Pekodimas: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by program studi pendidikan ekonomi univeristas pamulang. This journal covers some general problems from the results of research implemented to the community. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of service to the community. It focuses on publishing articles on the results of community service activities in any form, whether in the form of products or in the form of modules and methods. This journal holds publications from all major in science, the fields of education, arts and humanities, economic and social sciences. ISSN 2797-345X (PRINT), ISSN 2828-2744 (ONLINE) Pekodimas: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat has been publishing the articles since January 2021 precisely since the release of Volume 1, Number 1, 2021. Every submitted manuscript will be read by the editorial team. Manuscripts that are evaluated by editors and deemed not in accordance with criteria of journal will be rejected without external review. Then, a manuscript that has a special interest to readers is sent to peer reviewers, with two (2) different reviewers for each article by using the double blind system. After reviewing the manuscript, it will be returned to the author for revision process. In this journal, we have twenty (20) reviewers. The editorial team makes decisions based on reviewers’ recommendation. Pekodimas: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is published twice a year, in January and July. The Editorial Board invites the authors to submit the best manuscripts to be published in this journal.

Abstract

Character education plays an essential role in shaping students’ personalities by fostering moral values, ethics, and social responsibility. Nevertheless, its implementation in schools is often still conceptual and has not been fully integrated into technology-based learning. This article aims to describe the development of an integrated character education model through a Deep Learning approach as an innovative learning strategy at SMA Negeri 2 South Tangerang City. This approach combines the use of artificial intelligence technology with a deep learning approach implemented through project-based learning oriented toward solving real-world problems. The program activities include teacher training, classroom implementation of the learning model, and evaluation of its impact on learning quality and student behavior. It is expected that this program will produce a character education model that is responsive to the digital era, enhances the quality of the teaching and learning process, and instills values of discipline, cooperation, honesty, and responsibility in students. Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the employability skills of SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Ciputat students through competency certification assistance. The implementation method includes competency certification socialization, competency test preparation assistance, assessment simulations, and evaluation of the activity implementation. The target of the activity is SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Ciputat students in their final year. The results of the activity indicate an increase in students' understanding of the importance of competency certification, an increase in technical and non-technical competencies, and an increase in students' motivation and confidence in facing the world of work. In addition, students demonstrated better preparedness in participating in the competency certification process. This activity also strengthens the synergy between schools and universities in efforts to develop student competencies. Thus, competency certification assistance can be an effective strategy in improving the employability skills of high school students and can be used as a model for developing similar programs in other high schools. Abstract

This training program is designed to enhance the digital competency of teachers at SMPN 20 Dumai, specifically focusing on the integration of Canva into the teaching and learning process. This initiative is driven by the urgent need for high-quality, interactive, and visually appealing instructional media that meets the demands of modern digital education. The program will be held over three days, from October 20 to 22, 2025. Given the geographical distance, the training will be conducted virtually via Zoom. The facilitating team consists of three lecturers from the Economic Education Study Program at Universitas Pamulang, supported by two students.The training methodology follows a structured approach, combining theoretical lectures, step-by-step demonstrations, and hands-on workshops. Participants will first explore the importance of visual media in education before moving into practical sessions where they learn to use Canva’s features to create presentations, infographics, and posters. To ensure every teacher masters the material, the program includes dedicated Q&A and discussion sessions, providing personalized guidance as they complete their creative projects. Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance students’ entrepreneurial capacity through innovation based on the utilization of the environment at SMK Triguna Utama. The program is motivated by students’ low skills in developing creative business ideas and the suboptimal use of the surrounding school environment as a source of product innovation. The PKM implementation methods included socialization, interactive training, hands-on practice, and outcome evaluation. Students were trained to identify business opportunities from waste materials, design creative products, and understand the basics of simple business management. The results showed that students were able to produce various recycled products, such as crafts made from plastic bottles and used paper that have market value. In addition, the activities fostered entrepreneurial motivation, increased creativity, and built awareness of the importance of environmental conservation. Overall, this PKM activity had a positive impact on improving students’ entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The program serves as tangible evidence of synergy between higher education institutions and vocational high schools in supporting environmentally based entrepreneurship education. Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) project aims to implement the findings of a research study titled "The Impact of Accreditation in Improving the Management Quality of the DINA Vocational Training Center (LPK) Depok." One of the key findings indicated that while the quality of graduates is already commendable, there is a significant lack of interest in entrepreneurship. This condition is inconsistent with the objectives of government-funded training grants provided through the Department of Education and Culture. Independent entrepreneurship is the primary target of the Beauty Cosmetology training at LKP DINA, which is designed to foster independent family economic welfare. Theoretical studies suggest that one way to enhance skills and self-confidence in learning is by applying the "learning by doing" method—a learning approach characterized by direct demonstration and practice. The objective of this PKM is to improve the entrepreneurial skills and self-confidence of LKP DINA Depok participants through the implementation of the "learning by doing" method. The program targets 20 participants, with the goal of increasing their competence and confidence to pursue independent entrepreneurship.
