Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of work discipline on employee performance at the Head Office of PT. Prima Karya Manunggal in Pangkep Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods. The data collection technique carried out is through observation, questionnaires and documentation. In this study, the sample technique used was a sampling technique. saturation of 53 respondents of PT Head Office employees. Prima Karya Manunggal in PangkepRegency. The data analysis techniques used are validity and reliability tests to test the feasibility of questionnaires, descriptive analysis, normality tests, simple linear regression tests to test hypotheses and product moment correlation tests to test the presence or absence of significant relationships and how much influence work discipline has on employee performance. The results showed that: (1) Dsiplin works at the Head Office of PT. Prima Karya Manunggal in PangkepRegency is in the good category in terms of attendance frequency, level of vigilance, strictness on work standards, compliance with work regulations, and work ethics. (2) Performance of employees at the Head Office of PT. Prima Karya Manunggal in Pangkep Regency is in the good category in terms of work quality, quantity of work, implementation of duties and responsibilities. (3) 62.4% of the effect of work discipline on performance at the Head Office of PT. Prima Karya Manunggal in Pangkep Regency.

Abstract

Wages are adjusted according to the results that have been given by employees to the company. Wage levels that are not sufficient for the living needs of employees will affect the difficulty of achieving optimal work productivity. Siagian in Sutrisno (2011), stated that the problem of work productivity can be seen as a behavioral problem, but it can also contain technical aspects.Wages are adjusted according to the results that have been givenemployees to the company. Insufficient wage levelsthe living needs of employees will affect the difficulty of achieving optimal work productivity. The higher the achievement, the greater the wages that will be received. Wages are essentially a means of equal distribution in all types and forms of wages. However, the distribution of wages for each position must be the same based on the number of products produced. For the employees themselves, the wages they receive have an important meaning in their lives, namely in accordance with the goals of employees working to earn a decent life.One of the problems in Polman district, West Sulawesi province, is regarding wages, focusing on the level of weaving experience, business status, type of yarn, and market availability. The problems that exist in the Mandar silk sarong craftsmen are focused on the level of wages for the workers of the Mandar silk sarong craftsmen themselves, including that almost all workers who work as Mandar silk sarong craftsmen get paid less than what they do. This is based on wage conditions determined by agents who will buy, then re-market by looking at the quality of the materials from the motives they work on. If the sarong motif has a low level of difficulty with imported Indian materials, the estimated wage earned is Rp. 70,000 – Rp. 150,000 per sarong. For the sarong motif with high difficulty using local materials, the estimated wage is Rp. 250,000 – Rp. 300,000 per month. The mandar silk sarong craftsmen can earn Rp. 1,500,000 per month from weaving 5-6 sarongs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence Price Discounts have on Purchase Decisions on the Shopee Marketplace for Business Administration Students, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires and documentation. The population is 470 people. The sampling method is using proportionate stratified random sampling method, so that the sample obtained is 83 people. The results of the analysis of the data obtained were processed using the SPSS 26 application which consisted of testing the validity and reliability of instruments, descriptive and inferential data analysis techniques.Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Price Discount variable is in a very good category with supporting indicators, namely the amount of the discount, the period of the discount and the type of product that gets the discount. The Purchase Decision Variable is in the very high category, because most of the respondents agree on the indicators of product choice, choice of brand, determination of the time of purchase and the situation at the time of purchase. Based on a simple linear regression test of 0.653 which shows that the direction of the relationship between the Price Discount variable and the Purchase Decision variable is unidirectional, the coefficient of determination test for the R2 value of 0.455 indicates that Price Discounts affect Purchase Decisions on the Shopee Marketplace for Business Administration Students, Faculty of Social Sciences and University Law Makassar State.. Keywords: Price Discount, Purchase Decision, Marketplace, Shopee

Abstract

Analysis of Entrepreneurial Ability at Crispy Sumedang Tofu Restaurant in Pangkep Regency. Thesis. Business Administration Study Program. Administration Science Department. Faculty of Social Sciences and Law. Makassar public university. Supervised by Hasnawi Haris and Sirajuddin Saleh. This study aims to determine the impact of entrepreneurship skills on Crispy Sumedang Tofu Restaurant in Pangkep Regency. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques carried out are through observation, interviews, and documentation. The number of informants in this study is five people who are representative and meet the criteria in this study. Data analysis techniques in this study used data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the impact of the entrepreneurial ability of Crispy Sumedang Tofu in Pangkep Regency is based on indicators of initiative and proactivity, namely that business actors have succeeded in increasing operational efficiency and have played an important role in finding innovative solutions to be able to face the challenges of the business world. Courage to face risks, by mitigating risks in order to survive in the midst of a situation that cannot be denied. Achievement oriented by taking advantage of business opportunities, developing effective strategies, and upholding professionalism in work, as well as commitments with various parties, namely customers, employees, partners, for mutual benefit.

Nurfadila, 2023. The influence of tourist visits on entrepreneurial motivation around Salopi Beach, Pinrang Regency. Thesis. Business Administration Study Program. Faculty of Social Sciences and Law. Makassar State University. Guided by Risma Niswaty and Andi Cudai Nur. This study aims to determine how the influence of tourist visits on entrepreneurial motivation around Salopi Beach, Pinrang Regency. To achieve this goal, researchers use indicators to measure these variables. In the variable of tourist visits, the indicators used are tourist income, travel costs to tourist attractions, tourist leisure time, and tourist attraction facilities. As for the variable of entrepreneurial motivation, the indicators used are the need for achievement, the need for power, and the need for affiliation. In this study, the research method used is a type of quantitative research, with data collection techniques carried out through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The sample used in this study was 30 respondents. Data was obtained from the results of research processed using data analysis and using the help of SPSS software program version 26 consisting of validity tests, reality tests, normality tests, simple linear regrrsi analysis, product moment correlation and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the indicators used on each of these variables showed that tourist visits were in the very good category. For indicators on the variable of entrepreneurial motivation is in the very good category. Based on the coefficient of determination test, the value of R2 is at high intervals, which means that tourist visits have a high influence on entrepreneurial motivation around Salopi beach, Pinrang Regency.                                                            Keywords: tourist visits, entrepreneurial motivation, Salopi Beach.

