Abstract

Hypertension is a disorder in the blood vessels that causes the supply of oxygen and nutrients carried by the blood to be delayed to the body tissues that need it and blood pressure is more than 140/90 mmHg. The incidence of hypertension during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021 is quite high in the Puskesmas Inpatient Simpang Tiga with a prevalence of 8.1%. The causes of hypertension are divided into primary and secondary hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of the incidence of hypertension during the covid-19 pandemic in the work area of ​​the Simpang Tiga Inpatient Health Center. This type of research uses quantitative methods with cross sectional design. The population in this study amounted to 3,132 with a sample of 185 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. The study was carried out in the work area of ​​the Simpang Tiga Inpatient Health Center, Pekanbaru City in 2022. The results of this study showed that the proportion of hypertension in the incidence of hypertension during the COVID-19 pandemic was 28.6%. The determinants that have a relationship with the incidence of hypertension are smoking habits (P-value = 0.007) with 95% POR = 2,420 (1,260- 4,647), diet (P-value = 0.000) with 95% POR = 0.219 (0.108-0.443) , physical activity (P-value = 0.006) with 95% POR = 2.981 (1.341-6.625), knowledge (P-value = 0.010) with 95% POR = 2.344 (1.222-4.499), family support (P-value = 0.861 ) with 95% POR = 1.061 (0.549-2.050), and support from health workers (P-value = 0.712) with 95% POR = 0.876 (0.434-1.768). It is recommended for those in charge of health and nutrition promotion to maximize education or socialization related to hypertension counseling to all levels of society who are in the working area of ​​the Inpatient Health Center equally

Abstract

Diarrhea is a disease that causes sufferers to have frequent bowel movements with watery stools. Diarrhea can occur due to food and drink exposed to viruses, bacteria or parasites. Some of the common causes are infections by viruses, bacteria, and parasites, food poisoning, and side effects of drugs. This study aims to determine the determinants of the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in the working area of the Sapta Taruna Health Center. This type of research uses a quantitative analytic study with a cross sectional research design. The population is 1,737 respondents with a sample of 152 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The location of the research was carried out in the working area of the Sapta Taruna Health Center. The results of this study indicate the proportion of diarrhea in children under five is 22.4%. The determinants that have a relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five are the provision of clean water (p value = 0.0001) with a POR value of 5.527, drinking water sources (p value = 0.012) with a POR value of 2.898, the availability of latrines (p value = 0.0001) with a POR value of 10.298, and hand washing habits (p value = 0.0001) with a POR value of 4.900. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the provision of clean water, drinking water sources, availability of latrines and hand washing habits with the incidence of diarrhea in the working area of the Sapta Taruna Health Center. It is recommended that the Puskesmas routinely provide counseling about nutrition, PHBS and diarrhea.

Abstract

Hypertension is a major risk factor that leads to cardiovascular disease. Hypertension can be controlled by regulating eating behavior, where the percentage of behavior less consumption of fruits and vegetables is the highest percentage, namely 95.4%. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with eating behavior at risk of hypertension in the elderly in the working area of ​​the Tambang Health Center, Tambang District in 2022. This research method was quantitative with a cross sectional design. The sample of this research is 126 people taken by consecutive sampling technique. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between age (p = 0.045, OR=2,439 ), gender (p = 0.0026, OR = 2.627 ), attitude (p = 0.019, OR = 2.796 ), knowledge (p = 0.015, OR = 2.851 ) , the role of health workers (p = 0.007, OR = 3.544 ), family support (p = 0.001, OR = 3.544 ) and the unrelated, namely education (p = 0.507) and distance to health facilities (p = 0.379), it can be concluded that factors related to eating behavior at risk of hypertension in the elderly in the work area of ​​the Tambang Health Center, Tambang District in 2022 include, age, gender, attitude, knowledge, role of health workers and family support Suggestions for the elderly are expected to routinely check blood pressure at the nearest posbindu and for health workers to increase the role of health promotion and increase the knowledge of the elderly, especially knowledge about the recommended consumption of hypertension drugs.

Abstract

B3 solid medical waste is infectious waste that contains various pathogenic micro-organisms that can transmit disease, cause health and environmental problems, the production of solid medical waste at Bina Kasih Hospital Pekanbaru increased during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019 reaching 7,560 kg while in 2017 2020 reached 9,780 kg. Management at Bina Kasih Hospital Pekanbaru City in 2022. This study used a qualitative method with observasion research instruments, in-depth interviews with 6 informants, namely the Director, the head of the general section, the PPI committee, the head of the emergency room, head of the midwifery room and cleaning service and, data processing techniques with triangulation of methods, sources and data, data analysis with reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the study were found that were not to standard, such as the reduction stage, namely there was no reuse of solid medical waste recycling. sorting stage, no symbols were found that matched the type of waste category. storage places found facilities and infrastructure that are still lacking. In the transportation stage, it was found that the cleaning service did not use complete PPE. The transportation processing stage from the 3rd party is carried out every 3 days. There are no competent environmental health personel in medical waste management B3 solid medical waste management is not in accordance with the standards of Regulation RI/NO.56/MENLHK-SETJEN/2015 and Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia/07/2019. Suggestions for Bina Kasih Hospital Pekanbaru should improve medical waste management to comply with the standards of Regulation RI/NO.56/MENLHK-SETJEN/2015 and Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia/07/2019.

