Abstract

This service is assistance in testing activities for class A aggregates at the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Services UPTD Equipment and Construction Material Testing of Tanah Laut Regency. This assistance activity will be carried out for one month starting on September 2 2024. The theme of this service is Assistance with Testing of Class A aggregate materials at the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Services UPTD Equipment and Construction Material Testers, Tanah Laut Regency. This activity is intended as assistance in analyzing whether the quality of the class A aggregate material used meets SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) and knowing whether the CBR (California Bearing Ratio) test value of the class A aggregate material used meets the requirements of the 2018 General Bina Marga Specifications (Division 5). This service method is carried out in the form of assisting UPTD employees in several aggregate tests in accordance with the required specifications. The result of this assistance activity was that testing the specific gravity and dry weight of the saturated surface revealed that it did not meet the requirements for testing the specific gravity and absorption of coarse aggregate. Meanwhile, the results of testing the specific gravity and absorption of fine aggregate showed that the specific gravity, saturated surface dry weight, apparent specific gravity and water absorption were found to meet the requirements.

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought significant changes in various sectors, including the pawnshop industry. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence people's interest in utilizing pawnshop services in the digital era. The factors analyzed include ease of access to services, trust in pawnshop institutions, understanding of technology, and digital-based service innovation. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of surveys distributed to the user community and potential users of digital pawnshop services. The research results show that ease of access and trust are the main factors that drive public interest. Apart from that, service innovation and understanding of technology also play an important role in influencing people's decisions to use pawnshop services. This study provides recommendations for pawnshop institutions to continue to improve the quality of digital services and build trust through transparency and data security to increase public interest.

Abstract

Marriage registration plays an important role in preventing stunting, a condition of chronic malnutrition that affects children's growth. It provides various benefits, such as ensuring the health status and age of prospective couples, providing access to health information and education, recording data for health and nutrition assistance, supporting better pregnancy planning, and facilitating the monitoring of maternal and child health by healthcare workers. Registered couples are easier to monitor for prenatal check-ups and child growth tracking, allowing potential nutritional issues that may cause stunting to be detected and addressed earlier. Overall, marriage registration is an important first step to ensure that new families begin their journey with sufficient knowledge and support, particularly in health and nutrition aspects, minimizing the risk of stunting in children. With proper parenting and the wise use of social media, parents can not only focus on their child’s growth and development but also create opportunities to enhance the family’s economic well-being.

Abstract

Implementing a healthy lifestyle plays a crucial role in preventing stunting, particularly among children and pregnant women. Additionally, economic factors, such as low per capita family income (below the poverty line), can also contribute to the occurrence of stunting. The objective of the Community Partnership Service (PKM) program in Pananggahan Village, Sorkam District, Central Tapanuli Regency, with the theme 'Implementing a Healthy Lifestyle to Prevent Stunting: Healthy Children, Strong and Happy Families,' is to: (1) Support Optimal Growth: A healthy lifestyle, including balanced nutrition, plays a key role in ensuring that children receive the essential vitamins and minerals needed to support optimal physical growth and brain development. (2) Strengthen the Immune System: Healthy food, physical activity, and good hygiene practices help strengthen children's immune systems, making them less prone to infections. Recurrent infections can exacerbate the risk of stunting, as the body struggles to absorb nutrients effectively. (3) Prevent Nutrient Deficiencies: A healthy lifestyle encourages the consumption of nutritious foods in adequate amounts, preventing deficiencies in essential micronutrients such as iron, calcium, vitamin A, and zinc. Long-term nutrient deficiencies are a primary cause of stunting. With a proper healthy lifestyle, the risk of stunting can be reduced, as children receive the support necessary for growth and development in line with their full potential.

Abstract

The aim of this Community Service Program (PKM) is to enhance the skills of the people of Bona Lumban Village in creating opportunities for micro-enterprises based on local culinary products. Mango Sticky Rice, a popular dessert in Thailand, has great potential to be developed into an innovative and attractive business product. The methods used include hands-on demonstrations, mentoring, and production evaluation. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Bona Lumban Village, Central Tapanuli Regency, have been engaged as partners in this community service program, which aims to enrich their knowledge of production, packaging, and effective marketing. The results of this activity indicate an improvement in the participants' skills in preparing mango sticky rice and a better understanding of basic entrepreneurship. It is hoped that this program will encourage the people of Bona Lumban Village to develop micro-enterprises, increase family income, and introduce a variety of culinary products that can attract market interest.

Abstract

The objectives of this community partnership program (PKM) are (1) to understand Affiliate Marketing on E-Commerce Platforms, and (2) to train the people of Sipange Village in Affiliate Marketing on E-Commerce Platforms. The training method consists of three stages: (1) Preparation, (2) Implementation, and (3) Final Evaluation. The PKM partners are the community of Sipange Village, Tukka District, Central Tapanuli Regency. This program aims to enhance the community's understanding of Affiliate Marketing on E-Commerce Platforms and serve as motivation to improve their standard of living.

Abstract

This community service aims to help UMKM with Variegated Flavors Chips in Padang Brahrang Village, Selesai District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. In this activity, assistance was provided in the form of the development of a web-based online sales application and the provision of 1 unit of Hewlet Packard laptop as an operational support facility. This program aims to increase the accessibility of marketing various flavored chips products and expand market reach through digital platforms. The methods applied include the design stage, application development, and application use training for MSME owners. The results of this activity show that this sales application helps MSMEs in managing products and transactions more effectively. In addition, the training conducted improves the ability of MSME owners to operate digital-based systems, so it is expected to have a positive impact on increasing sales and product competitiveness.

Education and socialization Social media can play a role in developing and promoting culinary businesses that are mushrooming in Indonesia. Original Indonesian cuisine is very abundant and diverse and spread from Sabang to Merauke including seafood in Pari Serdang Bedagai City. Seafood cuisine in Pari Serdang Bedagai City has its own characteristics and represents the identity of each region in North Sumatra Province. Abstract

Homelessness and beggars are social problems that are often found in various regions of Indonesia, especially Binjai City. This causes fewer job opportunities, inadequate human resources and increases people’s living need. To overcome this problem, Dinas Sosial Kota Binjai created a policy to deal with homeless people and beggars by providing basic information technology training. This Community servis aims to empower homeless people and beggars to improve skills, access information and work opportunities for disadvantaged community groups. By providing skills to teach how to access relevant information such as health service, social assistance, free education and job vacancies.
