Abstract

Kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu komponen pendidikan yang berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. keberhasilan pendidikan sekolah sangat ditentukan oleh keberhasilan kepala sekolah dalam mengelola tenaga kependidikan yang tersedia di sekolah. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMPN 2 Banjarnegara. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Hal ini terbukti dari kurikulum, kesiswaan, sarana prasarana dan prestasi belajar siswa yang berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai standar kinerja guru. Tanggapan atau respon guru terhadap pendekatan kepemimpinan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah cukup baik. Oleh karena itu, kinerja guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja. Top of Form

Abstract

The differentiation of the curriculum has become a significant topic in the field of education, particularly at the secondary school level. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of differentiated curriculum and its impact on students' academic achievements. Focusing on how this approach has been applied in specific secondary schools, the study places a central emphasis on students' responses to the differentiated curriculum. Individual student characteristics, such as learning styles and levels of understanding, are also taken into account in the analysis of the effectiveness of the differentiated curriculum. This evaluation provides an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities in implementing this approach at the secondary school level, with the hope of contributing to the development of more responsive and inclusive educational policies.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning Models (PBP) have received significant attention in higher education contexts due to their potential to stimulate student creativity. This research explores the impact of PBP implementation in increasing student creativity. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected from research participants who were students who had participated in learning experiences with PBP. The research results showed that the majority of students expressed increased creative skills, including the ability to think out-of-the-box, face challenges with innovative solutions, and integrate various concepts to create new solutions. In addition, they also feel more motivated and actively involved in learning because the projects they participate in allow them to be involved in situations that are similar to real life. Collaboration between students also plays an important role in stimulating creativity, enabling the exchange of ideas, mutual support, and exploring innovative solutions. Lecturers and educational policy makers need to consider integrating PBL in curriculum design and learning practices to prepare students to face the demands of an increasingly complex world of work with high levels of creativity and confidence. In conclusion, PBP not only increases students' creativity, but also helps them apply theoretical knowledge in relevant and real contexts.

Abstract

Al-Quran is a holy book that was revealed by Allah to the Ummi Prophet Muhammad SAW, as one of the incomparable graces for the universe. Muslims feel that it is a great worship to memorize Al-Quran ul Karim. People who memorize are highly exalted and respected. Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Nurul Islam Kraton is an educational institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion which requires its students to memorize the Qur'an, especially juz amma. To obtain the data needed in this study, data collection methods were used to achieve the specified goals, while the methods used in data collection were observation, interviews and documentaries. The data collection method is carried out in a predetermined sample. In this study, researchers used qualitative data analysis of descriptive data. From the data obtained and analyzed, it can be concluded that the application of the method of reading habituation in improving students' ability to memorize juz amma at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Nurul Islam Kraton, Yosowilangun District, Lumajang Regency has been carried out in a good and professional manner, but needs to be improved. Among them: a) The planning application of the reading habituation method has been going well, namely leading to needs which include activities, namely, identification of needs, and identification of competencies. Which has all gone well. b) The application of the implementation of the reading habituation method has been going well, this is proven by the use of methods, media and implementation times that are as expected. c) The application for evaluating the reading habituation method is carried out in two ways, namely by test and non-test and everything is going well.

Abstract

Early childhood character education is crucial in shaping individuals with tolerant, inclusive, and moderate attitudes, especially in a pluralistic society. One of the instruments that can be used to instill the values ??of religious moderation in children is Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which is implemented in early childhood education institutions (PAUD). This study aims to analyze the role of PAI in building moderate character in early childhood at PAUD SPS Teratai 23 Kencong, focusing on applying religious moderation values, such as tolerance, respect for differences, and cooperation. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study at PAUD SPS Teratai 23 Kencong, which examines learning activities that integrate the values ??of moderation in children's daily lives. The study results indicate that the PAI program at PAUD SPS Teratai 23 Kencong has succeeded in teaching moderation values ??through various activities involving children's moral, social, and spiritual aspects. However, several challenges are faced, including a lack of parental understanding of diverse moderation, the influence of social media that can introduce extreme views, and differences of opinion among teachers. This study concludes that collaboration between schools, parents, and the community is essential to ensure the consistent implementation of moderation values so that moderation-based education can shape children's characters to be more inclusive and able to live harmoniously in a diverse society.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ulama dan tokoh agama dalam menanggulangi berbagai permasalahan sosial, Pendidikan dan keagamaan di masyarakat melalui pendekatan edukatif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring dengan melibatkan dosen dari Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember, UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas, Universitas Serambi Makkah, dan STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendidikan masyarakat, pelatihan, mediasi, dan advokasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait moderasi beragama, kemampuan penggunaan media digital, strategi dakwah berbasis digital, serta kemampuan penyelesaian konflik sosial-keagamaan. Secara kualitatif, kegiatan ini meningkatkan kesadaran peserta mengenai pentingnya peran tokoh agama dalam menjaga harmonisasi sosial masyarakat dan menyebarkan nilai-nilai toleransi serta moderasi beragama. Kegiatan ini juga memperlihatkan bahwa pendekatan kolaboratif dan pemanfaatan media daring efektif dalam memperluas jangkauan pemberdayaan masyarakat lintas daerah. Dengan demikian, pemberdayaan ulama dan tokoh agama berbasis digital dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam menanggulangi berbagai persoalan sosial dan keagamaan di masyarakat.

