Abstract

Yogyakarta, selain memiliki potensi wisata yang sangat banyak, juga memiliki kuliner yang sengat beragam, sehingga membuat wisatawan dapat menikmati semuanya yang ada. Terlihat dari banyaknya kuliner baru yang telah menjadi sebuah ikon kuliner Khas Di kota Jogja. Perkembangan tersebut membuat peneliti melihat beberapa Kuliner Khas Jogja, diantaranya Ayam Bakar Papin yang baru berdiri 6 tahun dan masih bertahan dengan konsep Ayam Bakar Pedas Jogjanya. Padahal banyak Kuliner Khas lainnya yang lebih lama namun namanya tidak begitu dikenal Wisatawan. Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana strategi komunikasi dan pemasaran digitalnya sehingga dapat mempertahankan customer yang berasal dari wisatawan. Akan dilakukan analisa kualitatif terhadap hal tersebut.

Abstract

Tourism potential in Kediri is a monument of Simpang Lima Gumul (SLG), which is famous for its shape that resembles the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. This monument is an icon from Kediri city that needs to be developed with promotional efforts for Japanese tourists. Moreover, there are quite frequent visits by native Japanese to the institution of the Japanese Language Course (WTC) in Kediri's Kampung Inggris. This study aimed to describe the creation of SLG monument brochures in Japanese. The methods of the study used included problem analysis, data collection, and media design. The result of this study was a tourist brochure of the SLG monument in Japanese as a promotional medium for WTC. Through this promotion, it is hoped that Japanese tourists' visits to SLG will increase. This brochure can be given to native Japanese speakers who visit the English Village Course Institute, namely the Workshop Training Center. Practically this brochure will be useful as a guide sheet that will make it easier for Japanese tourists travelling to Simpang Lima Gumul.Keywords: Brochure; Simpang Lima Gumul; Japanese.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the presentation of cultural infographic data in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The discussion in this research will focus on cultural infographic data in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection was done by interview, observation and documentation. The results show that the presentation using infographics will be very easy to understand in reading secondary data. The results of this study indicate that infographics as promotional media play a role in knowledge utilization. With research indicators, namely attractiveness, clarity of infographics, ease of understanding. So from the results of the study it can be concluded that infographics as a promotional media has a role in the utilization of data presentation: seen in the aspect of attractiveness, it can be concluded that the presentation of the content in infographics attracts the attention of infographic readers through the display of colors and images so as to attract readers' interest; seen from the aspect of clarity, the information presented in infographic content provides clarity to readers through the display of letters and the suitability of the images used; from the aspect of ease, infographic readers can understand the information in infographics easily so that readers can understand the meaning of the message and can interpret it.Keywords:  Infographic, Culture, Tourism

Abstract

This research aims to explore the development strategy of the Dieng tourism area based on local wisdom, with a specific focus on the Dieng Culture Festival. The study employs a qualitative approach to delve into the perspectives of the local community and to gain an in-depth understanding of the underlying local wisdom. Through a combination of observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, data were collected from various stakeholders including local residents, tourism practitioners, governmental authorities, academics, and participants of the Dieng Culture Festival. The research begins with a comprehensive literature review on local wisdom, sustainable tourism development, cultural event tourism, community participation, and socio-cultural-economic impacts. Findings reveal intricate connections between local wisdom, the Dieng Culture Festival, and the overall development of the tourism area. Furthermore, the study evaluates the economic, social, and cultural impacts of the festival on the local community and the region. Based on the analysis, a set of development strategies is formulated, integrating the research outcomes with theoretical frameworks. The strategies emphasize collaboration among local communities, governmental bodies, and tourism stakeholders. Validation of the strategies is conducted through focused group discussions involving relevant parties. The research concludes with recommendations for implementing the proposed strategies and underlines the importance of continuous evaluation and refinement based on evolving circumstances.Keywords: Development Strategy; Tourism; Culture; Local Wisdom

