Abstract

This study explores the links between job satisfaction, turnover intention, and employee performance. In particular, we investigate the mediating effect of turnover intention on the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance in KSU Sinar Dana Mandiri. The research was based on primary data, and this research was conducted on the employee’s working in cooperative institution. The sample consisted employee of 32 respondents on KSU Sinar Dana Mandiri. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis techniques to answer the problem formulation with the help of SmartPLS 3 program. Research finding are job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, turnover intention has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, and turnover intention variable is able to be a mediating variable between job satisfaction and employee performance.

Abstract

Models are frameworks or possible explanations why do people behave as they do at work.1 There are so many models in an organization. Different results across the organizations are caused by different in the models of organizational behaviour. The basic model of this paper is to know more about how organizational behaviour influences the Intel (M) Corporation based on the organizational behaviour model. Furthermore, this paper aims to have insights about the employees in Intel (M) Corporation which will be influenced by surroundings no matter from physically or psychologically including how company facilities and services influences the organizational behaviour in Intel (M) Corporation or the influence of motivation among employee and company performances. This paper contains a phone interview with one of the managers in Intel (M) Corporation, an American multinational technology company with its Malaysia main headquarter located in Penang to get more about the internal issues regarding organizational behaviour in the company such as overcoming of stress, design of a decision and also company culture and structure. Intel (M) Corporation has turned to be a splendid company in its working environment with both internal and external supports received from employees and the community. We will learn about the influences of Organizational Behaviours towards a company community based on Organizational Behaviour models.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of green product and social media marketing on purchasing decisions. Environmental problems become one of the considerations for consumers to start using a green product. While social media marketing is a means for companies to who participate in social media so that later it will produce purchasing decisions. This is a study on Sensatia Botanical products. In this study using a nonprobability sampling method with a number of 100 respondents. This study found that green products have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with the regression value of the green product variable is 0.614. Whereas social media marketing does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of work engagement and self-efficacy on credit analyst’s job burnout. Job burnout is one aspect that influence negligence in analyze a credit application. Job burnout is a condition with emotional fatigue, physical fatigue, and lack of energy which can cause a person's low performance. BRI is the largest profit bank in Indonesian banking industry and always grows up to 2017. High number of debtors and credit applications can also increase the workload and job burnout for the analyst. Job burnout can be minimized by a high work engagement between workers and their job. Work engagement is a condition when worker easier to manage work relationship and manage stress on work pressure. Selfefficacy also will prevent job burnout. Person with high self-efficacy has a good competence to face challenges in their workplace. This study used primary data source collected by questionnaire technique. Respondents in this study were credit analysts at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Renon Branch Office. Hypothesis was tested by using multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that work engagement and self-efficacy had a negative and significant effect on job burnout of credit analyst.

Abstract

The present study attempts to determine the role of organizational commitment mediating organizational climate with turnover intention in Pizza Hut Denpasar, Bali. A company has to concern about turnover intention because it can create instability and uncertainty about employee conditions, as well as increased recruitment cost. Therefore a company is required to be able to retain employees by understanding things that are able to make employees loyal to the company. This study was conducted with a sample of 55 employees in Pizza Hut Denpasar Bali using the questionnaires with Likert Scale to conclude result that found. This study found that organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational climate has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, and organizational commitment partially mediating organizational climate on turnover intention. Employees will have a high commitment to the company if a good organizational climate is created. A high commitment can reduce intention to leave. Future studies might be more do research about turnover intention from different antecedents. Managers need to develop strategic human resources practice to recruit some potential employees and keep spirit for decresing turnover rate.

Abstract

Customers in choosing products will choose based on what is most needed and what is most suitable for them. Purchasing decisions can be influenced by various factors including green marketing, brand awareness and price perception. The purposes of this study are analyzing the effect green marketing, brand awareness, price perceptions on purchase decisions. The sample used in this study as many as 90 respondents were determined by purposive sampling. Abstract

