Learning motivation and learning outcomes of Civic Education (PKn) in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) class V still show less than optimal levels, especially due to the limited learning media that are less interesting and interactive. This study aims to analyze the effect of using audio-visual media on the motivation and learning outcomes of Civic Education students in class V MI. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design involving two groups of students, namely the experimental group using audio-visual media and the control group using conventional methods. Data were collected through learning motivation instruments and learning outcome tests, then analyzed using statistical tests to test the significance of differences between groups. The results showed that the use of audio-visual media significantly increased students' learning motivation and Civic Education learning outcomes compared to conventional learning methods. These findings strengthen the theory of multimedia learning and the ARCS motivation model, while providing practical implications for the development of more effective and interesting Civic Education learning in MI. The recommendation of this study is the systematic integration of audio-visual media in Civic Education learning to improve the quality of civic education at the elementary level.

This study addresses the issue of inadequate internalization of civic values in Civic Education (Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan or PPKn) at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) level, which remains dominated by conventional and less contextual teaching methods. The research aims to examine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in fostering students’ civic attitudes through PPKn instruction. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this study was conducted at an MI in Kendari City. The informants consisted of PPKn teachers and upper-grade students. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through source and technique triangulation.The results reveal that the implementation of PjBL significantly enhances students’ sense of responsibility, cooperation, tolerance, and social awareness. These findings contribute to the theory of experiential civic education and offer practical implications for developing more transformative, contextual, and student-centered PPKn learning in primary Islamic schools.

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of value-based learning in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Value-based learning is expected to strengthen students' understanding of citizenship values including rights and obligations, democracy, and national and state life. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews with teachers and students, as well as observations of the learning process in the classroom. Data analysis was carried out using thematic analysis techniques to identify key themes related to the implementation and impact of value-based learning. The results of the study indicate that value-based learning has a positive impact on students' understanding of basic citizenship concepts, but its effectiveness is limited by factors such as uneven educational infrastructure, teacher skills in using learning technology, and students' difficulties in understanding abstract concepts. The implications of this study are the importance of improving the quality of teaching and educational infrastructure to support the optimal implementation of this method. This study recommends the need for teacher training and improving educational facilities to strengthen value-based learning in MI.

This study examines the role of civic education in shaping environmentally conscious character in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah through a classroom action research approach. The problem raised is the lack of integration of civic values with environmental issues in learning, which can impact the low ecological awareness of students. The purpose of this study is to explore how civic education that incorporates environmental concepts can enhance students' character in caring for environmental sustainability. This study uses a qualitative method with a classroom action research approach, involving teachers and students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kendari City. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and teacher reflection, then analyzed descriptively. The results show that the integration of civic education and the environment in learning can increase students' ecological awareness and encourage them to engage in real actions, such as greening activities and waste management at school. As a result, the curriculum that incorporates environmental issues enriches students' understanding of citizenship and contributes to the formation of a more environmentally conscious student character. This study recommends further development of a curriculum based on the integration of civic education and environmental sustainability.

The history of the nation's struggle plays a significant role in enhancing the civic attitudes of students in Islamic elementary schools. The central issue addressed in this study is how history education can instill nationalism values in students at the primary level and how the classroom action research (CAR) method can be applied to support this process. This study employed a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design, involving sixth-grade students at an Islamic elementary school (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) in Kendari as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed inductively by categorizing findings into relevant themes. The results indicate that a history-based learning model focused on the national struggle is effective in improving students’ understanding and nationalist attitudes. Students demonstrated increased active participation, a sense of pride in their country, and greater awareness of the importance of maintaining national unity. Consequently, history learning not only enhanced cognitive knowledge but also contributed to the development of students’ national character. This research provides meaningful implications for curriculum development and instructional practices in madrasah settings and offers recommendations for future studies.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penguatan karakter demokratis siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah melalui penerapan butir-butir pengamalan sila keempat Pancasila dalam pembelajaran. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah bagaimana penerapan nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam konteks pendidikan dasar dapat mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku siswa dalam proses pengambilan keputusan kolektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kota Kendari. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan butir-butir pengamalan sila keempat Pancasila secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berdiskusi, menghargai pendapat orang lain, dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam musyawarah. Dampak dari temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis Pancasila efektif dalam memperkuat nilai-nilai demokrasi di tingkat dasar, serta memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan keterampilan sosial siswa yang relevan dengan kehidupan bermasyarakat. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kurikulum pendidikan di madrasah, yang dapat mengarah pada pembentukan karakter siswa yang lebih bertanggung jawab dan toleran.

