Abstract

Abstrak The workshop aims to strengthen the competence of elementary school teacher in implementing in-depth learning through the integration of digital technology such as the Word wall platform, LearningApps and YouTube. This activity is a Community Service of Elementary School Teacher Education, Universitas Pelita Bangsa which involves elementary schools in the Wanajaya Cluster, Cibitung, Bekasi. Specifically, 27 teachers and 1 principal of SDN Wanajaya 3, and 4 students were involved in the training class on Integrating Digital Technology in Deep Learning Models. The workshop was carried out in three stages, the preparation stage where the community service team prepared the workshop offline by inviting several schools in Wanajaya to collaborate with the MoU and IA Cooperation. In the implementation stage, workshop participants participated in theoretical presentations and guided practice in using digital platforms to explore in-depth learning interactively, then evaluation was carried out via GForm. The evaluation results showed that 81% assessed that the presenter mastered the material very well, 82% assessed that the material was easy to understand, 83% assessed that the presenter actively involved the participants very well, 86% assessed that the material explanation strategy was very effective, and 88% assessed that the presenter stimulated participant discussion very well. Thus, this in-depth learning workshop integrated with digital technology effectively improves teacher competency. Keywords: Workshop; Technology; Deep Learning; Elementary School Teachers Abstract This Workshop bertujuan menguatkan kompetensi Guru SD dalam implementasi pembelajaran mendalam melalui integrasi teknologi digital seperti platform Wordwall, LearningApps dan YouTube. Kegiatan ini merupakan Pengabdian Masyarakat PGSD Universitas Pelita Bangsa yang melibatkan SD di Gugus Wanajaya, Cibitung, Bekasi. Secara khusus yang mengikuti kelas pelatihan Integrasi Teknologi Digital dalam Model-model Pembelajaran Mendalam sebanyak 27 Guru dan 1 Kepala Sekolah SDN Wanajaya 3, dan 4 Mahasiswa yang dilibatkan. Workshop dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, tahap persiapan tim pengabdian mempersiapkan workshop secara luring dengan mengajak kerjasama beberapa sekolah di Wanajaya dengan MoU dan IA Kerjasama. Tahap implementasi, peserta workshop mengikuti pemaparan teori dan praktik terbimbing dalam penggunaan platform digital untuk mengeksplorasi pembelajaran mendalam secara interaktif, kemudian pada evaluasi dilaksanakan via GForm. Hasil evaluasi 81% menilai pemateri menguasai materi sangat baik, 82% menilai materi mudah dipahami, 83% pemateri melibatkan secara aktif peserta sangat baik, 86% strategi penjelasan materi sangat efektif, 88% pemateri menstimulus diskusi peserta sangat baik. 86% pemateri dinilai sangat baik mengelola waktu, 81% Pemateri dinilai sangat efektif menggunakan teknologi. 86% menilai sikap dan interaksi pemateri terhadap peserta sangat baik, 82% menilai materi relevan dengan kebutuhan guru SD, 86% peserta dinilai mampu memberikan contoh nyata pembelajaran di kelas, 87% menilai Workshop yang dilaksanakan sangat bermanfaat, solutif dan inovatif, 100% menilai Workshop Pembelajaran Mendalam Mudah diikuti dan 55% Guru merasa mudah menggunakan YouTube, 35,7% Wordwall, 11% LearningApps, dan 8,5% Mentimeter. Dengan demikian workshop pembelajaran mendalam terintegrasi teknologi digital ini efektif meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Kata kunci: Workshop; Teknologi; Pembelajaran Mendalam; Guru Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Abstract: Computational thinking has become an essential skill in the digital era; however, access to programming education remains limited, especially for children in orphanages. This community service activity aims to improve basic programming understanding through Scratch-based learning for children at Wisma Anak-Anak Harapan Orphanage. The method employed includes preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages using an interactive and fun learning approach. The participants consisted of 10 elementary school students who were introduced to fundamental programming concepts such as using sprites, arranging command blocks, and integrating sound. The results indicate that most participants were able to understand and practice basic programming concepts, achieving fair to good performance levels. However, younger participants still required assistance in understanding algorithmic sequences. Overall, Scratch proved to be an effective and engaging medium to enhance children’s initial programming skills, highlighting its importance as an adaptive learning tool. Keywords: Scratch, Basic Programming, Computational Thinking, Elementary Students, Community Service Abstrak:  Keterampilan berpikir komputasional menjadi kompetensi penting di era digital, namun masih terbatas diperoleh oleh anak-anak di lingkungan panti asuhan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dasar pemrograman melalui media Scratch pada anak-anak di Panti Asuhan Wisma Anak-Anak Harapan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dengan pendekatan pembelajaran interaktif berbasis fun learning. Peserta berjumlah 10 siswa sekolah dasar yang diberikan materi dasar pemrograman seperti penggunaan sprite, blok perintah, dan integrasi suara. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mampu memahami dan mempraktikkan konsep dasar pemrograman dengan kategori capaian cukup baik hingga baik. Namun, peserta usia lebih rendah masih memerlukan pendampingan dalam memahami alur algoritma. Secara keseluruhan, penggunaan Scratch terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan awal pemrograman anak-anak, sehingga penting untuk diterapkan sebagai media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan adaptif. Abstract