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential of Indonesian tourism in increasing economic growth, with a focus on the perceptions of local traders on the impact of tourists in increasing income on Lake Toba. The research method used is structured interviews with local traders operating around Lake Toba. The results of the analysis show that local traders have different perceptions of the impact of tourists on their income. Most local traders see the arrival of tourists as an opportunity to increase their sales and income. The presence of tourists also triggers the development of the local economy as a whole, with a multiplier effect that benefits not only local traders, but also the communities and areas around Lake Toba. However, there are also some local traders who have a negative perception of the impact of tourists. They expressed fears of intensifying competition and concerns that local cultural authenticity might be eroded by the influence of mass tourism. It can be concluded that local traders around Lake Toba have various perceptions of the impact of tourists in increasing their income. Although there are some negative perceptions, such as increasingly fierce competition and concerns over the authenticity of local culture, positive perceptions are still more dominant. Local traders realize the importance of maintaining a balance between tourism growth and preserving the uniqueness and authenticity of local culture.Keywords:  Tourism Potential, Economic Development, Perceptions of Local Traders, Lake Toba

Abstract

AbstractThe tourist village of Mount Mijil has a strong historical value associated with the struggle of Prince Diponegoro against the Netherlands. The tourist village was officially inaugurated in 2020 in the early year of the Covid-19 pandemic. To this day, the village of Mijil Mountain tourism is still shallow and not many people know where it is. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the management of the tourist village in order to formulate a better strategy in its management. This research is qualitative, the results of the research are presented in a descriptive way to obtain a picture of the potential, advantages and disadvantages, as well as the management of the tourist village of Gunung Mijil. The methods used in data collection are with interviews, observations, archives and library studies. The results of the research show that the Mijil Mountain Tourism Village has the potential and tourist attractiveness of the rural life atmosphere around the limestone hills, as well as the strong historical value of being the site of the Prince Diponegoro's petition. The tourist village is managed by a non-formal institution called Gumi Buldozer, which is represented by the people of Mount Mijil Village. However, the management of the Mountain Mijil Tourism Village is not maximum. The availability of amenities is incomplete, the accessibility is inadequate and the commitment of managers is weak.Keywords: Village Tourism; Management; Gunung Mijil Tourist VillageAbstrakDesa Wisata Gunung Mijil memiliki nilai historis yang kuat terkait dengan Perjuangan Pangeran Diponegoro di era 1825-1830. Desa wisata ini diresmikan pada tahun 2020 di tahun awal pandemi virus Covid-19 melanda. Hingga saat ini desa wisata Gunung Mijil masih redup dan tidak banyak orang yang tahu keberadaannya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan desa wisata tersebut agar dapat disusun strategi yang lebih baik dalam pengelolaannya. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, hasil penelitian disajikan secara deskriptif untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai potensi, kelebihan dan kekurangan, serta pengelolaan desa wisata Gunung Mijil. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara, observasi, arsip-arsip dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa Wisata  Gunung Mijil memiliki potensi dan daya tarik wisata berupa suasana kehidupan pedesaan di sekitar bukit kapur, serta nilai historis yang kuat yaitu sebagai tempat petilasan Pangeran Diponegoro. Desa wisata tersebut dikelola oleh lembaga non formal bernama Gumi Buldozer yang beranggotakan warga Desa Gunung Mijil. Namun, pengelolaan Desa Wisata Gunung Mijil belum maksimal. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengelolaan sampah dengan pendekatan konsep zero waste dalam industri pariwisata. Dalam konteks pariwisata berkelanjutan, pengelolaan sampah menjadi isu penting yang perlu ditangani secara efektif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur. Penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai aspek terkait pengelolaan sampah, termasuk resiko pencemaran lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konsep zero waste dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam mengelola sampah di sektor pariwisata, antara lain partisipasi masyarakat, sistem pengolahan sampah, inovasi teknologi ramah lingkungan, produk wisata berkelanjutan, dan pola kemitraan dengan model Bussiness to Bussiness (B2B). Kontribusi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan dengan menerapkan konsep zero waste dan memberikan sumbangan yang signifikan dalam upaya global untuk pelestarian lingkungan dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci:   Pariwisata Berkelanjutan; Industri Pariwisata; Zero WasteAbstractThis research aims to examine waste management with a zero-waste concept approach in the tourism industry. In the context of sustainable tourism, waste management is an important issue that needs to be addressed effectively. The method used is a literature study. This research analyzes various aspects related to waste management, including the risk of environmental pollution. The results showed that the application of the zerowaste concept can be an innovative solution in managing waste in the tourism sector, including community participation, waste treatment systems, environmentally friendly technological innovations, sustainable tourism products, and partnership patterns with business-to-business (B2B) models. Abstract

