades obtained by each student when compared to the initial test (pre test).

Abstract

ISPA (Infesi Saluran Pernafasan Atas) merupakan penyakit saluran pernapasan bagian atas atau bawah yang biasanya menular dan, tergantung pada faktor lingkungan dan pejamu, dapat menyebabkan spektrum penyakit yang luas, mulai dari penyakit tanpa gejala atau infeksi ringan hingga penyakit berat dan fatal. Penyakit ini merupakan penyebab utama tingginya angka kematian dan kesakitan pada balita di Indonesia dimana salah satu penyebab dari ISPA sendiri adalah asap rokok. Penggunaan rokok di Indonesia sebenarnya relatif lebih tinggi dibandingkan negara Asia Tenggara lainnya, maka dari itu penyuluhan terkait ISPA dan rokok sangatlah penting. Penyuluhan terkait ISPA dan Bahaya Merokok dilaksanakan di Desa Parenreng, Kecamatan Segeri, Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan. Tujuan dari penyuluhan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat, dengan metode penyuluhan dilakukan melalui diskusi dan pemasangan papan wicara. Instrumen penyuluhan ini berupa pre-test dan post-test. Dari hasil penyuluhan ISPA terdapat pengetahuan masyarakat meningkat sebesar 29% dari 16 orang yang hadir. Sedangkan, hasil dari penyuluahan terkait bahaya merokok didapati bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat meningkat sebesar 37% dari 16 orang yang hadir. Sehingga penyuluhan terkait ISPA dan Bahaya Merokok berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengethauan Masyarakat Desa Parenreng, Kecamatan Segeri, Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan.

Abstract

A construction project is one of the activities in which the results of the work are affected by the productivity of the workforce. Activities in construction projects are interrelated, so that if one activity is hampered it will hinder other activities in the field. Likewise construction activities are complex jobs and require more attention in their implementation. The elements that are part of the construction are cost, quality, and time in which there are also resources that must be controlled, such as work and materials. Based on this, it is necessary to have technical guidance for prospective civil engineering graduates to prepare them so that they are better prepared and able to enter the world of construction work later. Based on this, the Ministry of PUPR, the Director General of Construction Development, Jayapura Region VII Construction Services Center, and Iqra University, work together to carry out technical assistance activities in the Auditorium Room of Iqra Buru University, Namlea Regency. This activity lasted for 3 days. There were several materials presented, namely Project Management, K3, Quality Control and Precast Concrete. The activity participants consisted of more than 30 students, the majority of whom were final students who were doing their thesis and were about to graduate. This activity is carried out with lectures, giving assignments and questions and answers. This is done so that students are more focused on listening to the material and activities that are taking place.

Abstract

Bioinformatics is one of the fields of science that is currently developing rapidly in society. This is due to the increase in molecular biology research, which has resulted in an unprecedented amount of biological data/information explosion. In its application, bioinformatics uses online software and databases. Community service activities have provided education about Introduction to Bioinformatics, Applications, and Databases to students of SMK Laniang Makassar, Tamalanrea District, Makassar City. This activity was attended by 23 participants from the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) department and nursing assistants. This activity aimed to provide knowledge about bioinformatics, databases, and the use of bioinformatics-based applications in various aspects. The activity was carried out for one day, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 09:00 to 13:00 local time. The method used in this activity is by presenting bioinformatics introduction material, databases, and applications related to bioinformatics as well as direct practice using mobile phones, closed with a discussion/question and answer between participants and speakers at the end of the activity. It is known that the result of this service community activity was an increase in student knowledge related to bioinformatics, databases, and bioinformatics applications.

Abstract

In realizing social welfare in terms of the economy, it starts from a small scope, namely the family. Where each family has a role as a PKK member, through this membership can provide training to market the products owned by each member so that they can overcome the problems that exist in the sale of products that are not well known to many people or have a less wide reach. This community service activity aims as an effort to increase knowledge and insight regarding digital marketing, especially focusing on using Whatsapp business  so that it is more optimal in marketing products so that product sales results increase and increase family income. This activity was attended by PKK members Badran Mulyo, Lalung, Karanganyar. Some PKK members already have or already have WhatsApp accounts, but some others have not used WhatsApp specifically for business, namely Whatsapp business . The training is carried out using the devices of each member so that they can be directly applied to their respective businesses and products during the training. The results of the training were that PKK members were very enthusiastic about optimizing the use of whatsapp business  as a media for product marketing, but in this training they still needed advanced training in aspects of creating whatsapp story content to make it more attractive to potential buyers.

Abstract

The attractiveness of a tourist area is a driving force for a tourism place, therefore the tourist attraction is the main driver that encourages tourists to visit a tourist spot. The method used in this service is the method of transferring knowledge and skills through a participatory approach. The forms of activities provided to partners are training, counseling and mentoring. The stages of the activity begin with observation, namely interviews with relevant government and stakeholders. The activity continued with the socialization of the PIPK program and holding a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) to find out the conditions that are currently happening at the service location, whether in the form of obstacles, threats, constraints or potentials that exist and are feasible to develop. The next stage is formulating alternative policy programs taken, offering the right solution in overcoming problems from partners. The stages of implementation through training and counseling and providing assistance. The results of this community service activity can be seen in each of the Pokdarwis Bahari partners, namely 1 (one) design of a tourism site plan, Availability of adequate facilities, 1 ( one) tourism management structure, 1 (one) online-based promotional media and for lagoon KUB partners, 1 (one) design of fishery product processing equipment as well as diversification of various processed fishery products that are ready to be marketed.

Abstract

Achieving a healthy lifestyle requires a series of consistent steps, such as regular exercise, eating healthy and nutritious foods, getting enough rest, implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle, and consuming vitamins to boost external immunity. There is also concern about improving the health of children and adolescents, especially children who may have a minimal immune system that needs to be strengthened. The purpose of this activity is to provide education and counseling on how to live a clean and healthy lifestyle and to provide knowledge to children about the use of vitamins. The method of this activity is that children are first given questions for a pre-test about a clean and healthy lifestyle and vitamins, then present the material and close it with a post-test. As a result, only 8,57% of the students knew what a healthy lifestyle and vitamins were at the time of the pre-test. After the presentation of the material, the increase in children's knowledge increased by an average of 86,1%. The activity's conclusion is that it can teach children about living a healthy lifestyle and consuming vitamins. .

Abstract

The Pasar Rebo website is a public publication tool that provides information and an overview of Pasar Rebo, as well as enhancing services to the public to access information. Through this website, it is hoped that the community can obtain all information about the Pasar Rebo subdistrictThe website is no longer limited to providing static information, but is also capable of providing dynamic information by connecting to a database. Community Service activities are carried out in the Pasar Rebo sub-district. From the results of interviews with sub-district officers in Pasar Rebo, so far the community has only been limited to getting information on services, the one million orchid village program, facilities and infrastructure at the Pasar Rebo sub-district manually. Bootstrap is one of the most popular CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) frameworks used to build a website's frontend. By using Bootstrap, developers can speed up the web appearance development process because they no longer need to create styling from scratch, and ensure that the web appearance that is built is responsive and easy to read on various devices (desktop, tablet, or mobile). Therefore, the Pasar Rebo sub-district website was designed using a bootstrap framework with the aim that the public can easily access up-to-date information in the Pasar Rebo sub-district anytime and anywhere.
