Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dengan dipengaruhi the americanization membawa dampak perubahaan kampanye politik digital yang menggunakan media sosial sebagai medium. Kemunculan istilah citizen marketer atau pemasar warga melahirkan strategi baru yaitu token untuk meraih simpati dan mempengaruhi pengguna media digital dan media sosial yang didominasi generasi muda. Tulisan ini mengambil kasus label gemoy yang menempel pada calon presiden Prabowo Subianto dalam pemilihan presiden 2024 yang relevan sebagai contoh kasus dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi yaitu melakukan kajian literatur pada kata kunci pemasar warga, token politik, kampanye digital dan the americanization. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa token politik adalah perkembangan dari kampanye digital yang banyak dipengaruhi the americanization di era postmodern dan mengarah pada kampanye neoliberalsime yang mengedepankan politik sebagai marketing. Pengaruh the americanization juga menyebar di beberapa negara asia yang menghasilkan kampanye yang fokus pada perolehan angka suara dibanding perdebatan program yang ditawarkan. Gaya kampanye juga banyak bergeser dari kegiatan pengumpulan massa menjadi pidato yang tersebar melalui teknologi dengan penyebaran dari mulut ke mulut. Target juga banyak menyasar anak muda sebagai pemilik multi talenta di media digital maka tak heran para kandidat mengubah citra agak lebih diterima pengguna media digital terutama media sosial.   Kata Kunci :  Pemasar Warga, Token Politik,  Kampanye Digital,  The Americanization

Abstract

LGBT issues have become a global conversation, spreading through a series of pro-LGBT movements that have been around for a long time. This study aims and focuses on analyzing the communication network of LGBT people in Makassar City by using the Blued application and its connection through Twitter. This study uses the interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) approach to see the conditions in the field and uses social network analysis (SNA) to see the relationships generated in Blued social media and Twitter about LGBT using the keywords LGBT Makassar, Gay Makassar, Blued Makassar. The use of this approach is expected to be able to explore and examine more deeply about LGBT, especially in Makassar City through Twitter and the Blued application. The results of the research using Blued as a live streaming and entertainment media are the same as its peers such as Tiktok and Bigo Live, but Blued is more intended for LGBT people where they can chat via chat, live broadcast, and others, there are even rankings and celebrity levels in the application, while social network analysis shows nodes 253, edges 345, degree 1. 364, diameter 2, average path length 1.295. while degree centrality analysis 61, betweenness centrality 0.000435, 1.0, eigenvector centrality 1.0. Abstract

The words gender and sex may already be familiar to the public. But most people still often misinterpret gender as sex. Which  two very different meanings. Gender is part of the characteristics or values given by society to display different roles, traits, characters, characteristics and certain functions for men and women. Because of this, gender is considered to be inseparable from the formations and results of social construction. That men must appear and be like men who have been determined and known by society for generations, and vice versa for women. Then this gave birth to gender inequality which led to unfair treatment, compartmentalization, problems of violence, and gave rise to distinctions and social barriers between something considered normal and abnormal (deviation). The influence of the mass media has also become one of the agents in forming social construction and gender stereotypes. The presence of the internet is like being a brain that carries a variety of messages and becomes an information center with various forms of media in the form of text, audio and video. Netflix is a form of new media which is an entertainment service in the form of a streaming website and has applications on digital devices such as laptops, tablets and smartphones. Then based on the matters that have been described, this topic becomes a research to be discussed and studied. The issues that are the main focus of this research are the concepts of gender and sex, social construction of gender stereotypes and problems for men in dealing with stereotypes that cause gender bias.  Keywords : Representation Gender Stereotypes Gender Bias Masculinity  Series Heartstopper

Abstract

This study aims to identify the efforts that can be undertaken by regional and village authorities to enhance innovations in West Sumbawa Regency. The research method used is qualitative-descriptive, employing observation, interviews, and literature study as data collection methods. Interviews were conducted with key informants who are knowledgeable about innovation developments in West Sumbawa Regency. The results of this study indicate that West Sumbawa Regency has significant innovation potential. However, existing innovations are still scattered, and efforts are needed to create an innovation ecosystem. By implementing several strategic steps based on good governance, an innovation ecosystem can be created to accelerate the enhancement of innovations. Another finding of this research explains the need for an innovation center that connects all ideas and concepts from innovators in West Sumbawa Regency. This step is considered to facilitate the community in building interconnected innovation networks. Therefore, through efforts such as village potential analysis, one village-one product initiatives, and innovation month, it is expected that the existing innovations in West Sumbawa Regency can be improved.  Keywords: Regional innovation, West Sumbawa Regency, Innovation Ecosystem

