<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of role-playing in teaching speaking skills to students of class XI 19 Senior High School Makassar, and whether there is a significant difference between students who are trained in speaking skills using conventional methods and students who use role-playing techniques. This study uses a quantitative approach, namely experimental research with a pre-test and post-test research design and the sample of this study is 60 students. Researchers used two clasess and experimental class using role-playing techiquess and a control class using concetional methods. Meanwhile, in the last stage, the researcher gave a post-test in the same class to find out whether the role-playing techiquess was effective in teaching students speaking skills in the experimental class. The results of this study show the average pre-test in the experimental class (59.87%) and the control class (60.93%). The post-test average of the experimental class (84.40%) was higher than that of the control class (64.53%). This means that there is a difference between students who use role-playing techniquess abd students who uses conventional techniquess. Thus, teaching speaking using role-playing techniquess has a significant effect on improving students speaking skills. Therefore, it is suggested that the role-playing techniquess can be applied as an affective learning method for teachers to teach speaking skills anf for future researchers to use the same type of research under different conditions.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam film Sepatu Dahlan Karya Benni Setiawan dan manfaatnya dalam pembelajaran sosiologi di SMA. Jenis pendekatan pada penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif analisis dengan objek Film Sepatu Dahlan Karya Benni Setiawan sebagai sumber datanya. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data adalah analisis isi dengan menerapkan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat lima nilai pendidikan karakter dalam Film Sepatu Dahlan Karya Benni Setiawan yaitu nilai karakter dalam hubungannya dengan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa (Religius), nilai perilaku manusia dalam hubungannya dengan diri sendiri, nilai perilaku manusia dalam hubungannya dengan sesama manusia, nilai perilaku manusia dalam hubungannya dengan lingkungan dan nilai perilaku manusia dalam hubungannya dengan kebangsaan. Sedangkan manfaatnya terhadap pembelaran sosiologi di SMA, diantaranya: memvisualisasikan konsep-konsep sosiologi, Pemahaman nilai-nilai sosial, Pembelajaran karakter, Peningkatan keterlibatan sosial, Pengenalan peran individu dalam masyarakat.]]>

<![CDATA[Pengaruh bimbingan belajar orang tua terhadap disiplin belajar siswa kelas V DS Inpres Manggala Kota Makassar. Skripsi. Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Megarezky (dibimbing oleh Muh. Khaedar dan Bellona Mardhatillah Sabillah). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan belajar orang tua terhadap disiplin belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Manggala. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan di kelas V A/B yang terdiri dari 75 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan di kelas V B yang terdiri 39 siswa dari 20 laki‑laki dan 19 perempuan, dengan menggunakan teknik purpose sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari pembagian angket ke siswa dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik dan teknik analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis statistic deskriptif, bimbingan belajar orang tua dengan jumlah 74,28, dan disiplin belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 53,69. Analisis prasyarat hasil uji normalitas bimbingan belajar orang tua 0,657 sedangkan disiplin belajar siswa 0,168 (berdistribusi normal). kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh bimbingan belajar orang tua terhadap disiplin belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Manggala Kota Makassar.]]>

<![CDATA[Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan passing atas siswa kelas X Ips 1 SMA Negeri 3 Selayar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar passing atas siswa melalui model pembelajaran resiprocal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian PTK (Penelitian Tindak Kelas). Penelitian bertempat di SMA Negeri 3 Selayar. Adapun subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X Ips 1 SMA Negeri 3 Selayar yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan format observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Data awal sebelum penelitian hasil belajar passing atas permainan bola voli siswa adalah 17% tuntas dari jumlah 5 siswa dan 83% tidak tuntas dari jumlah 25 siswa Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dalam pembelajaran aktivitas belajar siswa, dapat dilihat pada pada siklus I yang tuntas itu 8 siswa dengan nilai presentase 27% sedangkan yang tidak tuntas 22 siswa dengan nilai presentase 73% dan siklus II yang tuntas itu 26 siswa dengan nilai presentase 87% sedangkan yang tidak tuntas itu 4 siswa dengan nilai presentase 13%. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran reciprocal dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar passing atas pada permainan bola voli siswa kelas X Ips 1 SMA Negeri 3 Selayar. sehingga penelitian dikatakan berhasil dan tidak dilanjutkan ke siklus selanjutnya.]]>

