Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze ambidextrous curriculum management at Nurul Jadid Islamic Education School Jalaluddin Ar-Rumi rigion. To expand the implementation of an ambidextrous curriculum at the Islamic Education School, a qualitative approach and case study methodology are utilized. The research subjects include regional supervisors, administrators, and students involved in curriculum management. Data collection methods involve observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis related to the curriculum. Thematic analysis is employed to identify patterns and themes relevant to the ambidexterity approach. The findings indicate that Nurul Jadid Islamic Education School Jalaluddin Ar-Rumi rigion has successfully integrated traditional values with contemporary curriculum components through an ambidextrous approach. This approach has proven effective in enhancing students' adaptation to technological advancements and modern knowledge while maintaining the Islamic Education Schools identity. It is hoped that this research will serve as a foundation for further development aimed at improving the relevance and effectiveness of Islamic Education Schools in the face of modern educational changes and advancements.

Abstract

Religious character education in schools is part of a program formed by the school to provide guidance for students in behaving and acting in accordance with religious teachings. The purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of the religious character education strengthening program is carried out at the Al - Ulum Private Madrasah in Medan to instill religious character in students. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques derived from observation, field notes and documentation. The results of the study show that in forming and instilling the religious character of students at the Al- Ulum Private Madrasah, Medan, it is carried out through a religious character education strengthening program involving schools and educators. The form of the religious character education strengthening program implemented at the Al - Ulum Private Madrasah is the implementation of tahsin al-Quran before the start of learning activities until the completion of the al-Quran and the habit of praying dhuha on Thursdays and Saturdays, and the implementation of these two programs is structured and routine. The implementation of this religious character education strengthening program has a positive impact on students, namely students become accustomed to reading the Koran and are accustomed to performing the Dhuha prayer every day.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate how information technology-based active learning strategies are implemented in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at the Darurahmah Sepadan Aceh Islamic Boarding School, using a qualitative approach. Descriptive methods are used to explore how information technology, especially visual and audio-visual media, is applied in the learning process and its impact on student engagement and understanding. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and the targets in this research were students, direct observation at the Darurahmah Islamic Boarding School in Sepadan Aceh, as well as analysis of related documents. Research findings show that the application of information technology-based active learning increases student engagement in a more interactive and interesting way. The use of visual and audio-visual media helps students understand Islamic Religious Education material better and relate it to real life contexts. Although this method brings many advantages, such as increasing student motivation and reducing feelings of laziness, this research provides valuable insights for the development of more innovative and effective learning strategies in the context of religious education.

Abstract

Contextual assessment has not been implemented and popularized in educational units. This needs to be studied or researched with the hope that the findings can be actualized both in the world of education and non-education. This study aims to find and analyze the application of contextual assessment in the teaching and learning process both in the classroom and outside the classroom carried out by educators to students in academic settings. The researcher used a case study approach. This approach is one of the qualitative research paradigms. The data collection method uses observation and interview methods. The results of the study indicate that contextual assessment is carried out through two approaches, namely the micro-scale and macro-scale approaches. Micro contextual assessment is oriented towards internal activities, both cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains with different weights for each component so that it can be used as a valid measuring tool to state high, medium, and low values, or very good, good, sufficient, and less good. Macro contextual assessment is oriented towards activities that are carried out consciously by involving other components as part of the weight that is recognized as valid and supportive, and can be accounted for academically. So contextual assessment is an inseparable part in realizing a progressive human life and as proof that humans as creatures of Allah SWT are able to assess and differentiate by using cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains according to their degree and existence as objects of assessment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of the cultum practice learning method on student learning outcomes in the subject of aqidah akhlak. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. This study has a population of 39 people. With a sample of 39 students, the data collection technique in this study used a pre-test and post-test. Based on the results of statistical calculations, this study has a positive relationship between the effect of cultum practice and student learning outcomes in the subject of aqidah akhlak at the Muhammadiyah Sei Apung Jaya Islamic High School.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of the Jarimatika method on the multiplication skills of 2nd-grade students at Banjarbanggi 2 Elementary School. The Jarimatika method is a mathematics teaching technique that uses fingers as aids, making it easier for students to understand multiplication concepts. This research employs a quantitative approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample consists of 16 students, and data were collected through tests. Data analysis included prerequisite tests, such as the normality test, and hypothesis testing using paired sample t-tests with SPSS 24. The normality test prerequisite is considered normal if the sig value is > 0.05. The results indicate that the Jarimatika method has an impact, as evidenced by a significant improvement in students' multiplication skills after being taught using the Jarimatika method, shown by the paired sample t-test result with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. The use of this method has a significant impact, improving the multiplication skills of 2nd-grade students at Banjarbanggi 2 Elementary School. The Jarimatika method can create a more enjoyable learning process and enhance students' arithmetic skills.

