Abstract

Adolescent same-sex attraction has led to negative behaviors and challenges among adolescents, particularly in Bulu Village. The emergence of lesbianism in this community indicates a departure from societal norms regarding sexuality, causing intimidation and issues within the local populace. This study concentrates on integrating Islamic values and counseling into the attitudes of LGBT groups, particularly junior and senior high school students. Using a qualitative approach, the research took place in Bulu Village over four months during the 2021/2022 academic year. Primary data came from interviews and observations, while secondary data were derived from documentation. The findings reveal that respondents' deviant sexual orientation falls into the moderately deviant category. They experience attraction to the same sex and even engage in romantic relationships. An Islamic perspective aims to guide these individuals in changing their attitudes, assisting those struggling with sexual orientation and lesbian viewpoints. Challenges faced by respondents include managing daily life and avoiding deviant behavior. Strategies include acknowledging wrongdoing, seeking repentance, avoiding negative influences, and maintaining positivity.

Abstract

Change and relationship is a content in PISA that is classified as having a low score, because students experience errors in completing it, so to find out the student's mistakes, Newman's analysis is needed which is useful to find out the mistakes made by students, as well as scaffolding efforts to minimize and overcome errors. This study aims to describe the provision of scaffolding to junior high school students in solving PISA content change and relationship problems at Proklamasi Balongbendo Junior High School for the 2022/2023 even semester in April. Of the three classes consisting of classes VIII-a (32 students), VIII - B (31 students), and VIII-C (32 students). Then selected Class VIII-B purposively in this study, consisting of 16 male students and 15 female students. Purposive selection based on, special characteristics in the form of student ability and student activity in the classroom. The tests were conducted on all students of Class VIII - B, namely the initial ability test (TKA) and the PISA Ability Test (TKP). The subjects were selected based on the results of analysis of student answers and scores of initial ability test (TKA) and PISA ability test (TKP) and considering the UAS scores in mathematics subjects of students in semester 1, the subjects consisted of high ability subjects (S1), medium ability subjects (S2), and low research subjects (S3). The results of the study stated S1 able to read the question correctly, can understand the purpose of the problem, explain all the information in the question and be able to understand what is being asked, able to write a plan of completion, by doing pemisalan and using formulas that are in accordance with the solution of the question, mention the conclusions in accordance with the conclusions of the answers obtained from the work done. S2 is able to be able to read the problem correctly, explain what information is obtained from the problem, able to understand what is meant by the problem and write what is known and asked in the problem, able to transform the problem into a mathematical model by making a calculation from the information obtained in the problem, but have difficulty in performing calculation operations so as not to get the correct final result, S2 is able to write conclusions in accordance with the results obtained, but not precisely because the answers obtained are also not precise so that the results obtained in the conclusion are not correct. S3 is able to read the problem correctly, explaining all the information known from the question correctly. S3 does not define formulas and models math. S3 directly perform the overall calculation operation based on the information in the problem. And in the course of the interview the subject said with confidence that there was a proper formula to solve it, but he did not know the formula so did not write it down. S3 is not able to write the final conclusion precisely because the results of the answers obtained are also not appropriate. The type of error S1 in solving the PISA content change and relationship problem is a transformation error, and a process skill error. The types of S2 errors in solving PISA content change and relationship problems are Transformation errors, and process skill errors, and final answer writing (encoding). The types of S3 errors in solving PISA content change and relationship problems are comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skill errors, and final answer writing (encoding). Based on the type of error S1 is transformation, scaffolding given is reviewing, and restructuring. And the type of process skill error, scaffolding given is reviewing, restructuring, explaining. Based on the type of error made by S2 in solving the PISA content change and relationship Problem, the scaffolding transformation error given is reviewing, and restructuring, restructuring. Abstract

This study generally aims to determine the extent to which the Drill method is applied in increasing motivation to study Pancasila Education in Class IV SDN 44 Rampoang. The type of research used in this study was classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) with the nature of PTK being carried out independently, which means that research is conducting CAR without collaboration with other teachers. In this case the researcher is directly involved in planning actions, taking actions, observing, reflecting, and others. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. This classroom action research was carried out in a participatory and reflective manner, where the implementation process was carried out in a cyclical manner. After the writer discusses, conducts research, analyzes the results of the research, the results of the effect of applying the Drill method on increasing learning motivation are said to be successful because it can be seen and observed at every meeting there is an increase in each cycle. Based on data analysis, it was found that the success rate of students in one class was 42.85%, that is, out of 21 test takers, 9 people passed. Meanwhile, 12 people failed or 57.14%, because the test score was less than 70 and below the passing standard. so that it can be concluded that the Application of the Drill Method in Improving the Learning Motivation of Pancasila Education in Grade IV Students at SDN 44 Rampoang

Abstract

This research is an experimental research which aims to find out whether there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning model on students' critical thinking skills in learning mathematics in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bonepantai. The hypothesis in this study is that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on students' critical thinking skills in learning mathematics in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bonepantai. The population in this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Bonepantai. Sampling was carried out using simple random sampling technique and it was obtained that class VIII'3 was the class taught using the Problem Based Learning model (experimental class) consisting of 23 students and class VIII'2 was the class taught using the Direct Learning model (class control) consisting of 24 students. The design used in the research in this study was the pretest-posttest control group design and the data collection technique was giving a test of critical thinking skills in the form of an essay. Inferential analysis in this study is the Anakova Test. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on students' critical thinking skills, where the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students who are taught with the Problem Based Learning model are higher than students who are taught with direct learning models on opportunity material in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bonepantai .