<![CDATA[Dengan masih rendahnya nilai yang diperoleh siswa ketika diberikan tes yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman bacaan, siswa kurang mampu menjawab pertanyaan dari bacaan yang telah di bacanya, siswa kurang mampu menjelaskan kembali isi bacaan yang dibacanya, dan siswa tidak ada yang bertanya kepada guru tentang isi teks bacaan yang kurang dipahaminya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode integratif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa pada mata pelajarana Bahasa Indonesia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V UPT SPF SD Negeri Butung I Kota Makassar dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 16 orang. Agar penelitian tindakan kelas ini berhasil dengan baik, peneliti menyusun tahapan-tahapan yang dilalui dalam penelitian tindakan kelas, yaitu: 1) Perencanaan Tindakan, 2) Pelaksanaan Tindakan, 3) Observasi, 4) Refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat diketahui bahwa dengan penerapan metode integratif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dari sebelum tindakan, siklus I, dan siklus II. Pada sebelum tindakan diketahui rata-rata 7 orang siswa yang tuntas atau ketuntasan klasikal hanya mencapai 43,75%, pada siklus I ratarata siswa yang tuntas meningkat menjadi 9,5 atau dengan ketuntasan klasikal 59,38%, sedangkan pada siklus II ketuntasan siswa meningkat dengan rata-rata 13 orang siswa atau ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 81,25%. Dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan penerapan metode integratif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V UPT SPF SD Negeri Butung I Kota Makassar.]]>

<![CDATA[Technological developments in this modern era have made many people accustomed to using technology that is fast and easily accessible anywhere as an information space, especially in the world of technology. One of the information technologies used by researchers in this research is online social media, namely the YouTube application media. This research aims to determine the impact of YouTube English videos on students' listening skills at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa. This research is quasi-experimental research using the Control class and the Experiment class. The sample for this research consisted of 30 Experiment class students and 30 Control class students at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa. The results of this research show that the post-test results for the Experiment class have an average score of 78.50 and the pre-test is 69.07, while the post-test for the Control class has an average score of 51.57 and the pre-test is 34.97. The results of the data were analyzed using the Paired t-test, which showed that Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 lower than 0.05 so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. These results show the Impact of YouTube Videos on Listening Skills Student. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the YouTube application media is effective and has an impact on the listening skills of class X SMA Negeri 10 Gowa.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dribbling dengan kaki bagian luar pada permainan sepak bola melalui metode bermain kelompok pada siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 14 Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas ( PTK ) dengan populasi penelitian ini adalah Siswa kelas XI IPS 2 dengan jumlah siswa 35 orang siswa. Instrument yang digunakan untuk tes hasil belajar peningkatan dribbling pada permainan sepak bola adalah silabus dan RPP. Data-data yang di peroleh pada penelitian ini melalui observasi pengolahan melalui metode bermain kelompok, aktivitas siswa, angket motivasi siswa dan tes praktek. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar dribling melalui metode bermain kelompok terhadap siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 14 Gowa pada cabang olahraga sepak bola dengan nila rata-rata siklus I berjumlah 79 dan nilai rata-rata siklus II berjumlah 84.]]>

<![CDATA[The objective was to determine the influence of English movie to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. This used a quantitative research with experimental method. This study used two classes, namely experimental class with English movie and control class without English movie. The samples were grade X IPA 2 with 30 students for the experiment class and grade X IPA 3 with 30 students for the control class.Data collection techniques were pre-test and post-test. The results indicated the pre-test result mean value in the experimental class was 38.50 and the pre-test in the control class was 34.17 indicating that the students ability in the pre-test was still very low while the experimental class mean value in post-test was.83.17 and the post test results in the control class were 63.17 showing that the students’ vocabulary mastery was in a good category and began to increase. The data were analyzed by using and independent sample of normality that 0.053 >0.05 so that normality is distributed, homogeneity values are met,t-test,indicating that Sig.( 2-tailed) is 0.000 lower than 0.05 so that the influence is found. The research proves there is an increase in the students’ vocabulary mastery trough English movie.It can be concluded that English movie can improve the vocabulary mastery of grade X IPA 2 students at SMAN 10 GOWA.]]>

<![CDATA[The complexities of language, society, and artistic expressions make literary works like novels difficult to translate. Translators encounter several problems such as cultural subtleties, colloquial idioms, distinctive writing styles, and other poetic aspects. Literary translation is a challenging process that necessitates a profound comprehension of the cultural and contextual nuances of the source material in addition to language proficiency. The Arabic novel Cities of Salt was written by Abdelrahman Munif, and was successfully translated into several languages, including English. Peter Theroux completed the English translation that was initially released in 1987, and he is the one who paved the way for opening up Munif's writing to a wider English-speaking community. The translated version preserves the novel's exploration of the impact of the oil industry on an unnamed Arab Gulf state and its reflection on the profound social, economic, and cultural changes brought about by rapid industrialization. Cities of Salt by Abdul Rahman Munif is a rich exploration of environmental exploitation and gender dynamics in the context of the Arab Gulf region's transformation due to the oil industry. The novel offers a nuanced portrayal of the interconnected challenges faced by communities grappling with rapid industrialization and its far-reaching consequences on both the environment and societal structures, including gender roles. Moreover, this research paper reveals how the exploitation of land mirrors the exploitation of women. The destruction of the environment echoes the silencing and erasure of women's voices and agency. Through an eco-feminist lens, the paper exposes the interconnectedness between the oppression of nature and the oppression of women, both subjected to exploitation, commodification, and dispossession. Because this novel is a quintet, this paper examines excerpts from the first volume, Al-Teeh, which better fit the study’s argument.]]>
