Abstract

Keberadaan kondisi infrastruktur jalan setapak diwilayah RT02, RW02 Kelurahan Paduroso saat ini kondisi fisiknya berupa tanah berbatu sehingga sangat beresiko tinggi untuk dilalui, dan hal tersebut diperparah kondisnya jika memasuki musim penghujan, karena jalan menjadi becek bahkan licin yang menyebabkan mobilisasi warga, dan para pelaku usaha sehari-hari terganggu. Oleh karena itu guna memperlancar aktivitas warga dan pelaku usaha peningkatan dan perbaikan jalan diwilayah tersebut perlu dilakukan. Tujuan kegiatan program Pengabdian Masyarakat yakni melakukan peningkatan kondisi infrastruktur jalan setapak rabad beton dengan menggunakan campuran bahan semen portland, pasir dan batu split. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan oleh Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat bersama warga wilayah RT02, RW02, dimulai dengan survai peninjauan lokasi, kegiatan bersama mitra, pengadaan row material dan dilanjutkan kegiatan pengecoran jalan rabad beton secara gotong-royong bersama masyarakat sepanjang 2,5x 0,015 x 150 m. Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal, maka pendampingan oleh tim pengabdian dimulai persiapann lokasi, pengadaan bahan, pelaksanaan pencampuran beton, proses pengecoran beton, hingga perawatan beton. Antusias warga sangat besar, adanya kerjasama antara tim dengan warga yang baik sehingga bisa diperoleh hasil jalan setapak yang layak, aman dan nyaman digunakan untuk mobilitas warga wilayah RT02, RW09 dan para pelaku usaha kecil.

Abstract

Increasing visits by pregnant women for health checks is very important in supporting the health of the mother and fetus, as well as preventing complications during pregnancy and childbirth. This article examines the effectiveness of health education as a method to increase awareness and frequency of examination visits for pregnant women. Through a structured educational approach, health education can increase mothers' knowledge about the benefits of routine check-ups, pregnancy risk factors, and preventive measures. The results showed a significant increase in examination visits after the education intervention, indicating the importance of health education to support optimal antenatal care.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children due to chronic malnutrition which has an impact on children's physical and cognitive development and threatens the quality of human resources in the future. This counseling on stunting prevention for pregnant women and mothers with toddlers aims to increase understanding and practice regarding providing proper nutrition and health care during pregnancy and the early stages of a child's life. Outreach activities are carried out through interactive lecture methods, group discussions, and the distribution of educational materials covering the importance of balanced nutrition, exclusive breastfeeding practices, and handling diseases in toddlers. The results of this activity show increased knowledge and changes in behavior among mothers to support optimal child growth and development. By increasing education and nutritional awareness among pregnant women and mothers of toddlers, it is hoped that the stunting rate can be reduced significantly and create a healthy and high-quality generation. Abstract

The high rate of stunting in Indonesia is a public health challenge that requires special attention, especially intervention at the family level. One effort to prevent stunting is through optimal pregnancy spacing, which can be achieved by increasing the use of contraceptives in women of childbearing age. The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of education in increasing understanding and use of contraceptives as a stunting prevention strategy. The method used involves intensive counseling to groups of women of  childbearing age in several areas with a high prevalence of stunting. The research results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and understanding of the benefits of contraception in supporting maternal and child health, as well as a reduction in the incidence of short-term pregnancies, which is a risk factor for stunting. The conclusion is that education about contraception is effective in promoting public awareness regarding the importance of spacing pregnancies as an effort to prevent stunting in Indonesia.

Abstract

Education is one of the top efforts to combat ignorance and poverty, especially in our country, Indonesia. Whereas when that person attends school, they have already learned many things and gained insights into this world. Education can be obtained anytime and anywhere, therefore we as humans should be aware of this. In the future, education will have a significant impact on future development. Speaking of the future, in this industrial technology era, we are required to think ahead, especially now supported by various automation technologies such as AI and IoT. From this point, researchers want to share and show full concern for education that must keep up with the times by implementing the Holiday Program, which consists of teaching and learning activities for Gen Z high school/vocational school teenagers, utilizing media technology that currently dominates our education world. Robotics is a natural application of mechatronics, and integrating robotics into education can help students develop important skills in programming, engineering, and problem-solving. The smart mobile transporter robot with an Android microcontroller is a specific example of a mechatronic system that can be used in an educational context. The Android microcontroller is powerful and versatile, making it suitable for controlling complex systems like robots. By implementing this system in a workshop educational environment, students can gain hands-on experience with mechatronics and robotics concepts, while also developing important skills such as teamwork and collaboration. In addition to the technical skills that students can develop, this type of education can also help shape the character of Gen Z. By focusing on creative and innovative competencies, students can learn to think outside the box and develop problem-solving mindsets. This is an important skill in today's rapidly changing world, where new challenges and opportunities constantly arise. The Holiday Program is a field study to fill the holidays with beneficial activities that will be carried out by Gen Z students from schools or institutions to engage in learning activities conducted either within the school environment or outside the school (especially at Partner Collaboration Service Locations).