This research aims to see whether or not there is a relationship between location or place variables, prices or costs and services for visitors to the desire or interest in traveling in a tourist spot. Visitors who visit the tourist attractions of Celosia Flower Park became the population in this study. Purposive sampling method is an option in sampling. The sample taken in this research amounted to 100 informants who were visitors from tourist attractions. To analyze the data obtained using reliability testing, validity testing as well as multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this study is the presence of positive influences and significant locations to visit. Visitor services influence the interest of visits. Meanwhile, the cost of the attraction does not have a significant effect on the interest in visiting. Taken together, location, cost and visitor services have a positive and significant effect on visiting intentions with a very strong contribution. Abstract

ABSTRAKSebagai kota pariwisata, tentu saja Yogyakarta bertumbuh dengan ekonomi pariwisata pula, adanya banyak objek wisata menjadi potensi pertumbuhan ekonomi di sektor pariwisata juga besar. Salah satu objek wisata yaitu candi prambanan, candi yang memiliki luas 39 Hektar ini bisa menampung banyak massa, sehingga kawasan tersebut sangat cocok menjadi tempat event berskala besar. Sebagai kawasan pariwisata yang telah berjalan lama, tentu saja disekitar prambanan banyak fasilitas yang menunjang, seperti banyaknya penginapan, restaurant, cafe dan lainnya. Oleh karena itu, kawasan tersebut akan merasakan dampaknya jika dalam candi prambanan kunjungannya naik. Tentu saja membuat pertumbuhan ekonomi di daerah tersebut akan semakin baik. Sejak dilanda Covid-19 masyarakat banyak yang sadar akan kesehatan, kesedaran tersebut berdampak kepada minatnya olahraga yang melunjak sampai saat ini. Olahraga kini telah menjadi gaya hidup yang banyak dilakoni  salah satunya berlari. Menurut penelitian yang sebelumnya,, ada yang mengatakan bahwa event dari event olahraga tersebut sangat besar, namun di Yunani, tepatnya di athena, event olahraga marathon tidak memperlihatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang baik. Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi di kawasan prambanan khususnya di penginapan pada saat event olahraga berlangsung, studi kasus di Mandiri Jogja Marathon tahun 2024.Kata Kunci: Pariwisata; Ekonomi; Penginapan; MarathonABSTRACTAs a tourism city, of course Yogyakarta is growing with the tourism economy as well, the existence of many tourist attractions has the potential for economic growth in the tourism sector is also large. One of the tourist attractions is Prambanan Temple, this temple which has an area of 39 hectares can accommodate many people, so the area is very suitable as a place for large-scale events. As a tourism area that has been running for a long time, of course around Prambanan there are many supporting facilities, such as many inns, restaurants, cafes and others. Therefore, the area will feel the impact if the number of visits to Prambanan Temple increases. Of course, it will make economic growth in the area even better. Since being hit by Covid-19, many people have become aware of health, this awareness has an impact on their interest in sports which has soared until now. Sports have now become a lifestyle that many people do, one of which is running. According to previous research, some say that the event of the sporting event is very large, but in Greece, precisely in Athens, the marathon sporting event did not show good economic growth. Therefore, the researcher wants to know whether there is an influence of economic growth in the Prambanan area, especially in accommodation during sporting events, a case study at the 2024 Mandiri Jogja Marathon.Keywords: Tourism; Economic; Lodge; Marathon

Abstract

This research explores culinary tourism trends in West Java, Indonesia, with a focus on the popularity of street food at Lengkong Culinary Night in Bandung. Despite gaining popularity, challenges such as limited parking spaces affect visitor accessibility. Using a quantitative method, the study involved 100 visitors with multiple linear regression analysis. Findings indicate a positive impact of attraction and facilities on tourist satisfaction. The research provides insights into factors influencing tourist satisfaction and practical implications for stakeholders in the tourism and culinary sector. Separately, the attraction variable shows a significant impact on tourist satisfaction, as evidenced by the calculated t value of 11.263 which exceeds the t table value of 1.985, with a significance value of 0.000 which is lower than 0.05. Likewise, individual amenity variables also make a significant contribution to tourist satisfaction, as can be seen from the t count of 5.081 which exceeds the t table value of 1.985, with a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. When tested simultaneously, attractions and amenities also show a significant impact on tourist satisfaction, indicated by a calculated F value of 203.147 which exceeds the F table value of 3.09, with a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that both individually and together, attractions (X1) and amenities (X) have a significant influence on the satisfaction variable (Y). Thus, it can be concluded that the hypotheses for the three variables can be accepted.
