Abstract

This study aims to identify the dynamics of family communication patterns in providing sustenance during the implementation of khuruj by members of Jamaah Tabligh at the Al-Ittihad Labatu Mosque, Labukkang Village, Ujung District, Parepare City. This study also examines the impact of khuruj on the provision of sustenance, both physically and mentally, and how family communication patterns are maintained despite physical separation. A qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design was used in this study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations of Jamaah Tabligh family members involved in khuruj. The findings of the study indicate that family communication, which includes deliberation and communication based on religious values, plays a significant role in maintaining household harmony even though the husband leaves the family for a certain period of time. The provision of sustenance that is material and emotional shows that despite limited communication, religious values and understanding between family members can maintain relationship stability and reduce the potential for conflict. This study is expected to provide practical guidance for the Jamaah Tabligh community in managing family communication during khuruj.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic position of the Zakat Institution in Palopo City in response to internal and external dynamics using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis approach. A mixed-methods strategy—combining quantitative and qualitative techniques—was applied, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. The collected data were processed using a weighted score summation method to evaluate the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, thereby determining its strategic positioning within the SWOT matrix. The results indicate that the Zakat Institution of Palopo City occupies an aggressive strategy position, suggesting the organization holds strong internal capabilities and substantial external opportunities for growth. This strategic placement reflects the institution's potential to expand its reach and enhance the effectiveness of both zakat collection and distribution. The findings of this study provide a strategic direction for the institution to foster innovation, particularly through the adoption of digital technologies and the strengthening of zakat-based economic empowerment programs, in order to promote sustainable community welfare.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) or Village -Owned Enterprises have emerged as a strategic policy instrument for empowering rural communities through participatory economic management. This study examined collaborative arrangements between the village government and community members in managing traditional rice fields (sawah adat) under the BUMDes framework in Tubo Selatan Village, and explored how these arrangements fostered social solidarity. Historically, sawah adat functioned as a non-monetary compensation mechanism for village officials; however, it has evolved into a collective economic initiative that redistributes benefits and strengthens community welfare. By using a qualitative case study design , the research investigates interaction patterns, collaborat ive roles, and solidarity values embedded in the sawah adat –based BUMDes model. Twelve informants were selected purposively from government actors, BUMDes administrators, and farming communities. Data were gathered through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and were examined using a structured process of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing within the framework of collaborative governance theory. Findings indicate that collaboration is institutionalized through transparent registration mechanisms, shared decision -making, and a proportional distribution of harvest yields between farmers and the BUMDes. The governance model ensures fair benefit - sharing, reinforces mutual responsibility, and sustains the cultural value of gotong royong. Moreover, deliberative processes grounded in accountability enhance trust, reduce conflict, and facilitate sustained cooperation. The management of traditional rice fields therefore functions not only as an economic driver but also as a catalyst for strengthening collective identity and social cohesion within the rural community.

Abstract

The knowledge integration is an effort to dialogue science (secular) and religion (Islam). This effort also is the basis for the institutional change of Islamic higher education from the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) to the State Islamic University (UIN). This study specifically critically examines the implementation of integration of knowledge at UIN Alauddin in the time interval 2015-2023 - two periods of the Rector's leadership, namely 2015-2019 and 2019-2023. The aim is to see the development of the face of integration of knowledge on a campus that claims to be a campus of civilization. Because this is a compass that covers all production of science. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method. Data was collected using observation, in-depth interviews, and document searches, and then analyzed descriptively. This research is shown by the decreasing number of research allocations on this theme from year to year. In 2018 and 2019 the number of integration research was 40 titles, while in 2022 and 2023 there were only 19 titles. This reality in turn has implications for the passion for the transformation of knowledge integration in the field of education and teaching. In short, the implementation of knowledge integration at UIN Alauddin tends to be procedural-symbolic.

Abstract

This study analyzes the form of Ukhuwatul Islamiyah's mosque-based da'wah program in Panciro Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. The study focuses on four main dimensions of Islamic da'wah: tabligh (conveying religious messages), irsyad (guidance and counseling), tadbir (management of religious activities), and tatwir (development and innovation of da'wah). Using a quantitative descriptive approach, this study explores the implementation of da'wah functions by the Ukhuwatul Islamiyah Da'wah Institution (LDUI) in strengthening the role of mosques as centers for community development. The results show that LDUI implements integrated da'wah: regular recitations and sermons (tabligh), community assistance (irsyad), participatory management (tadbir), and digital and economic innovation for the community (tatwir). This study confirms a shift in da'wah from a verbalistic orientation towards a transformative mosque-based model that is adaptive to social challenges, making the mosque a center for the spiritual, social, and digital empowerment of the community.

Abstract

One of the negative impacts of the development of digital technology is the weakening of authoritative facts and the increasing dominance of opinion in the public sphere. This situation strengthens the spread of religious disinformation in digital media, which has the potential to shift the authenticity of Islamic thought. Departing from this fact, this study seeks to analyze how da'wah communication strategies can function as a mechanism to counter religious disinformation in the post-truth context. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to articles or books published between 2016 and 2024. The data was obtained through a systematic search process in the Google Scholar database, books, and various research results. The literature selection was based on the following criteria: relevance to the theme of digital da'wah communication, media literacy, and post-truth studies; and publications that provide empirical findings or theoretical frameworks related to countering disinformation. The analysis results show three main findings: first, implementing effective digital da'wah communication practices in the post-truth era consistently utilizes the principle of ttabayyun as an information verification mechanism; second, increasing digital literacy among da'i and audiences has been proven to be a factor that directly reduces vulnerability to misinformation and disinformation; Third, creative, data-driven da'wah content that adheres to digital communication ethics has a higher level of reach and public trust. This third finding demonstrates that digital da'wah communication plays a crucial role as a social instrument for maintaining the integrity of religious information amidst the dominance of opinion in the post-truth era.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover how organizational communication strategies, the modernization of the Integrated Dynamic Archiving Information System (SRIKANDI), and bureaucratic simplification efforts interact to accelerate the digital transformation of records management at the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Employing a qualitative approach, the research utilizes thematic analysis of secondary data processed through NVivo (mind maps, word clouds, and tree maps) and official documents, including the Secretary-General Circular Letter No. 31/2022 and SPBE implementation reports. The findings reveal that SRIKANDI successfully serves as a primary instrument for modernizing and simplifying archival bureaucracy by enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in records management. However, its success heavily depends on multi-channel internal communication strategies and intensive employee training as key drivers of technology adoption. The primary challenges remain low human resource competencies, limited digital infrastructure, and weak inter-unit coordination. This study extends the UTAUT-2 model by integrating coercive isomorphism, demonstrating that in mandatory-use contexts, regulatory compliance is merely the initial stage, while true technology internalization is achieved only through intensive human-centered approaches. The research offers policy recommendations for other ministries and institutions in optimizing mandatory information systems and provides replicable best-practice models to support the national Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE).
