Abstract

Abstract: The conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic have affected almost all aspects of human life. Primary school children's education is one of the sectors that has been badly affected by this pandemic. The learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic is listed in the Circular of the Ministry of Education and Culture Number 4 of 2020 concerning Implementation of Education Policies in an Emergency for the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) regarding Guidelines for Implementing Learning from Home (BDR) during the Covid 19 Emergency Implementation of learning from home (BDR) is learning that is followed by students from home at the hours determined by the Madrasah and at hours outside of that to do assignments. The problems that you want to find answers to through this research are: 1. How was the learning process from home (BDR) during the Covid-19 pandemic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Sidowungu? and 2. What were the obstacles in the learning process from home (BDR) during the Covid-19 pandemic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Sidowungu? This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques using interview methods, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the theory in Sugiono's book, testing the validity of the data by triangulation and includes references. The results show that the Learning From Home process during the pandemic runs according to the circular of the Ministry of Education and Culture Number 4 of 2020 and the circular of the Ministry of Religion, Gresik district. While the obstacles faced in the Learning From Home process during the pandemic have solutions to solve them.

Abstract

Abstract:. Thematic learning requires teachers who are broad minded, have high creativity, reliable methodological skills, high self-confidence, and the courage to package and develop material. Such demands aim that teachers are able to position themselves according to the times and the learning needs of students in the teaching and learning process. During the Covid-19 pandemic, when online learning, teachers could use various kind of social media as a medium learning. By utilizing various social media, it is hoped that teaching and learning activities will continue as usual, even though teachers and students cannot meet face to face directly. Teachers can take advantage of Youtube social media as a learning medium by creating content that contains learning according to basic competencies. The formulation of the problem in this study how to use Youtube social media in class 2 thematic learning during the pandemic, to analyse what supporting and inhibiting factors for teachers in using Youtube media in grade 2 thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that teacher in utilizing Youtube in grade 2 thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic went through several prosesses ranging from planning to evalution. The teacher becomes a Youtuber by creating learning video content which is then shared by students via a link sent to the class WhatsApp group. Supporting factors are smooth internet access, learning motivation in students, good communication between teachers, students and pupils so that there is no miss of communication during online learning while the inhibiting factors are constrained by poor internet access, teacher limitations in the ability to use techonology, and back of student understanding because of its limitations.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome obstacles in the fourth grade social studies learning activities of SD Khazanah Ilmu using learning while playing. Through the method of learning while playing, educators and students can be actively involved with each other. Educators act as facilitators or who facilitate ongoing learning so that students get real and authentic social studies learning experiences. Obstacles in social studies learning activities for class IV SD Khazanah Ilmu are in the form of difficulties experienced by educators and students of education in implementing social studies learning activities. Therefore, this learning while playing method is adapted to the social studies learning material. So, the games used vary according to the material to be studied. Games that are adapted to the material will make it easier for students to understand social studies learning material, and there is no one game that can be used for all social studies learning material. In overcoming obstacles, social studies learning activities in Class IV SD Khazanah Ilmu can be done by applying learning while playing methods. Methods of role playing, playing puzzles, monopoly games, and traditional games of crank can be applied to social studies learning activities to replace lecture methods that are less effective but are still frequently used today. Through the application of this method, students can be more motivated to learn, practice communication, cooperation, and be responsible for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the student’s achievement through the application of the STAD cooperative learning model. This is a classroom action research (CAR) which is according to Sanjaya; this research was conducted in two cycles, which included four stages: planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The sample of this research is the fourth grade students of SD Dwijendra which consist of 35 students; 15 male and 20 female. The data of student learning achievement were collected by means of learning achievement tests which then analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis. The research results shows an improvement in the percentage of student learning achievement by 11.14% from 69.14% in cycle 1 with moderate criteria to 80.28% in cycle II with high criteria. Pre-cycle classical completeness of 28.57% increased by 45.71% to 74.28% in cycle I increased again by 11.29% to 85.57% in cycle II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model can improve the learning achievement of the fourth grade students of SD Dwijendra Denpasar.