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan kepada tenaga pendidik di Yayasan Riad Madani dalam penerapan Computer-Based Test (CBT) sebagai metode evaluasi pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam proses evaluasi pendidikan yang lebih efisien dan akurat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan penggunaan perangkat lunak CBT, simulasi ujian, dan evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru terhadap penggunaan CBT, dengan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman peserta dari 55% pada pre-test menjadi 85% pada post-test. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan CBT juga sangat positif, dengan 85% siswa memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap pengalaman ujian berbasis komputer. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan yang diidentifikasi, terutama terkait keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi seperti jumlah perangkat komputer dan kualitas jaringan internet. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CBT di Yayasan Riad Madani berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran. Rekomendasi ke depan mencakup peningkatan infrastruktur dan pelatihan lanjutan bagi guru untuk memperdalam penggunaan teknologi ini.

Abstract

Stunting is still a major nutritional problem for babies and children under two years of age in Indonesia. This condition must be immediately eradicated because it will hinder the momentum of Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. The main causes of stunting include inadequate nutrition and nutrition intake for children, wrong parenting patterns due to lack of knowledge and education for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, poor environmental sanitation. living and limited access to health facilities. An alternative local food processing that can be introduced to the community is tofu nuggets. Tofu can be processed into various shapes and other types of food, one of which is tofu nuggets. The aim of this activity is to improve mothers' skills in processing tofu nuggets to prevent stunting in toddlers. This type of activity is a demonstration of processing tofu nuggets for 30 mothers who have children aged ≤ 2 years in Pasaribu Village. The results show that there are differences in mothers' knowledge and skills before and after practice/demonstration. The results of interviews with participants stated that practice/demonstration was very helpful in conveying information about processing balanced nutrition for toddlers to mothers so that the information could be conveyed more clearly and precisely. Demonstration activities also explain an object that can be given, for example the food consumed contains carbohydrates, protein, minerals and so on. The hope of this research is for mothers who have toddlers to make efforts to prevent stunting (fulfilment of pregnancy nutrition and blood supplement tablets, exclusive breastfeeding, MP-ASI, giving Vitamin A, complete basic immunization, PHBS, monitoring babies and toddlers at posyandu and paying attention to fulfilling balanced nutrition for children). Abstract

The aim of implementing this community service is to form upstream waste cadres in Minggirsari Village, so that existing waste can be managed well and the community has motivation in managing their household waste. The implementation method for this activity is carried out by holding socialization about the upstream waste cadres of Minggirsari Village, which is then provided with ongoing assistance so that the upstream waste can work according to its function and is able to increase the number of waste bank members. The result of this activity is the formation of upstream waste cadres in Minggirsari, household waste is well managed, this is proven by the increasing number of waste bank members and the increasingly active existing waste banks. Abstract

The increase in selling value and profit for business actors starts with the attractiveness of packaging, logos, and labels. Many MSMEs do not prioritize packaging, labels, and logos on their products, which can influence the appeal to potential customers and loyal consumers. MSMEs often use third-party services for designing packaging, logos, and labels due to limited skills, time, and self-managed operations. The local youth organizations are involved in designing packaging, logos, and labels because they understand local needs, possess creative and innovative ideas, and incorporate these ideas into packaging designs. Their strong sense of ownership toward the product helps drive promotion efforts. The purpose of this activity is to train the youth organizations to create packaging, logos, and labels using digital technology. The method used involves training and mentoring the youth organizations to create packaging, logos, and labels using the Canva application. The results of this training encourage the youth organizations to develop skills in packaging, logo, and label design and to produce competitive local packaging designs.

Abstract

Emotion management training for parents has an important role in strengthening harmonious family relationships, especially in supporting effective parenting. This study aims to evaluate the impact of training on parents' ability to manage emotions and improve communication patterns in the family. The training program was conducted over three days and involved 50 parents as participants. Data were collected through pre-test, post-test, observation, and in-depth interviews. Results showed a significant improvement in emotion management skills, with the average score increasing from 65.2 to 84.7 (100 scale). In addition, 78% of participants reported better ability to control emotions, and 85% felt more confident using assertive communication techniques. The program also created positive changes in the family atmosphere, such as a decrease in verbal conflict and an increase in more harmonious relationships. Despite challenges such as time constraints and differences in participants' backgrounds, the training had a significant positive impact. The program is recommended to be implemented in other communities with follow-up support to sustain its impact..