Performance is an important aspect of the organization. Performance can be influenced by various factors, including discipline and work motivation. Therefore the purposes of this study are 1) to find out to what extent the influence of Discipline on Employee Performance; 2) to know to what extent the influence of the Work Motivation on Employee Performance; 3) to figure out to what extent the influence of simultaneous discipline and work motivation on Employee Performance. This quantitative method employed multistage sampling that was done in stages. It was based on the scope of employees in BTPN Gorontalo. The analysis tool used was a mathematical model of Multiple Linear Regression with SPSS 16.0. Moreover, all BTPN Gorontalo employees were taken as the population in this study. The results of the t-test of variable of discipline significantly influence employee performance seen from tcount (4,388) ¬>ttable(1,729); while the variable of work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance behavior seen from tcount (2,379) > ttable (1,729). Based on the calculated value of 13,532 with a p-value (sig. Value) of 0,000. This value is much lower than 0.05, which means it has simultaneous effect. According to the calculation of the determination coefficients, it is obtained R Square value of 0.501. This value means 50.1% of the variability regarding Employee Performance can be explained by the independent variables in the model (Discipline and Work Motivation), while the remaining 49.9% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of Reward, and Punishment against the performance of Employees on the Royal Tunjung Bali Spa Kuta Legian & Hotel. This research method using the census to determine the number of sampelnya, with all employees so that the number of samples of research is as much as 35 employees. The data collection method using observation, interview and questionnaire presented to employees Royal Tunjung Bali Spa Kuta Legian & Hotel. Data analysis technique used is a Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 17.0. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Analytical techniques used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that test results obtained F, with F count of 73.737 with significant value 0.000 < 0.05 then Ho is rejected, this means a variable Reward and Punishment effect simultan against variable Employee Performance. and also Reward positive and significant influence on performance of employees can be seen from the results of the test T retrieved the value T calculate the significance value 2.229 of 0.033. While the value T calculate the Punishment of 2.196 means having a significant and positive influence on performance of employees. Reward is the dominant or most variables in influencing the performance of employees. The results of this research show that the better the Reward for employees, which is supported by the existence of Punishment in the form of awarding penalties to employees who make mistakes it is able to improve the performance of employees become better again, so need to do a repair and improvement by Splurge management Tunjung Bali Hotel & Spa.

Abstract

Purpose: The relationship between customer satisfaction and behavioral intentions in tourism has drawn significant attention for both practitioners and academicians as it is the key factor in winning market share in the tourism industry. The aim of this paper is to present a systematic research of the literature on the topic of customer satisfaction and behavioral intentions in tourism, highlighting the role of both the antecedents and the consequences of satisfaction that have been included in previous research. Methodology: The systematic literature review (SLR) of articles that have been published related to customer satisfaction and behavioral intention in tourism from various journals from 1990 up to 2018. Findings: The result of this study revealed that service quality is the most important antecedents of satisfaction in tourism. Meanwhile, the consequences are mainly characterized by loyalty. Nevertheless, the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty does not seem always so linear, as there are customers who revisit to the tourist destination, while others prefer to visit to new destinations despite, they were satisfied Practical implications: It is expected that this study will provide a better understanding of satisfaction towards a tourist destination, so marketing strategy can be composed and implemented in order to increase tourist satisfaction. This article can be as reference for future studies on satisfaction and customer behavioral intentions in tourism.

Abstract

In Malaysia, automotive trade is rapid growing industry. It is considered as the one of most important manufacturing industry sectors. Automotive industry is considered as the one of the crucial industries by the Malaysia government. According to the government representor, the rapid growth in the manufacturing of the automotive leads the country to be developed nation by the end of 2020 (Arshad, 2001). According to Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) Chief Datuk Madani Sahari automotive sector is going to contribute in the GDP of Malaysia about 10% of the total by the end of 2020. In Malaysia economy the automotive Perodua Company is also contributing a lot in the automotive sector. The Perodua is playing an important role in the manufacturing, assembling, and service sectors. As the Perodua director was crowned with the title of automotive man of the 2017 year, because of his visionary action and leadership in making the national automaker. Therefore, companies like Perodua are the proud for the Malaysia like developing country which are independent in their automotive manufacturing, engineering and designs. In the presence of the given challenges the automotive industry is facing the issues of increased competition, on the global and national level. Therefore, Perodua has to make the strategic direction and also gave the basic framework by reviewing the current status of automotive sector. Therefore, Perodua will have the battle on national and national level. The new designs of Perodua are having new technology and quality. The quality and productivity of Perodua is the mission of the company which enhance the sustainability of the active vendors of Perodua services. Perodua is also known as the world’s best automobile company because of its professionalism, efficiency, quality and reliability of the automobiles. The strategies of the company include the optimizing benefits for the stakeholder and for the customer services, have the social responsibility for the community and environment. This company is unique in its products which attract the customs (Zahari, Halim, Baniamin&Salleh, 2016).