Abstract

Open defecation is the act of disposing of human waste or excreta such as in fields, bushes,beaches, forests, and other open areas and allowed to spread to contaminate the soil, air, and water environment. In terms of environmental health, human waste can be a very important problem. This study aims to determine the determinants of open defecation in the community of Tuah Negeri RW 01, Tenayan Raya District, pekanbaru city. This type of research is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional design. The time of this research is from June-July 2022. The research population namely the Tuah Negeri village community RW 01 amounted to 362 families and the research sample was 125 respondents. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling by taking randomly. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate with chi square test (α=0,05). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p=0,035<α=0,05), attitude (p=0,000<α=0,05), income (p=0,011<α=0,05), latrine ownership (p=0,000<α=0,05) with open defecation. Variables knowledge, attitudes, income, latrine ownership related to open defecation in the community in RW 01. Cross sectoral collaboration is needed between the Puskesmas and the Tuah Negeri Village and Tenayan Raya Districtin increasing knowledge about the dangers of open defecation and changing the habits of people who defecate openly by providing special education to the community so that open defecation can stop.

Abstract

Food sanitation hygiene is an effort to control four factors, namely food, people, places, and equipment that can cause disease or health problems. This study aims to determine the Analysis of Food Sanitation Hygiene on Street Vendors in Ujung Batu Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The research used is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interviews and observation methods, to 11 informants consisting of 1 head of market management, 5 traders, 5 food consumers. This research was carried out in May 2022 in Ujung Batu Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The results of this study indicate that traders never check their health, resulting in ignorance of whether food handlers have infectious diseases, traders have dirty nails, do not wear masks, traders do not wash their hands, traders do not use tools such as spoons/forks when taking food/making food. food for consumers. Traders store food in places that are not covered so that vectors can land on food, traders do not use gloves when making food. Trash cans that are not closed cause flies to land on food because the food is also open, traders do not provide hand washing facilities equipped with soap, dirty utensils are not washed immediately, traders do not have a place to store equipment, washed utensils are only placed on the table then covered with a cloth, the water used to wash the equipment was not replaced so the water became oily.

Abstract

COVID-19 is an infectious disease that attacks the respiratory tract caused by the corona virus (novel coronavirus). COVID-19 cases in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province as of January 11, 2022, were 3,432 positive confirmed cases, with 182 deaths. Based on the results of the researchers' first observations that sanitation facilities are not optimal and the application of health protocols has not been implemented. The purpose of this study is to analyze sanitation facilities and the application of health protocols in Pasar Baru, Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency during the 2022 covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is analytical qualitative. The informants of this study were 7 peoples using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done through in-depth interviews and observation. The results of this study are the availability of hand washing facilities that do not meet the requirements, disinfection facilities have not been implemented optimally, generally sellers and buyers have not implemented the use of masks, hand washing with soap has not been applied optimally, physical distancing has not been implemented in Pasar Baru, currently avoiding crowds is not implemented by sellers and buyers, and the implementation of reducing mobility has not been implemented in Pasar Baru. It is hoped that the manager of Pasar Baru will complete the provision of sanitation facilities that are not yet optimal and collaborate regularly with the authorities to conduct raids again regarding the implementation of health protocols in Pasar Baru

Abstract

Hygiene is an effort to prevent a disease in individuals or humans and the environment in which the person is located. The restaurant is one of the places visited by the general public, this requires special attention in the field of sanitation. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of hygiene and sanitation conditions of Ampera Mintuo in Perhentian Marpoyan Subdistrict, Marpoyan Peace District, Pekanbaru City in 2022. The type of research was qualitative with a qualitative descriptive. The informants in this study were 9 people, namely, the sanitarian section of the puskesmas, 2 people, restaurant owners, 3 kitchen employees, 2 handlers, 1 Ampera visitors. This research has been carried out in July 2022. The results of this study indicate that the handlers do not use masks, do not use gloves and do not wash their hands when making food for buyers, Equipment is not washed with running water, utensils are washed with water that is stored in a basin and the water is already oily due to the previous dishwashing, the equipment storage area is open, the water container is not closed, it is hoped that handlers will use masks because of the pandemic using masks can prevent the spread of covid-19, equipment must be washed with running water, The equipment storage area should be placed in a special equipment cabinet to avoid vectors from entering the equipment.

Abstract

Learning achievement is the result of learning. Achievement is obtained from evaluation or assessment. Each child will have different learning outcomes or achievements from one another. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to student achievement at the PGRI Junior High School in Pekanbaru City during the COVID- 19 pandemic in 2022. This research method uses quantitative with a cross sectional.This research will be conducted at SMP PGRI Pekanbaru City with a total sample of 98 respondents using a total sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate with chi-square (α=0.05). This research was carried out in July 2022. Based on the results of the research, the conclusion shows that the proportion of students who have poor academic achievement during the COVID- 19 pandemic in 2022 is 56.1%. The determinant that has a relationship between learning achievement and attitude (Pvalue = 0.010) with 95% POR = 3.680 (1.442-9.390), the effect of using gadgets(Pvalue = 0.005) with 95% POR = 3.818(1.566-9.308),peer influence (Pvalue = 0.002) with 95% por = 4.081% (1.717-9.698), the role of parents (Pvalue = 0.000) with 95% POR = 8.800(3.495-22.157) and the role of the teacher (P-value = 0.009) with 95% POR = 3.368 (1,436-7,901). It is recommended to the school, especially for Guidance Counseling (BK) teachers, are expected to always provide a strong attitude of learning motivation to students in order to improve their achievement in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to pass down volleyball by using the paired learning method for class VIII 1 students of Junior High School 2 Inuman. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII 1 of Junior High School 2 Inuman which consisted of 1 class totalling 24 students. The research instrument used was the rubik's assessment of volleyball under passing work. The data analysis technique is by calculating the classical completeness score of 70% of students who get a KKM value of 70 from student learning outcomes. The results of the research and data analysis of this research can be concluded that there is an increase in the ability to pass under volleyball using the paired learning method in class VIII 1 Junior High School 2 Inuman with the percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle of 79% and in the second cycle of 95.8% so that there is an increase in the percentage value of 16.8%.
