Abstract

The pandemic period teaches teachers to continue to guide and teach with the aim that early childhood development can be optimal both physically and psychologically, Children are the greatest deposit given by the creator, therefore early childhood also has extraordinary intelligence, there are 3 intelligences that possessed by children, namely brain intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ), and spiritual intelligence (SQ). but spiritual intelligence that makes children able to balance the three intelligences. Abstract

Social aspects in early childhood are very important to be developed from an early age. Children who are socially emotionally intelligent will lead them to have a wide social network and in the future will have good cooperation skills. Therefore, in this New Normal period, the role of parents, teachers, and the surrounding environment is very important to support the development of their child's emotional intelligence. In schools, creative teachers are needed in delivering learning. In the aspect of achieving children's social emotional development which includes children being able to obey school rules, children willing to share with friends, showing enthusiasm in playing games, and being able to control feelings (angry, afraid, happy). There are many ways to develop emotional social in children, including a teacher, parent or people around the child making him a good example for children, public figures. In addition, invite children to play with peers, introduce children to new experiences. One of the best efforts to develop aspects of children's social-emotional development is through the media of hand puppets, with this media it is likely that children are able to interact with peers very well.

Abstract

This research was conducted to increase reading creativity with the help of flashcard media in children aged 4-5 years and can find out the role of teachers in developing pre-reading stimulation in children aged 4-5 years in Islamic Kindergarten Allam Pelem Watu Menganti Gresik through flashcard media. This study uses a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were 10 children aged 4-5 years, 6 boys and 4 girls and 2 teachers of class A group. Researchers collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results, this study was able to improve aspects of the pre-reading development of children aged 4-5 years so that they developed very well. Judging from the results of observations in the field, the use of stimulating pre-reading through flashcard media to improve the pre-reading development of children aged 4-5 years is the use of the flashcard method equipped with interesting and varied pictures. This is evidenced from the results of the checklist on the assessment of pre-reading developmental aspects of group A children aged 4-5 years, that when using the story method and without using interesting and varied pictures, there are some children who still lack a sense of self-awareness, responsibility and prosocial behavior.

Abstract

The family environment becomes a cultural literacy clinic, so that the habit of reading continues to be encouraged starting from the time the child is a member of the family. Families need to be able to support each other and optimize as best they can to design their family members to have an interest in reading without having to be ordered but as a lifestyle requirement in the family environment itself. For this reason, the family environment that is built must become a planned literacy culture clinic. The literacy culture clinic that is raised for each family member is needed to have a positive impact on children from an early age if the components involved can support each other and create harmony that builds a reading society. Literacy is an literacy, which is a set of individual skills in terms of reading, writing, speaking, arithmetic and solving simple problems of everyday life. Literacy culture is intended to carry out thinking habits followed by a process of reading, writing or other skills which in the end what children do in a process of these activities will create works. The family environment is a very important component in producing a society. The habits of a child formed by a family environment will greatly affect the macro culture of society related to literacy of society. The built family environment should have the principles of mobilizing and motivating, purposeful, experience oriented, recognition and reward, social transmission, and exemplary by parents. (parents provide examples). Just like being a clinic that facilitates a service related to literacy, it is necessary to prepare a home environment that can support the habit of literacy. The most important part to realize a literacy culture clinic at home is to prepare "adequate management of learning resources and adapted to the needs of each child's age". The conclusion is a cultural literacy clinic in the family environment. If it continues to function, then the benefits of the services that have been provided will be able to familiarize family members into families who like to read, improve communication between families, discussion will be a solution or a way out to solve problems, increase innovative and creative thinking and rich in information experience.

Abstract

Playing is the most fun thing for children. Therefore, teachers must be creative and innovative in developing methods of learning to play that are fun for children. Teachers must understand the character of the children they teach. That way the learning objectives will be achieved optimally. The method of playing motion and songs, one of which can be an alternative for teachers to improve children's social emotional development. The research method used in this study is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. And the data analysis uses the triangulation technique method, which combines data obtained from observation, interviews and documentation methods. fast tempo and varied movements. So that the scope of children's social emotional development which includes self-awareness, a sense of responsibility towards themselves and others as well as prosocial behavior of children can "develop very well".

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has not yet ended in Indonesia, has had an unfavorable impact on various fronts, one of which is the world of education. Education units are forced to carry out online learning. Parental support is needed so that the learning process continues optimally and children's interest in learning remains high. With the use of Loose Parts-based media, children are expected to remain creative and enthusiastic while studying at home, then parents are expected to be able to understand and facilitate the media used by children during the pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Loose Parts-based media approach to increase children's enthusiasm and creativity during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a literature review method by collecting data and phenomena from the best sources. The results of this study indicate that the use of Loose Parts-based media is effective in increasing children's creativity and enthusiasm for learning from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study presents the improvement of early childhood development through the game method. This aims to determine the application of the game method in early childhood and what efforts are used to improve the social development of early childhood. Games are physical activities in the form of small groups that allow collaboration between students. There are various kind of games that are applied to early childhood effectively so that they can optimize the social development of early childhood both at school and the surrounding and environtment. Analysis of the data used by observation, interviews and documentation. Sources of data from this study include the community, teachers, and children. Based on the results of the study, it can be interpreted that applying the game method to early childhood in social development by getting used to grouping children randomly can increase cooperation between students so that children’s ability to socialize with friends, teachers and surrounding environment also increases.