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze how the contents contained in Arabic Language Textbooks can affect the learning interest of MAS PPM-AL YUSRIYAH students in class X. In conducting this research, researchers applied qualitative research methods with data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation, distribution of questionnaires, and make direct observations. The results obtained in this research activity have shown that the Arabic language book has criteria that meet the requirements in terms of discussion and the content of the material in it is in line with the scientific foundation in which there are: the strength of the material provided, the security of the contents of the material, and supporting materials . If assessed based on the gradation, presentation, and selection of the textbook, it meets the required criteria and can be entered properly. The use of Arabic Textbooks has been proven to increase students' interest in learning Arabic. The material presented in detail coupled with the methods and ways of teaching the teacher in the classroom can add enthusiasm to student learning.

Abstract

The communicative approach is one (option) that can be used in learning by teachers to their students in order to transfer knowledge (cognitive domain) as provision in navigating world life. Each approach to learning has advantages and disadvantages so that teachers are required to be creative in delivering teaching material. This study aims to describe the application of a communicative approach in learning so that it can improve students' English speaking skills. Researchers use a case study approach. Methods of data collection using observation and interview methods. The samples in this study were taken by purposive sampling. The results of the research findings indicate that the application of a communicative approach in learning English carried out by teachers can improve students' speaking skills. In the educational value perspective, this approach focuses on students' performance so that they can form habits in using English as a foreign language in communication interactions.

Abstract

Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility in the implementation of education. Understanding by design become one of learning model that can be implemented in class. The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of implementation of understanding by design model in the Merdeka Curriculum at X2 Class, SMA Negeri 22 Surabaya. This research uses classroom action and quantitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show three major points, 1) teacher competence increased by 52% to 66,36%, 2) students activities increased by 62,74% to 75,36%, 3) learning result increased by 62,74% to 75,36%.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) describe the academic supervision of public high school principals in Bula and West Bula sub-districts, Eastern Seram District, 2) describe the leadership style of public high school principals in Bula and West Bula Districts, East Seram District, 3) describe about the performance of public high school teachers in Bula and West Bula sub-districts, 4) to find out the relationship between the academic supervision of school principals and the performance of public high school teachers in Bula and West Bula sub-districts, East Seram Regency, 5) to find out the relationship between the principal's leadership style and performance public high school teachers in Bula and West Bula Districts, East Seram District. And 6) to find out the relationship between the principal's academic supervision and the principal's leadership style together with the performance of public high school teachers in Bula and West Bula Districts, East Seram District. The population in this study were all teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Seram Timur, totaling 56 teachers. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between Principal Academic Supervision and Teacher Performance with a correlation value of 0.337 and a significance value of 0.011. There is a positive and significant relationship between the Principal's Leadership Style and Teacher Performance with a correlation value of 0.354 and a significance value of 0.007. There is a positive and significant relationship between the Principal's Academic Supervision and the Principal's Leadership Style together on Teacher Performance with a correlation value of 0.427 and a significance value of 0.005.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence both separately and simultaneously the role of the principal as a manager, teacher commitment and motivation and teacher work ethic on improving teacher performance in SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Selatan. Data analysis used in this study is product moment correlation, partial correlation and multiple regression. Based on the research that has been done, it is concluded that: 1) there is a significant influence of the role of the principal as a manager on teacher performance with a product moment ry1 correlation coefficient = 0.678; ry1-2,3,4 = 0.320 and effective contribution = 14.60%; 2) there is a significant influence of teacher commitment on teacher performance with a product moment ry2 correlation coefficient = 0.788; ry2-1,3,4 = 0.319 and effective contribution = 21.20%; 3) there is a significant effect of work motivation on teacher performance with a product moment ry3 correlation coefficient = 0.780; ry3-1,2,4 = 0.315 and effective contribution = 20.70%; 4) there is a significant effect of work ethic on teacher performance with a product moment ry4 correlation coefficient = 0.772; ry4-1,2,3 = 0.320 and effective contribution = 20.70%; and 5) there is a simultaneous significant influence on the role of the principal as a manager, teacher commitment and work motivation and work ethic on teacher performance with product moment correlation coefficient values ry1,2,3,4 = 0.878 with multiple correlation coefficients (Ry1,2, 3.4)2 = 0.772 and an effective contribution of 77.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to present information and also find out about students' problem-solving skills using Problem Based Learning methods and methods conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Gunungsitoli Selatan. The design of this study used the Quasi-Experimental method with the pretest-posttest control group design method. The sample for this study was about 40 respondents, of which 20 students were in class I or experiment I. Meanwhile, 20 students were in class 2 or experiment II. From the research results obtained, the results of the t test were obtained with a calculated t value which had a value of 4,977. Meanwhile, the t table value at α is 0.05 and dk: 38 has a value of 1.6860. Thus t count has a greater value than t table, namely 4,977 ˃ 1,686). With this result, H0 is rejected and the H1 hypothesis is accepted. From these results it was found that there were significant results between students' problem solving abilities towards problem solving by applying the problem based learning learning model.
