Abstract

Efforts to optimize the successful implementation of dance learning can be done by applying appropriate learning strategies and methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of learning creative dance through the SAVI model and the influencing factors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study are in the form of a description of the creative dance learning process through the SAVI model, the activities implemented start from planning implementation and evaluation. In the planning stage, preparing an RPP (Learning Implementation Plan) adapted to the syllabus and preparing teaching materials. Then the implementation activities carried out in the learning process through the SAVI model consist of four stages, namely: introduction, delivery of material, creative dance practice and closing. Evaluation of the learning outcomes of creative dance using group dance practice tests with individual scores. The supporting factors are the enthusiasm for student learning and the teacher's role as a guide, while the inhibiting factors are the lack of a schedule for teaching dance.Kata Kunci: Proses Pembelajaran, Tari Kreasi, Banten Jawara

Abstract

Dance has a role as a medium of expression, creative thinking, developing talents, and also a medium of communication. During the pandemic, the dance studio was also affected, namely not being able to carry out face-to-face learning. One of the efforts that could be made was by conducting online learning. For dance learning through online learning, utilizing internet applications as a medium for mutual interaction and learning, one of which was the Google Meet application, the advantages of the Google Meet application for online dance training include this application which can be downloaded and used free of charge so that anyone with a gadget can access this application. Research conducted using experimental methods with a quantitative approach, Pre-Experimental design research design with the category of one group pretest-posttest design. The samples used in this study were 20 people with different age levels, from the age range of 7 to 17 years. Based on the results of the study, the average values for each meeting were 75.5, 81 and 92.5. At the third meeting, the student assessment criteria were rated (A) very well, with the resulting average score increasing rapidly and being in very good criteria, this was because students were able to perform dances well and their dancing skills increased at each meeting.

Abstract

Jaipongan dance is one of the arts which is still developing in West Java. The Jaipongan dance takes several folk-dance elements from the Priangan and Kaleran regions. One of the figures who is still preserving, developing, and continuing the jaipongan dance is the figure of Lalan Ramlan. The jaipongan Ciptaningrasa Bojongan dance by Lalan Ramlan is a dance that has a dynamic, energetic, masculine character and this dance aims to preserve and develop so that pair dances (opposite sex) are kept alive, especially for male dances. The purpose of this research is that the researcher aims to examine and find out some information on the ideas of working on dance construction in the creation of the Jaipong Ciptaningrasa Bojongan Dance by Lalan Ramlan. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method of analysis with an ethnochoreological approach. This method is used to solve and explain the idea of working on, choreography, make-up, and clothing regarding the Jaipongan Ciptaningrasa Bojongan Dance. Data collection was carried out by researchers through observation, literature studies, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained in this study were able to study and analyze the choreographic form of the Jaipongan Ciptaningrasa Bojongan Dance in an ethnochoreological approach. As for the movement structure uses pure movement, gesture (Gesture movement), locomotion (moving places), and baton signal (expression booster) with the structure of the jaipongan dance (bubuka, nibakeun, pencungan, mincid), it can be concluded that the Jaipongan dance Ciptaningrasa Bojongan is a dance with a new presentation style starting from the form of movement choreography, music choreography and the form of the make-up arrangement without losing the aesthetic value of the previous jaipongan dance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and results of the development of Sirih Kuning dance learning videos through cinematography techniques that can be applied in high school learning in learning Sirih Kuning dance. The underlying reason for this research is to provide learning solutions by producing learning videos of Sirih Kuning dance to help students learn on their own. This research uses the RD (Research and Development) method or is often referred to as research and development. The research process is carried out through the stages of analysis, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research found that the better the quality of dance learning videos used by students, the better the student learning outcomes. The research in the main is the feasibility test results obtained an average score from material experts (4. 66), from media experts (4.16) and from learning experts (4.6) getting a good category from the aspects of quality, benefits, suitability to the learning context. The effectiveness of the results show that the use of dance learning videos with cinematographic techniques can improve the learning outcomes of Sirih Kuning dance and make it easier to learn independently.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe the application of stimulus methods and demonstration methods in dance learning to improve the child's confidence in Sanggar Puri Rakumatati Tangerang, 2) improve the child's confidence through stimulus methods and demonstration methods in dance learning in Sanggar Puri Rakumatati Tangerang. The study used class action research methods and Kurt Lewin's action research design. Data collection techniques use observations and field record methods with qualitative data analysis techniques descriptions and statistical quantifications. The study was conducted on 10 children aged 4 to 6 at the Puri Ranggatati Studio, Tangerang, Banten. Triangulation techniques use triangulation methods, theories, and time. The results of this study show increased confidence in children. The pre-cycle assessment received an average value (34.45), the I cycle received an average value (64.6) and the II cycle received an average value (91.95). The use of stimulus methods and demonstration methods gives a positive change to the child's behavior, and gift giving can give the child motivation to strengthen their confident behavior. The confidence of the child in the respiratory tract can be improved through stimulus methods and demonstration methods seen from the increase in pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II scores. The coach should be able to find and apply the right dance learning methods for children.

