Abstract

The tourism sector is indeed quite promising to help increase foreign exchange reserves and pragmatically also able to increase people's incomes, sustainable tourism development is defined as a tourism development process oriented to the preservation of resources needed for future development where the surrounding community acts as a provider of tourist needs services. Humanitarian factors and local cultural entities should not be ignored, meaning that community life should not be uprooted from its cultural roots only because of the commercial emphasis of tourism, the lifestyle and culture of local communities, so researchers want to see how the role of community and government participation in development tourism as a leading destination and how tourism development is realized as a superior destination.

Abstract

Whey dangke is a waste generated by proses of separation whey and curd during process of making dangke. This study aims to determine whey of dangke used as dairy product, such as sorbetacceptance of the community to taste, aroma, color and texture of milk sorbet from processed whey dangke Enrekang. Population in this research is student of class 4 Polytechnic of Bosowa. The sample in this research is 73 panelists using simple random sampling technique. This type of research is experimental. The analysis in this study is descriptive statistics using the average formula. whey dangke in this experiment researcher use three types of treatment that is at first treatment W100:S0 (100% whey dangke and 0% pure milk), second treatment W75: S25 (75% whey dangke and 25% pure milk ), the third treatment of W50:S50 (50% whey dangke and 50% pure milk). The results showed that whey dangke Enrekang can be processed as sorbet. Hedonic test on milk sorbet product showed that the most preferred taste aspect was the W50:S50 treatment with an average of 3.46%, the most preferred treatment of the texture aspect was the W50: S50 treatment with an average of 3.75 , the most preferred treatment of the color aspect was the W50: S50 treatment with an average of 3.40, and the most preferred treatment of the aroma aspect was the W100:S0 treatment with an average value of 3.77.

Abstract

Kabupaten Sinjai belum memiliki branding khusus pariwisata sehingga dibutuhkan rancangan destination branding yang dapat menjadi alat promosi destinasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengetahui potensi pariwisata Kabupaten Sinjai; 2) untuk mengusulkan konsep perancangan destination branding Kabupaten Sinjai. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran angket (kuesioner) yang dilakukan pada bulan September 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kabupaten Sinjai memiliki potensi wisata alam dan budaya dan dibutuhkan cara untuk memperkenalkan potensi tersebut, salah satunya melalui rancangan branding destinasi. Setelah melakukan beberapa tahapan dalam destination branding, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ikon yang sesuai untuk dijadikan brand pariwisata untuk Kabupaten Sinjai adalah kuda dengan hasil persentase sebesar 72,7% dan keindahan alam yang dimiliki yang mencakup 3 dimensi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya menerapkan rancangan branding yang telah dilakukan hingga tahap interpretasi potensi serta value yang dimiliki Kabupaten Sinjai menjadi suatu brand. Selanjutnya, diharapkan agar melanjutkan ke tahap berikutnya yaitu menggunakan brand yang ada sebagai bahan promosi dan menarik wisatawan melalui brand tersebut. Kajian lanjutan sangat dibutuhkan khususnya yang berkaitan dengan bagaimana implementasi brand destinasi Sinjai yang diusulkan.

Abstract

The existence of the castle or puri as a historical and cultural heritage of traditional Balinese architecture at this time began to fade due to the influence of modernization. Not a few puri in Bali have experienced commodification both in terms of shape, function and meaning. Therefore an effort is needed to maintain the continuity of traditional Balinese architecture in the castle building in the midst of global culture, namely by developing the castle towards special interest tourism which is currently becoming a trend in the tourism world. The purpose of this study is to identify the potential of traditional Balinese architecture in castle buildings as a tourist attraction of special interest in supporting the development of tourism in Bali. This research included descriptive qualitative research conducted for three months at Puri Kaba-Kaba, Tabanan, Bali. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation on traditional Balinese architecture in Puri Kaba-Kaba, in-depth interviews with four informants consisting of castle leaders, tourism conscious groups, and the Head of Kaba-Kaba Village, as well as documentation studies of relevant literature and documents. The results of the study show that Puri Kaba-Kaba still preserves the concept of Sanga Mandala especially in parts of sacred or infused places that contain form, function, and meaning of traditional Balinese architecture that is unique and of historical value so that it has the potential

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Multifungsi Masjid Islamic Center Dato Tiro yaitu dari fungsi ritual ke fungsi wisata di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Masjid Islamic Center Dato Tiro Bulukumba mengalami multi fungsi yaitu fungsi destinasi wisata dan fungsi ritual. Adapun faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya perubahan fungsi Masjid Islamic Center Dato Tiro sebagai destinasi wisata adalah keindahan bentuk dan arsitektur serta akeunikan Masjid menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi masyarakat dan pengunjung yang dating, walaupun kehadiran pengunjung selain beribadha juga untuk mengambil gambar. Melalui Masjid Islamic Center Dato Tiro tersebut Kab. Bulukumba semakin terkenal pada ruang publik dan media sosial. Distinasi wisata Kab. Bulukumba yang terkenal selain kapal pinis juga dikenal Masjid Islamic Center Dato Tiro sebagai tempat ritual keagamaan sekaligus tempat wisata bagi masyarat diberbagai daerah yang lewat jalur Kab. Bulukumba.