Abstrak Permasalahan sampah global menuntut penanganan sistematis sejak dini, namun SD Adhi Mekar Indonesia (AMI) belum memiliki sistem pemilahan sampah terstandar. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan keterampilan praktis siswa menggunakan kerangka kerja Design Thinking. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan 25 siswa kelas 6 melalui sosialisasi interaktif, gim edukatif berbasis pengalaman, dan pemasangan poster pendidikan. Evaluasi keberhasilan program diukur secara kuantitatif dengan membandingkan tingkat akurasi pemilahan sampah pada sesi praktik mandiri (sebelum pendampingan) dan sesi terbimbing (setelah pendampingan), yang diperkuat dengan wawancara evaluasi daring bersama guru dan siswa. Media visual juga terbukti efektif sebagai pengingat perilaku proaktif. Simpulan dari pengabdian ini adalah pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman sangat adaptif dengan karakteristik kognitif siswa sekolah dasar. Praktik ini perlu diintegrasikan ke dalam regulasi sekolah dan didukung infrastruktur permanen guna menjamin keberlanjutan budaya peduli lingkungan jangka panjang. Abstract Global waste management issues require systematic intervention from an early age. However, SD Adhi Mekar Indonesia (AMI) has not yet implemented a standardized waste segregation system. This community service program aimed to improve students’ environmental awareness and practical waste-sorting skills using the Design Thinking framework. The implementation involved 25 sixth-grade students through interactive socialization sessions, experience-based educational games, and the installation of educational posters. Program effectiveness was quantitatively evaluated by comparing the accuracy of waste segregation during independent practice sessions (before assistance) and guided practice sessions (after assistance), supported by online evaluation interviews with teachers and students. Visual media also proved effective as a reminder to encourage proactive behavior. The results indicate that experiential learning is highly adaptive to the cognitive characteristics of elementary school students. This practice should be integrated into school regulations and supported by permanent infrastructure to ensure the long-term sustainability of an environmentally responsible culture. Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman literasi awal dan pengenalan bahasa asing, khususnya Bahasa Inggris dasar, pada anak-anak Suku Anak Dalam di Desa Gading Jaya, Kecamatan Tabir Selatan, Kabupaten Merangin. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat terhadap komunitas adat yang masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam akses pendidikan dan perkembangan literasi. Anak-anak Suku Anak Dalam umumnya mengalami kesulitan dalam berinteraksi serta memahami penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar, termasuk dalam pengenalan Bahasa Inggris dasar. Namun demikian, masyarakat Suku Anak Dalam di Desa Gading Jaya mulai menunjukkan perubahan positif terhadap pendidikan dan perkembangan zaman, ditandai dengan meningkatnya minat anak-anak untuk mengikuti pembelajaran di sekolah terdekat. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan kemampuan literasi dan pengetahuan dasar Bahasa Inggris anak-anak dapat berkembang sehingga mampu mendukung proses belajar dan interaksi sosial mereka di lingkungan masyarakat yang lebih luas. Abstract This community service program aims to improve early literacy understanding and introduce foreign languages, especially basic English, to children of the Suku Anak Dalam community in Gading Jaya Village, Tabir Selatan District, Merangin Regency. The program was conducted as a form of community service for an indigenous community that still faces limitations in educational access and literacy development. Children of the Suku Anak Dalam generally experience difficulties in social interaction and in understanding proper Indonesian language usage, including basic English. Nevertheless, the Suku Anak Dalam community in Gading Jaya Village has begun to show positive changes toward education and modern development, as reflected in the increasing interest of children in attending nearby schools. Through this program, it is expected that children’s literacy skills and basic English knowledge can improve to support their learning process and social interaction within the wider community.
