Abstract

Providing clean water is an effort to meet the community’s need for clean water, which is a basic need for the community. Providing clean water is carried out in various ways, such as drinking water supply systems (SPAM), regional drinking water companies (PDAM) and construction of water strage tanks. Water supply clean water is carried out, namely by building a system of water storage tanks for community ablutions. There is also a goal of providing clean water, namely to improve the level of community health. In providing clean water, students have a work program to fulfill the results or value of KKN. Therefore, in order to manage development As the provision of clean water becomes more well planned, a database is needed that accommodates information regarding the availability of clean water in a location. Nagari atan Korong which can then be developed by Ekasakti University KKN-PPM Students 2024.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting the national economy, but most home-based micro MSMEs still face limitations in utilizing digital technology and understanding business legal aspects. This condition results in low competitiveness and weak business identities amidst the development of the digital economy. This Community Service activity aims to increase the capacity of MSMEs through training on digitalizing business profiles integrated with legal education as part of MSME empowerment efforts. The activity was carried out at the Madrasah Tarbiyah Islamiyah (MTI) in Indarung Village, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City, targeting home-based micro MSMEs, especially women. The implementation method included socialization, practical training on creating digital business profiles using mobile devices, mentoring, and discussions on the importance of business identity and legal protection in carrying out business activities. This activity was carried out collaboratively by involving academics from the Legal Studies Program of ITS Khatulistiwa, STIE Perdagangan Padang, and Ekasakti University. The results of the activity demonstrated improved understanding and skills among participants in developing more engaging and informative digital business profiles, as well as heightened legal awareness regarding the importance of legality and business identity. This activity is expected to serve as a model for sustainable collaborative service in supporting the strengthening of digital and legal-based MSMEs.

Abstract

Nutritional needs of children are the amount and type of nutrients needed to support the physical and mental growth and development of children aged 1-5 years. These needs include carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals, all of which contribute to optimal health, a strong immune system, and cognitive development. One form of complementary food is food derived from seafood sales leftovers, which can still be reprocessed into nutritious foods. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between providing additional food from processed seafood as an improvement in nutritional intake and preventing growth retardation in children in the Nelayan Indah Village, Medan City. The research method used a quantitative correlational approach with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample was 76 mothers with children aged 1-5 years in the Nelayan Indah Village, Medan City. The research data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate tests with p-values to see the relationship between the studied variables, using SPSS version 24 for Windows. The study found that consuming seafood supplements had a 54.7% effect, improving nutritional intake had a 50.6% effect, and socioeconomic conditions had a 53.4% effect on the incidence of growth faltering in children aged 1-3 years. The study recommended that village governments conduct outreach and training on making healthy seafood-based foods.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kemampuan akademik dan non-akademik peserta didik. Salah satu upaya pengembangan potensi non-akademik siswa sekolah dasar adalah melalui kegiatan Festival Lomba Seni dan Sastra Siswa Nasional (FLS3N). Namun, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia (SDM) pendidik di SDN 2 Kesamben, Dusun Talun, menyebabkan kurang optimalnya pendampingan bagi siswa yang akan mengikuti FLS3N. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan dan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui program pendampingan lomba FLS3N yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Kelompok 4 Arkatama Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Wisnuwardhana Malang. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, perencanaan program, pelaksanaan pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Pendampingan dilakukan melalui latihan materi lomba, pembinaan teknik, serta penguatan mental tampil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi lomba, kemampuan teknik penampilan, serta kepercayaan diri siswa. Dengan demikian, program pendampingan FLS3N ini dapat menjadi solusi alternatif dalam mengatasi keterbatasan SDM pendidik sekaligus mendukung pengembangan potensi non-akademik siswa sekolah dasar

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pemasaran UMKM melalui strategi branding produk pada UMKM Keripik Singkong Pak Ngateno di Dusun Talun, Desa Kesamben, Kecamatan Ngajum. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah keterbatasan pemahaman mengenai strategi pemasaran digital, belum adanya identitas usaha yang kuat, serta minimnya media promosi. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui observasi, wawancara, pendampingan, serta implementasi strategi branding berupa pemasangan banner dan plang usaha, pembuatan akun media sosial, serta produksi video promosi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan visibilitas usaha, pemahaman mitra terhadap pentingnya branding, serta peningkatan keterampilan dalam pengemasan dan promosi digital. Luaran kegiatan berupa media branding fisik, akun media sosial aktif, serta video promosi UMKM. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan daya saing UMKM secara berkelanjutan.