Abstract

This research was to find out the relationship between reading interest and Indonesian learning outcomes of grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Lepar Pongok in the academic year 2019/2020 which aimed to find out and to describe whether there is a relationship between reading interest and the students' learning outcomes in Indonesian. This type of research is a correlation research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was the grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Lepar Pongok, consist of 20 students and the entire population was sampled of the research. The techniques of collecting the datain this study were a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements with the data analysis techniques using the product moment formula. Based on the calculation and the analysis of the data obtained by rcount of 0.946 and rtable of 0.444 so that Ha accepted. It can be conclude that there is a relationship between reading interest with learning outcomes of Indonesian for grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Lepar Pongok. The higher of the students’ interest in reading, the higher of the students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the application of character education to students of SDN Taman 01 Madiun City. This research was conducted during the Covid-19 pandemic. This indicator is a form of character education while studying at home carried out by students starting from maintaining the cleanliness of themselves, the environment, society and applying it in everyday life. Data were collected by observation and interviews and through social media. The sources of this research are educators, students, teachers and parents. The results show that the application of character education is not only in learning but the real practice carried out by students such as caring for the environment, creative character and innovation, responsibility and social. Students who have the character of caring for the environment by participating in maintaining a clean environment by inviting others to always obey environmental health protocols.

Abstract

Abstract:. This study aims to improve students' understanding of learning materials and improve student learning outcomes and student learning activities. The problem solving method in this research is by applying the cooperative learning model of the think pair share type. The results of the study were: 1) Student learning outcomes by applying the TPS type cooperative learning model in the first cycle showed 6 students completed individually, while the class did not complete. In cycle II shows 13 students complete individually and classically complete class with an average cycle I and cycle II are 66.67 and 81.33 with the percentage of classical completeness is 40% in cycle I and 87% in cycle II. The completeness that occurs in cycle I and cycle II is clearly visible in grade III students when student learning is active and students understand the material presented by the researcher so that when the researcher gives formative questions the students are able to answer the questions correctly. Likewise with affective and psychomotor students who have increased. The completeness of the learning outcomes obtained by students was clearly visible when the students in the group discussion were very active and worked on the assignments given by the teacher enthusiastically. This shows that students are getting used to the application of the TPS learning model so that during the learning process students appear active and excited.

Abstract

Abstract: The low discipline of students is the concern of educators. Outside of learning, there are many students who arrive late at school, skipping school, this also happens in learning, namely there are students who are lazy to follow the teaching and learning process in class. In addition, students often leave the ongoing teaching and learning process, make noise in class, and do not do the teacher's orders in class such as doing exercises and writing notes. The two conditions above also occur in counseling activities, namely; there are students who argue that the teacher is not pleasant, students are not enthusiastic about going to school, there are students who reason that they are forced by their parents to go to school, students like to steal attention, and the presence of students disturbs their friends while studying. Some even fight when learning. This indicates a lack of motivation to learn. Based on the description above, the researcher intends to conduct research on the effect of mental health, learning motivation, and learning discipline on student achievement at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Salafiyah Bahauddin Tamanpanjang Sidoarjo. In connection with the identification of the problems above, it is clear that the problems related to the research topic are very broad. However, due to time, energy and cost limitations, this research is focused on discussing the effects of mental health, learning motivation, and learning discipline on student achievement at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Salafiyah Bahauddin Tamanpanjang Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Abstract:. Student learning outcomes themselves are heavily influenced by several factors, one of which is external factors in the form of the social environment and parental education standards on social studies learning outcomes for students in grades IV and V MIN I Gresik. The research subjects involved in this study amounted to 111 students. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive correlation between the social environment and the educational strata of parents on the social studies learning outcomes of students at MIN I Gresik, the correlation is large in the social environment, the strata of parental education affects students' social studies learning outcomes by 21.9%, meaning that the social environment , the educational strata of parents in the good category.

Abstract

In general the teacher can be interpreted as a person who has the responsibility to educate. In particular, the teacher can be defined as a person who is responsible for the development of students by seeking the development of all their potential, both affective, cognitive, and psychomotor potential. The word professional is related to a profession or requires special skills to run it. Teachers are born or exist since humans themselves exist, because once humans are born into the world, the actual educational process has occurred. Teachers are believed to be one of the dominant factors that determine the success of an education, therefore teachers must have characteristics as a professional. These characteristics include obeying laws and regulations, maintaining and improving professional organizations, maintaining relationships with colleagues, guiding students, obeying leaders, having a commitment to professionalism, and creating a good atmosphere in the workplace.
