Abstract

Conventional household electricity monitoring often lacks granular, real-time insights into individual appliance consumption due to expensive or complex dedicated metering hardware. This study proposes a low-cost IoT-based electricity monitoring architecture specifically optimized for low-to-medium household capacity ranges (450 VA, 900 VA, and 1300 VA). Using an ESP32 DEVKIT V1, ACS712 current sensor, ZMPT101B voltage sensor, I2C LCD, and Telegram Bot, the proposed system provides continuous remote data transmission while effectively capturing transient current anomalies and fluctuating load characteristics under strict hardware budget limits. Experimental evaluations across five typical household appliances (dispenser, refrigerator, rice cooker, fan, and iron) demonstrate the system's operational viability and transient response. While steady-state loads like fans (−9.2% to +9.1% deviation) align closely with theoretical models, highly cyclic and inductive loads highlight the necessity of high-frequency sampling and extended monitoring periods. The system successfully delivers real-time local display and Telegram notification with an average transmission error below 5%, proving to be an accessible, low-cost solution for residential energy management.

Abstract

Health service quality is essential for improving community health, especially at village healthcare facilities. This study analyzed the service quality of Kendalpecabean Village Health Post (Poskesdes), Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency, using the SERVQUAL dimensions. A descriptive qualitative case study was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the village treasurer, village midwife, health cadres, and service users selected purposively. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the tangible, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy dimensions have been implemented well, supported by adequate facilities, competent personnel, clear service schedules, positive Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) results, and friendly services. However, the reliability dimension remains suboptimal due to the absence of a Village Decree and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Strengthening governance, improving facilities, adding health personnel, and extending service hours are recommended to improve service quality.

Abstract

The growth of social media has made Instagram an important platform for disseminating health information, including medical cannabis, which remains a controversial issue in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the construction of persuasive messages in medical cannabis educational content on the Instagram account @tm420.id. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis, the study analyzed 20 posts consisting of 14 carousel posts and 6 reels. The analysis focused on persuasive message forms, message appeals, persuasion routes based on the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), and visual rhetoric. The findings reveal that argumentative messages dominate the content, supported by informative and educational messages. Rational appeal serves as the primary persuasive strategy through the presentation of facts, empirical evidence, research findings, regulatory developments, and scientific references. Nineteen posts primarily employ the central route, while one post relies more on the peripheral route. Visual rhetoric, including carousels, infographics, typography, illustrations, and screenshots of scientific journals and official documents, enhances credibility and facilitates audience understanding.

Abstract

Cooperation skills are an important aspect of early childhood social-emotional development that needs to be fostered from kindergarten. Based on initial observations in Group B of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 87 Mojosari, some children were still unable to cooperate optimally in group activities, were less active in helping their peers, and had difficulty participating in completing group tasks. This study aims to improve children’s cooperation skills through the Cooperative Adventure Mission game in Group B of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 87 Mojosari during the 2026/2027 academic year. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 24 children. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes, and analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The success criterion was set at a minimum of 85% of children achieving the expected developmental criteria for cooperation skills. The implementation of the Cooperative Adventure Missiongame is expected to improve children’s cooperation skills through activities involving communication, collaboration, mutual assistance, and completing missions in groups. This game is also expected to serve as an innovative, active, and enjoyable alternative learning strategy for developing early childhood social-emotional skills.

Abstract

The Korean Wave phenomenon has positioned music concerts as cultural consumption activities and business communication practices with high economic value among K-Pop fans. The growth of fandom-based entertainment industries has made promotional communication strategies an important factor in building consumer attention, trust, and purchase intention toward entertainment products. This study aims to analyze the effect of promotional communication strategy on ticket purchase intention for the EXhOrizon concert among EXO fans in Yogyakarta from a business communication perspective. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design using a survey method involving 384 respondents determined through the Lemeshow formula and non-probability purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire based on two main constructs: promotional communication strategy, including source credibility and artist image, message clarity and attractiveness, social media channel intensity, community emotional engagement, and communication evaluation; and ticket purchase intention measured using the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action). Data were analyzed using simple linear regression and statistical testing. The results indicate that promotional communication strategy and ticket purchase intention were categorized as very high. Promotional communication strategy has a positive and significant effect on ticket purchase intention, contributing 53.9%. This study provides empirical evidence regarding the role of multidimensional business communication strategies in shaping fan consumption behavior in the K-Pop concert industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between self-concept and career maturity among final-year students at Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. The participants consisted of 150 final-year students selected using a convenience sampling technique. The research instruments included a self-concept scale and a career maturity scale. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The results of Spearman’s rank correlation analysis revealed a correlation coefficient (rₛ) of 0.894, indicating a very strong positive correlation, with a p-value of < 0.001. The coefficient of determination (r²) was 0.799, indicating that the squared correlation was approximately 79.9%, describing shared variation without establishing causality. These findings demonstrate a statistically significant positive relationship between self-concept and career maturity among final-year students at Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. Thus, higher levels of self-concept are associated with higher levels of career maturity, and vice versa.

