Abstract

As Financial Planner, women have a challenging task, as managing family finances is akin to regulating the heartbeat of married life, making financial literacy and management essential skills to possess. This research examines the role of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in educating aid recipients regarding financial management, focusing on female PKH aid recipients who must actively seek livelihoods. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study methodology. The research findings highlight the vital role of PKH in enhancing beneficiaries' financial management literacy, aligning with Islamic economics principles. It is evident in all informants demonstrating financial management practices adhering to Islamic economic principles. It includes using money, budgeting, setting aside emergency/savings funds investments, and managing credit/debt. These findings serve as a crucial reference for PKH support. Recommendations for future research include exploring the differences in financial management between active and non-working PKH aid recipients.

Abstract

The plight of refugees and asylum seekers has been a global issue of critical importance for social workers in Indonesia. At the end of February 2018, the public was overwhelmed by mass media coverage of the large number of refugees living on the streets in front of the Immigration Office in Jakarta. In fact, many of the difficulties experienced by them in Indonesia, such as legal status, poor detention and others. Their existence needs to be noticed by the government and be a very important concern for social workers in Indonesia. Social workers are often compromised in working with refugees and asylum seekers to successful social functioning. This paper presents mixed methodology through individual interviews and an exploratory study in which social workers play a pivotal role in responding to the issues as well as potential way for being supporting document for Indonesian government to ratify the 1951 Refugee Convention. Abstract

Since its founding by KH. Ahmad Dahlan to the present day, Muhammadiyah has played a central role in developing educational concepts, overcoming various historical challenges such as illiteracy and the colonial era, and continuously improving education standards while empowering communities. This research aims to describe Muhammadiyah's Educational Philosophy, Muhammadiyah's Educational History, Muhammadiyah's Struggle and Efforts in the Field of Education, as well as Muhammadiyah's Contribution to National Education. Through a literature review method, this study reveals how Muhammadiyah, as the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, undertakes tajdid and ijtihad in developing education based on Islamic teachings to achieve the goal of creating an Islamic society in line with religious values. Muhammadiyah's educational philosophy emphasizes the harmony between religious and general knowledge, integrating various aspects of life. As a pioneer of Islamic educational reform, Muhammadiyah also plays a strategic role in raising national awareness and spreading modern knowledge in society, building a just, empowered, and morally upright community in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This article discusses the statutory provisions that regulate the requirements for polygamy permits intended to create public order, provide legal protection and guarantees for rights and obligations arising from legal relationships in terms of how important it is to obtain court permission for polygamy, formally the urgency of granting polygamy permits must be realized. Legal certainty, order, protection, and legal guarantees for marriage itself. Polygamy permit provisions are implemented to protect the interests, rights, and obligations arising from a marriage. The method used in this research is qualitative, with data collection techniques carried out through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of written documents. The results of this research show that the granting of the request for a polygamy permit was also due to the applicant's economic capabilities and the willingness and encouragement of the first wife for her husband to carry out polygamy. Thus, there would be no dharar that would be affected by the first wife, so granting the request for a polygamy permit is believed to be able to achieve benefits for all parties involved in the marriage so that the purpose of marriage, as in the provisions of Article 3 of the Compilation of Islamic Law is to create a household life in which Sakinah, mawaddah, and warahmah can be realized. So, it can be concluded that the decision of the Tolitoli Religious Court case number 318/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Tli is still in line with the maqashid as-shari'ah according to as-syatibi, namely protecting religion, soul, mind, property, and lineage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication privacy management employed by adolescents who have experienced cyberbullying to protect themselves on Twitter (X). The theoretical framework used is Communication Privacy Management with a focus on interpersonal communication concepts. The research method applied in this thesis is qualitative, using a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted online. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with informants and observations of their Twitter (X) accounts, while secondary data were gathered from books, journals, articles, and websites. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of four adolescents who were victims of cyberbullying on Twitter (X). The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis method. This research analyzes the application of communication privacy management among adolescents who are victims of cyberbullying, using five key principles: (a) ownership of private information, (b) control of private information, (c) privacy rules, (d) shared ownership and guardianship of private information, and (e) boundary turbulence of private information. The results of this study indicate that out of the five principles of communication privacy management, two principles are more frequently utilized by adolescents to manage their communication privacy and protect themselves on Twitter (X): Control of Private Information and Privacy Rules, through actions such as locking their accounts, disabling Direct Message (DM) access, and limiting comments on their posts.  Keywords: Communication Privacy Management; Cyberbullying; Adolescent; Twitter (X)