Abstract

Lembah Bakkara memiliki potensi wisata alam dan budaya yang beragam, namun belum satupun destinasi Lembah Bakkara masuk dalam paket wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan paket wisata Lembah Bakkara di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan dengan melihat potensi destinasi pariwisata dari perspektif tour operator. Indikator analisis menekankan pada potensi atraksi wisata Lembah Bakkara, fasilitas, aksesibilitas dan paket wisata yang layak jual. Penelitian ini menghasilkan empat temuan penting yaitu 1) potensi atraksi wisata budaya dan alam sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan dan dijual melalui paket wisata; 2) Fasilitas akomodasi, makan dan minum tersedia dan dalam kondisi layak; 3) Akses dari dan menuju Lembah Bakkara sangat mudah dan kondisinya jalan baik dan 4) paket wisata fullday tour dengan durasi 6 – 9 jam.

Abstract

In uncovering female mixologists as actors from the tourism industry, on the basis of the theory of cultural concepts, work ethic, and community views. The work ethic of women to actualize themselves in order to improve the family economy is based on socio-cultural, educational, technological and environmental factors. although the role of women is able to contribute significantly to their own, family and community departments but social views about their profession as mixologists which add a series of stereotypes to women that have a negative impact on female workers including mixologist workers.

Abstract

This paper is to describe and answer the challenges faced by ¬edu-Tourism in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The method used is a qualitative approach using a library research approach, which is focused on making the decision process and analyzing the relationship of dynamic phenomena with scientific logic. The results of this discussion are 1) in the development of tourism, there are several aspects needed to support the development such as physical aspects, aspects of tourism attractiveness, accessibility aspects, aspects of activities and facilities, as well as socio-economic and cultural aspects, 2) the concept of deliberate educational tourism designed specifically to meet the scientific capacity of students to fill national insights with travel activities to recognize the region and the potential of local resources between regions, districts, provinces and inter-islands throughout the country, 3) industry 4.0 implementation can be one of the strategies to create an economy based digital especially in the development of tourism education in accordance with the direction of the road map Making Indonesia 4.0 in an effort to improve the performance of the national industry in the field of tourism, 4) there are five skills that become top in the development of the industrial revolution 4.0. The skills are Cognitive Abilities, System Skills, Complex Problem Solving, Content Skills, and Process Skills. To respond to the future development of the industrial revolution 4.0, a strong commitment is needed.

Abstract

This article discusses the development of tourism with an anthropological approach to tourism in the Marina Pajujukang Bantaeng Beach, South Sulawesi. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Government efforts in developing marina beach tourism are trying to improve the human resources of the village of Baruga by conducting socialization and trying to complete facilities incomplete such as clean water filter (2) Community involvement in tourism development by supporting government programs for the advancement of marina beach tourism objects and participating directly in the development of Marina beach such as being a builder at the beginning of Marina beach construction until the Marina beach is like being security officer, janitor and waitress at a hotel in the Marina beach area. (3) The impacts felt by the community in developing the Marina beach are two, namely in the economic field for example increasing community income, opening new jobs and opening business opportunities for the Baruga village community while in the socio-cultural field there are two impacts namely positive and negative impacts. An example of the positive impact is the increasing public insight about tourist culture through the temporary negative impact that is starting to affect the local community on the culture of tourists who come to visit the Marina beach. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained is then processed using data analysis techniques such as data reduction, data presentation and conclusion making. And also the data validation using Member Check. From the results of research that has been found it seems that every development of tourism needs to be involved by all groups, especially the community, not just prioritizing investors. Because the essence of the success of the trip tour if the surrounding community enjoys economic results.

Abstract

This research aims at 1) analyzing the tourism potential of Kampung Nelayan (Majene Regency) as tourism village; 2) recommending steps or mechanisms to implement Kampung Nelayan as tourism village. This paper employs a qualitative approach to answer research questions through research visit in July and September 2019. The authors collected research data through in-depth interviews and direct observation. The research reveals that Kampung Nelayan has the potential for tourism village based on community empowerment principles. Kampung Nelayan has potential of marine tourism and cultural tourism. The steps to implement Kampung Nelayan as tourism village including 1) identification of members of community under the categories of internal and external community groups; 2) involving the community members in tourism programs and 3) follow up of community collaboration by the internal and external groups of community.