Abstract

Communication serves as the fundamental basis of social interaction, playing a critical role in shaping adolescent character and behavior. However, a lack of understanding regarding communication ethics in Lewobelen Village has triggered negative behaviors such as bullying and juvenile delinquency. This community service program aims to educate local youth on communication ethics as a foundational step toward fostering social harmony and reducing juvenile delinquency. The implementation method utilized a participatory approach encompassing socialization, group discussions, interactive simulations, social campaigns, and evaluations. The target participants were students and teachers of SDK Lewobelen. The program focused on strengthening students' understanding of bullying prevention and fostering positive communication habits in the school environment.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of academic supervision on educational quality with collaborative culture and teachers' pedagogical competence as mediating variables. The study was motivated by the tendency of academic supervision to remain administrative and by the need to strengthen schools' internal capacity to improve educational quality. A quantitative causal design was employed. The population consisted of 183 teachers from five public senior high schools in Central Jakarta Area II, and all population members were included using a census sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results show that academic supervision has a positive and significant effect on collaborative culture (β=0.743; t=14.412; p<0.001) and teachers' pedagogical competence (β=0.724; t=11.969; p<0.001). Collaborative culture positively and significantly affects educational quality (β=0.522; t=5.707; p<0.001), as does teachers' pedagogical competence (β=0.267; t=2.468; p=0.014). However, the direct effect of academic supervision on educational quality is not significant (β=0.088; t=1.058; p=0.291). Collaborative culture mediates the relationship between academic supervision and educational quality (β=0.388; t=5.387; p<0.001), while pedagogical competence also mediates the relationship (β=0.194; t=2.280; p=0.023). The findings indicate that academic supervision becomes more effective when transformed from an administrative activity into a developmental process that strengthens professional collaboration and teachers' pedagogical competence.

Abstract

This study analyzes the historical transformation of promotional posters for Honkai: Star Rail during the 2023–2025 period, focusing on visual composition, illustration, color, typography, cultural elements, and communication strategies. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a historical approach, examining 12 promotional posters from the game selected from different periods between 2023 and 2025. The analysis applies a visual analysis approach based on the identification of visual elements, including composition, illustration, color, typography, and cultural visual elements. In 2023, poster compositions were relatively simple and emphasized character introduction and the establishment of the game's initial visual identity. In 2024, the designs became more dynamic through the integration of cultural elements, improved lighting, perspective exploration, and more complex compositions. By 2025, the posters demonstrated highly detailed illustrations, semi-realistic rendering, atmospheric color schemes, and cinematic compositions. These developments reflect not only advances in digital illustration technology but also HoYoverse's visual communication strategy in constructing distinct identities for each game world. Thus, promotional posters function as both informational media and visual narrative tools.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of work experience, workload, and educational background on employee performance at CV. Citra Langgeng Cemerlang, Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency. A quantitative survey design was employed. The population and sample consisted of 70 employees selected using saturated sampling. Data were collected through a five-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed using validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, Pearson correlation, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that work experience has no significant effect on performance (B=-0.051; p=0.654), while workload has a positive and significant effect (B=0.779; p=0.001) and educational background has a positive and significant effect (B=0.485; p=0.035). Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect employee performance (F=46.860; p<0.001). The R² value of 0.681 indicates that 68.1% of performance variation is explained by the model, while 31.9% is explained by factors outside the model. The findings highlight the importance of workload management and educational-job alignment, while work experience should be integrated with competency development and performance evaluation.