Abstract

Reasoning profile is description of the process of logical thinking in solving mathematical problems related to determining a conclusion using the knowledge possessed in the cognitive structure. The indicators used to reveal the profile of reasoning include understanding the problem, making a settlement plan, carrying out the settlement plan, and looking back at the results that have been resolved. Geometry is a part of mathematics that discusses the shape and size of an object that has a certain regularity. Geometry problems are problems in the form of geometry (three dimensions) for which routine procedures are not available for solving. Meanwhile, gender differences affect the reasoning profess in solving geometric problems. This study aims to describe the reasoning profiles of high school students with masculine male and feminine gender in solving geometric problems. This descriptive research with a qualitative approach was carried out in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Sidayu in the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects of this study were two students of class XI who had equal mathematical abilities. Data collection was carried out by in-depth subject interviews based on the Geometry Problem Solving Task. Geometry Problem Solving Tasks in the form of description geometry questions. In collecting data using time triangulation techniques to obtain credible data. Data analysis was carried out by condensing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that masculine male students used logical thinking in solving problems with a more analytical nature in giving appropriate arguments. Whereas feminine women use logical thinking in solving problems but in giving arguments they are less analytical. This shows that the reasoning profile of masculine boys in solving geometry problems is better than feminine girls. Differences in reasoning profiles result in students' abilities in mathematical activities will havetesi an impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Vocational skills as learning to provide provisions that are in accordance with students' abilities. The purpose of this study is to test the influence of the direct instruction model to improve students' vocational skills in SLB-C AKW IISurabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique uses tests. The results in this study showed that the average pretest score of 37.00 increased and the posttest result was 70.00. The results of data analysis show Zh 2.80 and Zt 1.96, then the interpretation is Ha > Ho. So, Ha is accepted, which means that it is evident that there is an influence of the Direct instruction learning model mediated by learning videos to improve vocational.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe experiential learning in learning activities. David A. Kolb's Learning Theory highlights four keys stages: experience, reflection, abstract concepts, and active experimentation. This research is a library research or literature review, primarily focus on collecting and reviewing various previous studies on Kolb's learning theory. The findings indicate that the four stages of experiential learning models can enhance student engagement, deepen understanding of subject matter better, develop critical and creative skills to face future challenges, and foster collaborative work, and it can be effectively implemented at all levels of education. It can be concluded that learning activities using the experiential learning model can encourage student involvement to achieve maximum learning outcomes, and can be used at all levels of education while still paying attention to elements of relevance of the material and learning environment. However, there are still several shortcomings and challenges in applying this theory, particularly in terms of resource readiness.

Abstract

Time management in education is very important so that the goals you want to target can be easily achieved and systematically. If there is no good management, the desired targets will be difficult to achieve. The existence of management makes the learning system more structured. This research aims to find out how the time management program in the Tahfidz Maskanulhuffadz Medan Islamic boarding school is so that it can complete memorizing 30 juz of the Al-Quran in the span of one year. Using a qualitative research approach, this research uses. The research approach taken is a qualitative approach. namely descriptive data in the form of written words taken from Maskanulhuffadz's daily guidebook as well as information obtained from people's words and behavior that can be obtained. The data collection techniques used were through interviews, observation and copying documents. The results of this research explain the good time management of the program which has been prepared and designed to utilize one year's time. Students can complete their memorization quickly and the three year program is compressed into one year.
