Abstract

This paper aims to understand the spiritual revitalization of millennial youth through a religious trilogy as the three foundations of scientific foundations in Islam. This study uses a qualitative method of library research. The data analysis technique uses analysis content. The study results show that the Religion trilogy is a term from the three main foundations of Islam, namely Sharia, aqidah, and morals. Islam represents Sharia, Iman represents Akidah, and Ihsan represents Morals. Faith is, in the first place, functioning as the foundation of life. Adolescents can support various winds and storms of life if their creed or faith is of high quality; like a building, teenagers have a solid foundation that can support other buildings. The second order is Sharia; it regulates attitudes-interaction with His Lord and attitudes-interaction with others. Adolescents with good sharia quality will be able to stand up to the problems that arise in society. The third order is morality, which functions as a decoration, beautifies and beautifies the view. The Religious Trilogy must be understood correctly and adequately for success as Caliph Fi al-Ard'I has a religious-nationalist-ethical-humanistic personality.

Abstract

This article discusses nyadran, Sufism values in it, and the strategy to preserve it. The findings in this article, nyadran is as one of the archipelago Islamic treasures having high Sufism values. Sufism values contained in nyadran are longing, holding back lust, self-examination, repentance, ascestism, wisdom, maintaining purity, courage, and the value of justice. There are several strategy to preserve nyadran in the fourth Industrial Revolution era so that Muslims will not be disruption from their culture. First, the movement to save humanity from the condition of confusion through nyadran. Second, the incorporation of inner aspects and modernity through nyadran. Third, educate the public that nyadran contains Sufism values. Fourth, the development of nyadran through cultural and religious based tours. Fifth, the concept of cultural parties in nyadran. Sixth, community dialogue with preacher, ulema, modin with the aim of discussing understanding, wisdom, and the benefits of nyadran for social life, nature, and aspects of worship to God.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is so rapid, marked with everything can be done all digital. The rapid development of information and communication technology is also unavoidable in people’s lives, including in the pesantren environment. The students at the pesantren are also equipped with skills in utilizing technology to meet the needs of responding to the times. Santri millennial must be able and brave to appear at the forefront in filling spaces in various virtual media such as social media, because radicalism is widely spread through social media. Therefore the santri millennial community is named Arus Informasi Santri Nusantara made massive movements on social media to fight the spread of radical ideas. The research uses a qualitative approach, as for the data obtained through interviews and based on experience in the field. Santri millennial incorporated in Arus Informasi Santri Nusantara aware of this so as to make a movement against the spread of radical understanding on social media through activities such as kopi darat nasional, kopi darat wilayah, ngaji sosial media, and scheduled movements to produce positive content and used as trending topics. By producing positive content typical of pesantren, then the social media homepage will be filled with positive things, so that radicalism will be excluded.

Abstract

Education functions to form good character because good character is the initial capital for humans to realize a prosperous life. This study aims to provide an overview or description of the importance of instilling character education at an early age, especially for teachers and parents. This type of research is bibliographic research or library research. The research method used is descriptive-analytical. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded: Character education in early childhood has four methods of character learning based on values and moral education, namely as follows: 1) learning methods for teaching values; 2) learning models based on the development of moral reasoning; 3) learning models for value analysis; 4) learning models for project citizens. In addition to these four methods, the role of a teacher or parent is vital to inform some daily behavior by the norms, ethics, or rules that have been applied.

Abstract

Ath-Thusi uses Aristotle's understanding of the practical reason of the theory of surgery. According to Ath-Thusi, the cause of deviation is anything excessive. Thus, the unbalanced state of the soul is caused by the advantages, disadvantages, or morbidity of the mind. Diversity in a society is a necessity, a household, as the smallest community of a complex society and full of differences, it is certainly necessary to be based on the building of togetherness and mutual respect between one another. This article will describe the creative ideas of Khawajah Nashiruddin Ath-Thusi related to the philosophy of the household in order to answer the present-day problematic of the family.

Abstract

This paper presents the lunar eclipse reckoning system in the book Nûr Al-Anwȃr analysis of KH. Noor Ahmad SS. Eclipses are natural events that occur several times each year. In the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the event was stated as part of the signs of the greatness of God. The Book of Al-Anwar is one of the books written by the original ulama of the archipelago. The discussion in this book consists of determining the beginning of the Kamariyah month, the lunar eclipse and the solar eclipse. Markaz used in this book is Jepara markaz with coordinates 60 36 'LS and 1100 40'. calculations for other areas must be adjusted slightly.The Book of Al-Anwar includes a system of eclipse reckoning which is quite accurate. The reckoning system was included in the category of essential reckoning bi al-tahqiq. The astronomical data were sourced from al-Ma'la 'al-Sa'id data using the Jepara epoch (110 ° 40' E). The reckoning method uses an ecliptic limit value of 120 and can be scientifically justified. The trigonometric formulas are the result of the modification and transformation of the formula form of the logarithmic formulas in the book of al-Khul'ah al-Wafiyyah into the trigonometry formulas.