Abstract

Small and medium industries (IKM) are business units that are classified as small and medium, playing an important role in a country's economy, especially in increasing employment opportunities, increasing people's income, and supporting local economic growth. Therefore, to increase the awareness of the Lappae Village community in increasing income, we held a seminar on the use of natural resources in improving the village economy through middle class industries (IKM). Based on the results of the implementation of activities, it is known that (1) the Lappae Village community has become more aware of the importance of utilizing the potential of local natural resources, (2) the community has gained knowledge and skills in developing small and medium businesses based on the village's natural potential

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode klasifikasi tingkat aroma pada daun jeruk menggunakan citra daun sebagai input. Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari 300 lembar daun jeruk yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelas aroma: kuat, sedang, dan rendah. Proses klasifikasi melibatkan tahap preprocessing, ekstraksi fitur, pelatihan model menggunakan Jaringan Saraf Tiruan (JST), dan pengujian model. Tahap preprocessing mencakup ekstraksi channel warna dan segmentasi citra. Fitur-fitur warna dan tekstur diekstraksi untuk digunakan dalam pelatihan model JST. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan fitur warna RGB memberikan akurasi pelatihan sebesar 91,25% dengan waktu komputasi 5,79 detik per citra, dan akurasi pengujian mencapai 100% dengan waktu komputasi 7,76 detik per citra. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode klasifikasi yang dikembangkan mampu dengan baik dalam menentukan tingkat aroma daun jeruk. Namun, dalam penelitian ini kami menyarankan perbaikan pada proses akuisisi citra dan pengembangan metode klasifikasi tambahan untuk meningkatkan keakuratan dalam menentukan tingkat aroma daun jeruk.

Abstract

Public awareness and concern for waste is still very minimal, with this activity it is possible to increase public awareness of waste. To realize this goal, education and implementation of management in handling waste wisely are carried out. The aim is to reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment and public health. This activity focuses on implementation by providing education on 3R-based waste management (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of marketing communication and price on purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar. And to analyze which variable has a more dominant influence on purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar. This research was conducted in Makassar city with a sample size of 383 respondents. The data analysis used is descriptive to explain the research data. Meanwhile, to analyze quantitative data, multiple linear regression analysis was used with the SPSS version 27 program. The results showed that marketing communication and price simultaneously influenced purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar, with a coefficient of determination R square of 83.2%, and the remaining 16.8% was influenced by other variables outside this study. Partially, the marketing communication and price variables have a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar. This study also shows that the price variable is the most dominant factor in influencing purchasing decisions at PT Warna Abadi Mitra Bersama Makassar with a t-value of 23.553> t-table 1.966.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Santri City branding in Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi, as part of a strategic effort to shape the region’s image. The research aims to analyze how city branding constructs Wajo Regency’s identity and its impact on public perception, particularly in relation to religious education. Employing a qualitative descriptive analysis, this study explores the conceptualization of Wajo Regency as a brand, considering its multidimensional nature, which includes functional, emotional, relational, and strategic elements. The findings reveal that the Santri City branding effectively enhances the recognition of Wajo Regency as an Islamic educational hub. This strengthened identity influences the decisions of surrounding communities in seeking religious education. Theoretically, this study contributes to the discourse on city branding by highlighting the role of religious identity in shaping regional branding strategies.