Abstract

Based on field research and analysis, the stimulation of children’s memory skills has not been optimally facilitated through learning media that are relevant, enjoyable, and aligned with their developmental stages. There is a need for learning innovations based on structured play; one potential alternative that remains rarely studied in Early Childhood Education settings is simple and concrete unplugged coding media. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing Micro Coding Play media in improving memory skills among Group B early childhood students at RA Tarbiyatul Huda. This research adopts a qualitative approach using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, carried out in three stages: pre-action, Cycle I, and Cycle II. The research subjects consisted of 15 children — 10 boys and 5 girls. Memory assessment focused on three key indicators: (1) remembering simple instructions, (2) sequencing activity steps, and (3) imitating simple patterns using Micro Coding Play media. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and field notes, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods and presented by cycle. Classical success criteria were defined as met when at least 80% of the research subjects achieved the “Developing as Expected” or “Developing Very Well” categories. The results showed a significant improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II. Achievement for the indicator of remembering simple instructions increased from 20% to 80%, the ability to sequence activity steps rose from 20% to 93%, and the skill to imitate simple patterns improved from 27% to 93%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Micro Coding Play media is proven effective as an unplugged coding-based cognitive stimulation tool that suits the characteristics and learning styles of young children. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of English vocabulary mastery among early childhood learners at RA Al Falah Pondok Lalang, particularly in their ability to remember and pronounce basic vocabulary such as color names. The limited variety of learning media used in the classroom was assumed to be a major factor contributing to the lack of stimulation received by the children, which consequently affected the slow development of their vocabulary skills. To address this issue, pom-pom media was introduced as an alternative learning tool considered appropriate for early childhood learners. Its bright colors and multisensory characteristics were believed to increase children’s learning enthusiasm while also facilitating vocabulary comprehension. The purpose of this study was to improve the English vocabulary mastery of children aged 4–5 years through the implementation of pom-pom media in classroom learning activities. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through direct observation, assessment sheets, and documentation of learning activities. The findings revealed a significant improvement in children’s English vocabulary mastery, as indicated by the increase in achievement percentage from 48.9% in the pre-cycle stage to 88.6% at the end of Cycle I. These results indicate that pom-pom media is effective in enhancing English vocabulary acquisition among early childhood learners. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini di RA Al Falah Pondok Lalang, khususnya dalam kemampuan mengingat dan melafalkan kosakata dasar seperti nama-nama warna. Keterbatasan variasi media pembelajaran yang digunakan di kelas diduga menjadi faktor utama yang menyebabkan stimulasi yang diterima anak kurang beragam, sehingga berdampak pada lambatnya perkembangan kosakata mereka. Guna mengatasi persoalan tersebut, media pom-pom diperkenalkan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang dianggap sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak usia dini, mengingat karakteristiknya yang berwarna cerah dan bersifat multisensori dinilai mampu membangkitkan antusiasme belajar sekaligus mempermudah pemahaman kosakata. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak kelompok usia 4–5 tahun melalui penerapan media pom-pom dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang terdiri atas empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, lembar penilaian, dan dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan peningkatan yang signifikan, ditandai dengan naiknya persentase ketercapaian dari 48,9% pada tahap pra-siklus menjadi 88,6% pada akhir Siklus I. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa media pom-pom efektif digunakan sebagai sarana peningkatan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini.
