Abstract

This study uses a descriptive quantitative research approach with the aim of explaining the marketing strategy to improve the competitiveness of manufacturing companies at PT Maraya Mediatama Indonesia by using SWOT analysis. The subjects in this study were employees and customers of PT Maraya Mediatama Indonesia. Using data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis method used in this research is SWOT analysis. This analysis is based on logic that can maximize strengths (Strengths) and opportunities (Opportunities), but can simultaneously minimize weaknesses (weaknesses) and threats (Threats). The results of this study start from formulating a SWOT matrix so as to obtain an SO strategy, namely maintaining affordable prices, expanding market share, maintaining the quality and quality of service and maintaining the quality of labor / HR, WO strategy, namely increasing promotional activities, trying to increase the number of human resources, ST strategy, namely improving product quality and service quality and improving the quality of human resources and WT strategy, namely further improving the quality and quality of service to customers and developing new strategies; formulating the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) Matrix so that the total score of strengths (strengths) is 2.99 and the total score of weaknesses (weaknesses) is 0.40. So for the difference in strengths and weaknesses obtained, the strengths and weaknesses are obtained. So that the difference between strengths and weaknesses is 2.59; formulate the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrix so that the total score of opportunities is 2.62 and the total score of threats is 0.5. So that the difference between opportunities and threats is obtained 2.12; formulate the SPACE matrix so that PT Maraja Mediatama Indonesia is located in the aggressive quadrant. Where the company can use its internal strengths to take advantage of external opportunities; next is to formulate the IE matrix so that the position of PT Maraja Mediatama Indonesia is in a position to hold and maintain; and the last is to formulate the QSPM matrix. Based on the results of the TAS calculation, the most desirable and prioritized strategy to be carried out is to improve product quality and service quality and improve the quality of human resources with a TAS score of 6.634. The second strategy is to further improve the quality and quality of service by developing new strategies with a TAS score of 6.145. The third strategy is to increase promotional activities and the number of human resources with a TAS score of 6.382. Furthermore, maintaining affordable prices and expanding market share can be used to attract consumers with a TAS score of 6.076. So it can be concluded that the prioritized strategy is to improve product quality and service quality and improve the quality of human resources so as to produce products that can attract the purchasing power of customers / consumers.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the increase in the competency of teaching staff through school learning communities in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province. This research was carried out at eight elementary schools in North Penajam Paser Regency, namely: SDN 009 Babulu, SDN 022 Babulu, SDN 023 Babulu, SD Muhammadiyah Babulu, SDN 003 Waru, SDN 006 Waru, SDN 009 Waru and SDN 011 Babulu. Data collection for this qualitative research was carried out using questionnaires from 8 school principals and 8 teachers as respondents. The results of the questionnaire that were returned and valid were 16 people. Data processing uses descriptive analysis from the results of observations and FGD in learning communities. What was discussed and the data obtained were supporting factors for increasing the competence of teaching staff and learning community activity strategies as a solution for increasing the competence of teaching staff. Qualitative data analysis is interview data selected and classified based on the interviewee's answers to interview questions in accordance with structural coding or guidelines that have been created by the researcher. The results of this research conclude that there are several supporting factors for increasing the competence of teaching staff and through learning community activity strategies as a solution to increasing the competence of teaching staff in elementary schools in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment, leadership style through job satisfaction at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of West Sulawesi Province. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. From the total population data, the Slovin formula is used to obtain a sample of 131 respondents. The analysis conducted is Outer Model Analysis consisting of Convergent Validity test, Discriminant Validity test, Composite Reliability test, Average Variance Extracted (AVE) value and Inner Model Analysis consisting of R Square test, Q Square, Direct and Indirect Influence Test and hypothesis test by looking at T and P Values. This analysis uses Partial Least Square (PLS) using SmarthPLS 3.0 software. Based on the analysis results, the Work Environment does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance (0.383 > 0.05), the Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (0.000 < 0.05), Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (0.013 < 0.05), Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (0.000 < 0.05), Job Satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect on Employee Performance (0.019> 0.05), the Work Environment does not have a positive and not significant effect on Employee Performance if through job satisfaction (0.051> 0.05), Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance if through Job Satisfaction (0.028 > 0.05).

