Abstract

The purpose The purpose of this study is to provide information available in SMEs UnikSinom the process of processing the materials still using the traditional way. Method The method used is to utilize Technology Termocoolersonifikasi as beverage processing. This technology is equipped with Microcontroller which is also integrated with Ohmic Heating, Spiral Pipe Fast Fluid Cooling System, UV lamp generator, and Multivalve Filler System that is able to assist the beverage processing. In addition, this machine is also equipped with ETC (Electric Temperature Control) which serves as a beverage temperature controller to stay awake at the safe limit (70˚C). Results The expected result is the increased production of herbal medicine due to the better processing process so as to increase the productivity as much as 300% which originally about 90 liters / day can increase up to 270 liters / day. Findings The findings of this study are the use of Microcontroller based Termocoolersonification Technology as solution of processing of herbal medicine and the use of ETC (Electric Temperature Control) as a temperature controller on herbal medicine drinks. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compliance pressure, time budget pressure, and task complexity on audit judgment. The population in this study all auditors who work at the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in the Bali area contained in the 2022 Directory and the sample used is 74 respondents. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that: (1) Obedience pressure has no significant negative effect on audit judgment, where the regression coefficient is -0.006 and sig 0.962, (2) Time budget pressure has a significant negative effect on audit judgment where the regression coefficient is -0.180 and sig 0.023, and (3) task complexity has a significant positive effect on audit judgment where the regression coefficient is -0.108 and sig 0.047. Suggestions that can be given by researchers are further researchers, so that they can examine and examine more deeply other factors not examined in this study that can affect audit judgment. Keywords: Audit judgment, Compliance pressure, Task complexity, Time budget pressure.

Abstract

The study aimed to develop a participative and collaborative learning evaluation tool for academic writing to enhance students' social and emotional intelligence. The developmental research laid its emphasis on the importance of facilitating a valid and reliable learning evaluation tool to measure the extent of success of academic writing learning. The study integrated R2D2 and RDR models as the development model of the evaluation tool. The R2D2 model comprised three focuses: determination process, design and development, and dissemination. In the meantime, the RDR model also involved three focuses: initial observation, tool development, and implementation of effectiveness test activity. Therefore, the development process of the evaluation tool consisted of four steps (based on the integration of R2D2 and RDR models): 1) initial observation, 2) determination process, 3) tool design, and 4) tool development. Moreover, qualitative and quantitative data were employed in the study; all data were acquired from the learning process, as well as the students, lecturers, practitioners, and relevant experts. The data were further analyzed by employing domain analysis and paired sample t-test statistical analysis. The development process results in a product in the form of four learning evaluation tools to measure the learning outcomes of academic writing subject. The tools involved: assessment rubric, portfolio, observation sheet, and learning journal. According to the effectiveness test result, the evaluation tools are deemed as valid and reliable to be implemented in evaluating the learning process and learning outcomes of academic writing subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine differences in predictions of symptoms of corporate bankruptcy between the Altman Model and the Springate Model against the symptoms of bankruptcy in the Manufacturing Sector of the Pharmaceutical Sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2017 period. The research method used is descriptive method. The population in this study were all publicly listed companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 to 2017. Sampling techniques with use of purposive sampling. Based on the sampling criteria, obtained a research sample of 9 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2017 period. From the results of the study, the difference between the two is the ratio of the capital market value to the book value of the debt owned by the Altman equation, not owned by the Springate equation. This ratio has a very significant effect because stock prices contribute to the results of the Altman Z-Score model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to predict the role of employee organization relationships in mediating the effects of competence development, empowering leadership on career success and role of career shock in moderating these relationships. Based on the results of the literature review, it is indicated that employee organization relationships mediate the positive influence of competence development, empowering leadership on career success. This means that the employee organization relationship is an effective stimulus to improve employee career formation. This study also indicates that These relationships will be stronger with increasing levels of positive career shock and weaker with increasing levels of negative career shock. The implication of this study is that career shock encourages employees to reflect critically on future career opportunities. Employees who invest in competence development and receive organizational support tend to have better long-term career prospects but career shock can increase or decrease their role in career success. Eventually, future research should be able to explore the concept of career shock and test it empirically because this concept is relatively new in career research. Keywords: competence development, empowering leadership, EOR, career shock, and career success

Abstract

This study aims to determine the one-way causality relationship between foreign investment and economic growth, a one-way causality relationship between economic growth and foreign investment, and a two-way causality relationship between foreign investment and economic growth in Indonesia. This was conducted in Indonesia, the data are secondary data taken using the method time series from 1971 to 2018 from the official websites, the Investment Coordinating Board, and literature sources, Foreign Investment and Gross Domestic Product. (1) in the long run the Economic Growth variable has a significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment, and vice versa; and (2) the Foreign Direct Investment variable has a significant effect on Economic Growth; (3) in the short term, the Economic Growth variable has an influence on Foreign Direct Investment, and vice versa; and the Foreign Direct Investment variable has an influence on Economic Growth. It is possible to have a better long-term relationship, bringing positive impact on economic growth in Indonesia when investment in Indonesia increases. Conversely, when economic growth decreases, it means that foreign investment is also low. Granger Causality test, shows a two-way causality relationship between Economic Growth and Foreign Direct Investment and vice versa. It is necessary to maintain growth to attract foreign direct investment, as well as foreign investment. Investment climate needs to be improved enabling to invest in Indonesia.