Abstract

Analysis of marketing strategies to increase sales in the emping melinjo Selayar business. Thesis of the Business Administration Study Program, AdministrationScience Major, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. Supervised by Muh. Rizal S. and Yusi Irensi Seppa. This study aims to identify andanalyze marketing strategies to increase sales of Selayar's emping melinjo business. To achieve this goal, this study used a qualitative approach, this study took 6 (six) respondents, consisting of business actors and business employees. Data collection procedures used were in-depth interviews and documentation. The interview technique was carried out in a structured manner using interviewguidelines. The results of this study indicate that emping melinjo Selayar has not implemented a good and effective marketing strategy according to the theory usedby researchers. In implementing the marketing strategy, Emping melinjo Selayar has not carried out the marketing mix, namely product research, price, place, andpromotion properly in determining a marketing strategy.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of visitor motivation on visiting decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of motivation of visitors to Kampoeng Taipa tourism, to determine the level of decision to visit Kampoeng Taipa tourism, and to determine the influence of visitor motivation on the decision to visit Kampoeng Taipa tourism. The research approach is quantitative. This research was conducted in Kampoeng Taipa Sorowako, Nuha District, East Luwu Regency. The data sources in this study were visitors to Kampoeng Taipa tours from January to June 2022. Data collection techniques were in the form of observation, question naires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include normality test, descriptive analysis, simple linear regression analysis, analysis of the coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that the indicator used for each of these variables indicate the variable of visitor motivation in the good category. The indicators on the visiting decision variable are in the very good category. Based on the correlation test, there is a high relationship between the two variable. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between visitor motivation and the decision to visit tourist visitors to Kampoeng Taipa Sorowako, Nuha District, East Luwu Regency.Keywords: Visitor Motivation, Visiting Decision

Abstract

Supervised by H.Muhammad Guntur andMuh.Rizal S.This study aims to find out how the influence of human capital on employeework productivity where Bank Sulselbar South Sulawesi is the object of research. Toachieve this goal, researchers use indicators to measure these variables. In the humancapital variable, the indicators used are knowledge, expertise, abilities, and skills. As forthe employee productivity variables, the indicators used are ability, work quantity, workquality, and attendance. In this study the research method used was quantitative research,with data collection techniques used through observation, questionnaires, anddocumentation. The sample used in this study was 93 respondents. The data obtainedfrom the results of the research were processed using data analysis and using the help of the SPSS version 25 program which consisted of validity tests, reliability tests, normalitytests, simple regression analysis, and the coefficient of determination.The results of the study show that the indicators used for each of these variables indicate that the human capital variable has a good or significant influence on the work productivity of employees at PT. Bank Sulselbar, South Sulawesi. This can be proven by testing the coefficient ofdetermination using the data that has been obtained.

Abstract

 The Influence of Brand Image and Promotion on Purchase Interest at the Akhwat Sewing House Store in Sidenreng RappangRegency. Thesis. Business Administration Study Program. Administration Science Department. Faculty of Social Science. Makassar State University. (supervised by Mrs. Risma Niswaty and Maya Kasmita).This study aims to determine the influence of brand image and promotion on purchase intention at akhwat sewing house shops in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. To achieve the goal, the researchers used indicators to measure these variables. The brand image indicators include the superiority of brand associations, the strength of brand associations, and the uniqueness of brand associations. Indicators include advertising promotions, sales promotions, public relations, personal selling and direct marketing. Indicators of buying interest include transactional interest, referential interest, preferential interest, and explorative interest. The research method used is a quantitative method. The sample used is the collection of sample data, namely questionnaires that are tested for validity and reliability tests. The data obtained were processed using data analysis using the SPSS vaersi 25 program which consisted of data normality tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t tests, f tests and the coefficient of determinant R2. The results showed that the brand image variable had a very significant effect on both the buying interest variable. The influence variable has a very good significant effect on the purchase intention variable. The results showed that the brand image and promotion variables had a significant effect partially and simultaneously on the variable of customer buying interest at the Akhwat Sewing House shop in Sidenreng Rappang District, this was proven by the t test and F test. The results of the determinant coefficient showed that brand image and promotion had a large effect 56% of interest in buying at the Sewing Akhwat home shop in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Keywords: Brand Image, Promotion, Purchase Intention

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction at the Regional Public Water Company of Makassar City in the District of Tamalanrea. This research uses quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques carried out are through observation, literature, questionnaires, and documentation. The sample used in this study was 100 consumers of the Makassar Municipal Public Water Company in the Tamalanrea District. The data obtained from the research results were processed using data analysis and using the SPSS 25 application which consisted of validity and reliability tests, descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the variables of service quality and customer satisfaction at PERUMDA Water Supply Makassar City have a significant influence. This was proven based on the results of a simple linear regression test and a correlation coefficient test of 0.664 which means that the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction is strong. The determinant coefficient ???? ???? is obtained for 0.441 which means that the effect of service quality on consumer satisfaction at PERUMDA Water Supply Makassar City in Tamalanrea District obtains a value of 44.1%, while the remaining 55.9% is influenced by other factors Keywords : Service Quality, Consumer Satisfaction.