Abstract

Wacana pembahasan perbandingan genealogi Walisongo dalam karya ulama nusantara mengundang perhatian untuk dikaji. Tulisan ini membahas kajian genealogi walisongo dalam turast pesantren melalui kitab Ahlā al-Musāmarah fī Hikāyāt al-Auliyā’ al-‘Asyrah karya Syekh Abul Fadhol Senori dan kitab Tarikh Auliya’ karya KH. Bisri Mustofa. Mereka berdua merupakan dua ulama’ Nusantara yang karyanya membahas tentang para wali di Jawa.  Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan bayaknya persamaan genealogi Walisongo antara kitab Ahlā al-Musāmarah fī Hikāyāt al-Auliyā’ al-‘Asyrah karya Syekh Abul Fadhol Senori dengan Kitab Tarikh Auliya’ karya KH. Bisri Mustofa baik dari segi nama tokoh maupun toponimnya. Namun juga terdapat sedikit perbedaan genealogi Walisongo dari masing-masing kitab tersebut. Keduanya merupakan kitab karya kiai pesantren pesisir pantai utara yang cukup produktif dalam menghasilkan kitab kuning khas pesantren.

Abstract

The concept of this study examines the Synergy of Pondok Pesantren's Role on the Improvement of Human Development Index (IPM) in Indonesia. Calculation of HDI standard include life expectancy, education level and standard of living of a region is in accordance with national standardization. This research is a qualitative research to collect data relating to the construction of conceptual thinking of the researcher is how the components, ways to overcome and what strategy will be done by PP to increase HDI in certain area that become its territory. Based on the data obtained the level of HDI in Indonesia is still low, this is due to the community's response to development is still not maximal, therefore the Government to further increase the HDI in the region, it is necessary cooperation with Pondok pesantren. Surely the role of this PP will have a positive impact on the increase of HDI in the region and become a reference for the stakeholders to utilize and increase the HDI in the region through boarding school. Broadly speaking, HDI will increase if education, health and other areas, there is a response from the community and contribute to the community. This opportunity will provide added value to the increase of HDI through the role of Pondok Pesantren.

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama is an Islamic-nationalist organization that has many important roles in achieving Indonesian independence. One of the contributions of this organization is present in Jihad Resolution. Jihad resolution was born as an answer to the uncertainty that hit the Indonesian leaders in facing the invaders. Through Jihad Resolution, the santri and freedom fighters succeeded in defeating Allied forces from Indonesia. Jihad resolutions which generally contain two categories of jihad. First, fardhu ‘ain it is for everyone who is within a 94 km radius of the epicenter of occupation of the invaders. Second, fardlu kifayah for residents who are outside the radius.  However, under certain conditions and emergencies, the status can be increased to fardhu ‘ain. Jihad resolution is considered as a strategic decision and of great value in providing moral support to the nation's leaders and igniting the patriotism of the santri, the people and the ulama in the physical revolution against the invaders. The clerics left the pesantren, leading the resistance to the last drop and gave command in front of the santri. Jihad Resolution is a manifesto of the nationalism of Indonesian clerics and clerics in upholding the building of Indonesian independence that the nation's founding fathers have just built. The existence of this fatwa signifies how kyai and santri not only understand religious issues, but also master national problems and play an active role in providing strategic solutions to existing problems. There are two strategic impacts on the resolution of jihad for the life of the nation and state. First, affirming the sovereignty of Indonesia as an independent nation from all forms of invaders in the Indonesian homeland. Second, united the unity of the warriors in a row to win independence and in the future gave birth to the Indonesian National Army.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the efforts made by BMT NU Besuki Branch in building Customer Loyalty through Qadhru Hasan. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The data collection technique is done through participant observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was carried out through the stages of data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. The results showed that Qadhru Hasan in building customer loyalty at BMT NU Besuki Branch through a mature strategy and paying attention to technological advances to excel in the competition and increase customer loyalty, including present a gift for customers, customer service oriented to customer satisfaction, and visiting customers. This research has implications for the importance of building excellent service for an organization, both services and business heads of customers, to be able to provide satisfaction for them