Abstract

Keberhasilan pemilihan Kepala Desa Puntik Dalam di Kecamatan Mandastana Kabupaten Barito Kuala secara langsung terkait dengan tingkat partisipasi politik masyarakat menjelang pemilihan. Cara baru pemilihan kepala desa membutuhkan semacam pemikiran berupa kedewasaan masyarakat dalam menilai dan menangani aturan kebijakan. Perlunya Strategi Komunikasi yang tepat untuk menentukan apakah kualitas pelaksanaan Pilkades merupakan hal krusial karena Pilkades dilaksanakan sekaligus sehingga membutuhkan mobilisasi sumber daya yang cepat seperti uang, tenaga kerja, dan peralatan yang tepat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Puntik Dalam memiliki tingkat pengetahuan politik yang lebih tinggi pada saat pemilihan kepala desa dibandingkan sebelumnya. Ada 55% warga yang terlibat dalam masyarakat pada tahun 2021, namun pada tahun 2022, jumlah tersebut meningkat menjadi 75%. Pemilihan kepala desa menunjukkan lebih sedikit kecurangan, lebih banyak partisipasi masyarakat, dan penghitungan suara lebih mudah. Agar lebih banyak masyarakat yang terlibat dalam pemilihan Kepala Desa melalui penggunaan teknologi E-voting pada masyarakat yang secara tradisional cenderung apatis terhadap hal tersebut. Selanjutnya, kepercayaan pada pemerintah merupakan indikator kuat keterlibatan masyarakat. Jika warga kurang percaya pada pimpinan mereka, mereka akan cenderung tidak memilih atau berpartisipasi dalam politik lokal. Kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kinerja pemerintah desa, kepala desa, dan pemerintah desa berkorelasi positif dengan partisipasi pemilih dalam pemilihan kepala desa memerlukan Strategi Komunikasi yang tepat guna dan efektif di era digital informasi saat ini. Abstract

Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the condition of online news publisher industry both in term of economic and existence. The aim of this research is  to find out the condition of social media communication strategy KapanLagi Youniverse as a media group in Indonesia for strengthening brand equity. The theoretical foundation of this research is using the Circular Model of SoMe for Social Communications and Brand Equity’s dimension Theory. The research method that will be used in this research is qualitative research with the design of a study case, which the data collected by interview and observation. The result of this research shows that in the pandemic situation KapanLagi Youniverse (KLY) could rise through strengthening their existence as a media group in Indonesia. Social media communication strategy of KapanLagi Youniverse uses the aspect of share (cross platform social media and type of content), optimize (PESO model), manage (media monitoring and user experience), and engage (interactivity and media community approach) in strengthening brand equity.  Keywords: Social Media Communication Strategy, Online News Publisher Industry, Brand Equity, Pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the framing of news about riots and ethnic discrimination in Papua on online media Tirto.id. This research uses a qualitative method with Robert Entman's media framing theory which formulates framing from four framing models, namely, Define Problems, where this relates to how the issue can occur. Second, Diagnose Causes, which is related to what causes the issue to emerge. Third, Make a Moral Judgment, which is related to the moral values contained in the issue. Fourth, Treatment Recommendation, which is related to problem-solving or recommendations on the issue. The results showed (Define Problem) defining the problem of riots and discrimination reported by Tirto.id related to riots in Papua as a humanitarian problem. As previously known, the protests that caused riots in Papua were a form of anger from the Papuan people over the events that occurred in Surabaya. (Diagnose causes) reported by Tirto.id is the alleged acts of racism, discrimination, and intimidation committed by unscrupulous mass organizations and unscrupulous officers against Papuan students in Surabaya. In addition, acts of racism and discrimination committed by unscrupulous mass organizations and unscrupulous officials against Papuan students in Surabaya and Malang are behaviors that should be resolved and stopped. Tirto.id's moral judgment (Make moral judgment) is that the riots and discrimination in Papua should be resolved by the government with an emotional approach. (Treatment Recommendation) Tirto.id emphasizes that the government must learn from history regarding solving problems in Papua. Tirto.id emphasizes that solving the problem of riots in Papua should be done with a Social, Political, and Cultural approach. Abstract

The well-planned development of a religious tourism attraction not only provides economic benefits that improve the standard, quality and lifestyle of local communities but also improves and maintains a good environment. However, it needs to be realized that there is a need for calibration and ideas regarding strategies for developing religious tourism in South Kalimantan. The aim of this research is to increase and improve knowledge regarding development strategies in the government sector that can be used by religious tourism-based tourist attractions as well as practical references to improve development and management of innovative and technology-based religious tourist attractions in South Kalimantan. The research results show that a sustainable tourism strategy implemented by the government really needs full support and participation from the existing community. In the end, it is hoped that a religious tourism climate that is conducive to the growth and development of tourism in South Kalimantan will be created that is competitive in Indonesia and even at the international level. This can be started by using technology and Big Data so that one tourist attraction can be connected to another tourist attraction, both website-based and application-based with collaboration between the Regional Government and related departments, such as the Communication and Information Service and related agencies.