Abstract

In the era of the current generation, deviant behavior is developing among young people in almost all corners of the world. This can happen due to environmental factors freedom in accessing social networks and errors in accessing information and the use of information technology. This article aims to explain the process and stages of making short dance films and reveal strategies for overcoming the problem of social deviation through short dance films as a medium for introspection that has a message of moral values. The method used in this article is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis which describes the results of observation and analysis of data phenomena obtained in the field. After analyzing the data, the research results were repeated using triangulation, so that the ideas and concepts of thought could be expressed in a Short Contemporary Dance Film entitled "Renung". The results of this article explain the stages of making a short dance film by containing a storyline, storyboard, and editing techniques so that you can dissect every value in the short dance film. This contemporary dance work "Renung" can be used as a medium for self-introspection to improve moral values in the current and future generations.

Abstract

Technology currently plays an important role in teaching and learning activities , so teachers and students certainly have to take advantage of this technology to make it easier to find learning resources. One of the learning resources currently used by teachers and students in arts and culture subjects is the flip book learning resource which can be accessed via their respective cell phones. This study aims to determine the development of students in learning to use flip book learning resources, both in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor students. In this study, the method used is a qualitative descriptive method that can describe what is seen and based on existing phenomena. Based on the results of the research, the process of applying flip book learning resources to the subject of cultural arts aspects of dance has been carried out well. In addition, with the application of this learning resource, it can be seen that the level of student development in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor has started to improve and is increasing. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of art and culture flip book learning resources on class XI students of SMA Negeri 5 Kota Serang.

Abstract

The "Pencug Bojong" dance is a dance created by Gugum in late 1986 and early 1987 for male dancers to depict Sundanese men, showing the aesthetic values of the richness and treasures of Sundanese culture. The choreographic movements in the "Pencug Bojong" dance are more adapted from Pencak Silat movements, namely 24 series of movements, including 4 movement categories, namely locomotion, pure movement, gesture and baton signal. The research approach used a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, documentation as well as literature study and data analysis using triangulation. The results of this research show that the "Pencug Bojong" dance has a dashing character and has its own difficulties both in technique, accuracy, uniqueness, speed and in its spirit which shows an exemplary character of not giving up easily, showing the simplicity of Sundanese men which indirectly reveals wrongdoing. a form of Sundanese male concept which is conveyed through movements, costumes and make-up in the Pencug Bojong Dance, the energetic and attractive Sundanese male character is formed and expressed and the music used is the Tablo Naek Gendu percussion pattern.

Abstract

This research aims to examine more deeply the application of the TPACK approach to creative dance learning in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Anyer. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through observing, understanding, describing and analyzing data. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that from the learning implementation process to the results of the overall evaluation of learning with the application of the TPACK approach, it is carried out in accordance with the research indicators, namely the seven components of the TPACK approach, including CK, PK, TK, PCK, TCK, TPK, and TPACK. In addition, SMA Negeri 1 Anyer has facilities and infrastructure that are able to properly support the TPACK-based learning process. In addition to making it easier for teachers and students, the involvement of the use of technology in learning can encourage students' enthusiasm for learning, so that they can improve their ability to learn both at school and outside the school environment.

Abstract

Physical exercise for a dancer is a form of basic training activity that is carried out regularly and sequentially, covering the muscles, joints and all parts of the body. The function of physical exercise is to prepare a body that is not yet ready to be ready for dance activities. The aim of this research is to explain the color guard form of exercise and its relevance to dancers' endurance. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive-analytical method with data sources through observation, interviews,and documentation studies. Color Guard is a division in a marching band that specializes in displaying visual beauty. Based on research results, Color Gu ard is based on physical exercise to train flexibility and endurance. The color guard form of exercise can be applied to dancers, especially for flexibility and endurance training. Body movements include: 1) Position, 2)Saute, 3)Plie, 4) GroundPlie,5)Rond De Jambe, 6)Pase, 7)Pirouttes, 8)Turning, 9)Jazz run, 10)Grand Jette, 11)Plank, 12)Split. Exercise color guard Used to strengthen leg muscles and train flexibility. For dancers, having strong legs is the key to being able to dance both traditional and contemporary modern. Exercise color guard relevant for training the endurance and flexibility of the dancer's body in line with the increasing endurance of the dancer's body marked by increasing training intensity from time to time.