Abstract

This research aims to see efforts to realize the goals of archival management in the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Sector at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, West Sulawesi Province. namely, Orderly Optimization of Archives and Quality of Archives Services through maximizing institutional awareness of the prospects for archives policies, quality of archives services, archives funding, archives management, archives organizations, archives infrastructure and facilities, and archives resources. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Direct interviews from various informants, namely the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, West Sulawesi Province, the Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Division, Archives Managers and Archives Service Users were carried out to collect data. Next, the data obtained will be analyzed and studied by researchers. The research results show that the optimization of orderly archives and the quality of archival services in the field of organizing the Hajj and Umrah has been carried out well in 3 aspects, namely orderly archive policy, archive management and human resources. However, there are 3 (three) that still need to be optimized, namely orderly facilities and archival infrastructure, orderly organization and archival funding.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of culture and work discipline on the performance of Port Police Personnel in Makassar. This research uses quantitative methods to assess the influence of work culture and work discipline on the performance of port police personnel in Makassar. Data was obtained from 147 personnel using questionnaires and primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis used IBM SPSS Statistics Version 25.0, including classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression to evaluate the influence of variables. The research results show that work culture has a positive and significant effect on personnel performance, work discipline has a positive and significant relationship with personnel performance and work culture and work discipline together have a significant effect on personnel performance. For research suggestions, to maintain work culture and work discipline among personnel, you can create and implement a reward or incentive system as a form of appreciation for employees who consistently show high commitment to work culture and work discipline. Reward systems may include bonuses, public recognition, or opportunities for career development as additional forms of motivation for dedicated Personnel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and motivation on employee performance at PT Eka Mas Republik Branch Makassar. The object of this study is PT. Eka Mas Republik which is engaged in the FTTH sector. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to examine more deeply about leadership and motivation. The respondents as samples in this study were employees at PT Eka Mas Republik totaling 30 people. The results of this study indicate that there is a partial and simultaneous influence of leadership and work motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

Trust between the founding and successor generations plays a crucial role in the success of family business succession. This study aims to identify the main factors that influence the level of trust in the family business succession process. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study analyses several family businesses that are undergoing or have undergone succession. Data were collected through in-depth questionnaires with prospective successors. The results of the study revealed that there are several main factors that contribute to the level of trust in succession, namely the experience and competence of the successor, open communication between generations, early involvement of the successor in the business, transparency in decision-making, and family support. In addition, family values ​​and organizational culture also play a role in strengthening or weakening trust. The conclusion of this study confirms that building trust in succession requires a long-term strategy that involves developing successor capabilities, effective communication, and clear and structured succession planning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and attitude on the entrepreneurial achievement of students at Ciputra Makassar Campus. Achievement motivation and risk-taking attitude are psychological factors that contribute to entrepreneurial success. This research employs a quantitative method with a sample of 100 students from various disciplines at Ciputra Makassar Campus. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with the aid of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The findings indicate that motivation does not have a direct significant effect on entrepreneurial achievement. However, motivation has a positive and significant effect on attitude, which ultimately impacts entrepreneurial achievement. Attitude is proven to be a key factor contributing to students' entrepreneurial success. Therefore, strengthening programs that enhance students' positive attitudes toward entrepreneurship is necessary to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Research from around the world has proven that financial literacy is lower, particularly among the youth, which causes serious problems about individuals' ability to secure their financial well-being. Changing circumstances drive the changing needs of individuals, along with the dynamic nature of financial products. Therefore, this research aims to examine financial literacy among young people, particularly university students at Ciputra University Makassar. This research is quantitative. The population in this study is Ciputra University Makassar students. The sample used in this study consists of 51 students from Ciputra University Makassar. The sampling technique uses a questionnaire. This research collects primary data by distributing questionnaires to Ciputra University Makassar students. The method used in this study is the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that financial awareness has a significant impact on financial skills. Financial awareness has a significant effect on financial capability, while financial skills do not significantly affect financial capability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school leadership and school culture in achieving the success of the Healthy and Child-Friendly School program at SD Negeri 013 Penajam District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency. A qualitative descriptive research approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The informants included the principal, teachers, parents, and students directly involved in the program's implementation. The research findings indicate that school leadership plays a key role in the success of the Healthy and Child-Friendly School program. A democratic, innovative, and cooperative leadership style fosters an environment that supports active participation from all school stakeholders, including teachers, students, and parents. The principal actively provides motivation, formulates policies, and ensures the availability of supporting facilities such as a healthy canteen, health clinic (UKS), school gardens, and anti-bullying campaigns. Through the synergy between visionary leadership and a positive school culture, the Healthy and Child-Friendly School program at SD Negeri 013 has been effectively implemented, providing significant benefits for students in terms of health, well-being, and character building. This study recommends the sustainability of the program through regular evaluations, improved supporting facilities, and ongoing collaboration between schools, parents, and relevant stakeholders.