Artikel ini menganalisis transformasi konseptual dan implementasi prinsip kedaulatan rakyat dalam konteks ketatanegaraan Indonesia pasca amandemen UUD 1945 (1999-2002). Melalui pendekatan yuridis-normatif dan historis-komparatif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi pergeseran paradigma kedaulatan rakyat dari model perwakilan tidak langsung menuju model demokrasi partisipatif yang lebih substantif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa amandemen konstitusi telah secara fundamental memperkuat manifestasi kedaulatan rakyat melalui: (1) restrukturisasi kelembagaan negara dengan prinsip checks and balances, (2) pemilihan langsung presiden dan kepala daerah, (3) penguatan jaminan hak konstitusional warga negara, dan (4) pembentukan Mahkamah Konstitusi sebagai pengawal konstitusi. Meskipun terjadi penguatan signifikan, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan implementatif yang perlu diatasi untuk mengoptimalkan perwujudan kedaulatan rakyat dalam praktik bernegara di Indonesia.

Penanaman nilai Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa di madrasah ibtidaiyyah masih menghadapi tantangan metodologis dalam menjembatani antara pengajaran nilai religius dan pembentukan literasi kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas strategi pembelajaran inkuiri, yang dikombinasikan dengan media cerdas berbasis kecerdasan buatan, dalam menanamkan nilai Ketuhanan serta dampaknya terhadap literasi kewarganegaraan siswa. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di madrasah ibtidaiyyah Kota Kendari. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi inkuiri secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai Ketuhanan dalam konteks sosial dan kebangsaan. Integrasi media cerdas memperkuat refleksi personal dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan integratif berbasis nilai dan teknologi dapat memperkuat pendidikan karakter dan membentuk warga negara yang religius, toleran, dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan reorientasi kurikulum dan pelatihan guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan inkuiri berbasis nilai yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan tantangan multikulturalisme.

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi kebijakan pendidikan inklusif di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (MI) di Kota Kendari, dengan fokus pada aspek keadilan sosial dalam ruang kelas. Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi adalah ketimpangan antara kebijakan inklusif yang ada dan praktik di lapangan, serta kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif untuk siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana kebijakan inklusif diimplementasikan di MI dan dampaknya terhadap pengajaran serta keberagaman siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di beberapa MI di Kendari, melibatkan wawancara dengan guru, kepala madrasah, serta observasi ruang kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun nilai-nilai inklusif telah diterima secara normatif, penerapannya masih terbatas oleh faktor seperti kurangnya pelatihan, ketidaksesuaian kebijakan internal, dan kepemimpinan yang tidak konsisten. Dampaknya adalah keberhasilan inklusi yang sporadis dan tidak merata di seluruh madrasah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru dan kepala madrasah, serta penguatan kebijakan internal yang lebih sistematis dan berbasis data untuk mendukung pendidikan inklusif yang lebih efektif dan adil.

Keterbatasan efektivitas metode pembelajaran konvensional dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan pada siswa sekolah dasar menjadi tantangan signifikan, khususnya di lembaga berbasis keagamaan seperti Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas media pembelajaran digital dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai dasar ideologi bangsa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol non-ekivalen dan desain posttest-only. Lokasi penelitian berada di salah satu Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kota Kendari. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan ANCOVA untuk menguji signifikansi pengaruh perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada skor posttest siswa kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol, dengan kontribusi varians sebesar 42,6% yang dijelaskan oleh intervensi media digital. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa media digital berkontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila. Integrasi media digital dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan belajar, pemahaman nilai, dan pembentukan karakter siswa secara lebih efektif, khususnya di lingkungan pendidikan dasar Islam.
