Abstract

This study aims to know the role of the Manpower and Transmigration Office in improving the quality of workforce in Sumbawa District. The type of this study was descriptive study which aims to describe the role of the Manpower and Transmigration Office in improving the quality of workforce in Sumbawa District. The type of data used was qualitative data in the form of research informants' perceptions regarding research objects collected directly by researchers from the original source, namely research informants using interview techniques. The informants in this study consist of key informants and main informants. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of this study indicate that the Manpower and Transmigration Office had an important role in improving the quality of the workforce in Sumbawa District through various programs and activities. These programs and activities include competency-based education and training, internships, and coaching of Private Job Training Institutions. Through these programs and activities, it can provide adequate knowledge and competency for the workforce as provisions before entering the workforce, thereby increasing greater opportunities for the workforce to be able to participate in the workforce. Thus, the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Sumbawa District had played an important role in creating a skilled, productive and independent workforce that is in accordance with the needs and demands of the current and future workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to know the determinants of product purchase decisions at King Boba Cafe reviewed from the aspect of location selection and interior design. The type of this study was associative research which aims to examine the effect of location (X1) and interior design (X2) as independent variables, on product purchasing decisions at King Boba Café (Y) as dependent variables. The type of data used was quantitative data collected directly by researchers from research respondents using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The sample used in this study was 96 customers at King Boba Café. Respondent selection was carried out using probability sampling techniques with the accidental sampling method. Data analysis tools were performed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination (R2) test. The results of this study showed that location and interior design had a positive and significant effect on product purchasing decisions at King Boba Café, both partially and simultaneously. The contribution of location and interior design variables in influencing changes on product purchasing decision variables at King Boba Café was 57.4%, while the remaining of 42.6% was effected by other variables outside this research model, such as brand ambassadors, brand experience and brand image.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of communication, motivation, and work environment in improving the performance of employees at Community and Village Empowerment Office of Sumbawa District. This type of research is associative research which is used to determine the direction and extent of influence of communication factors (X1), motivation (X2), and work environment (X3) on the performance of employees at Community and Village Empowerment Office of Sumbawa District (Y). The type of data used was quantitative data collected directly by researchers from research respondents using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The population in this study were all employees at Community and Village Empowerment Office of Sumbawa District, totaling 33 people. All members of the population totaling 33 people will be used as research samples so that this study is categorized as population research. Data analysis tools were performed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination (R2) test. The results of this study showed that communication, motivation and work environment had a positive and significant effect on the employees’ performance at Community and Village Empowerment Office of Sumbawa District, both partially and simultaneously. The contribution of communication, motivation and work environment variables in influencing changes on employees’ performance at Community and Village Empowerment Office of Sumbawa District was 80.4%, while the remaining of 19.6% was effected by other variables outside this research model, such as wages, job security, working conditions, achievements, training and work experience.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the implementation of the prudential banking principle in minimizing the risk of non-performing loans at PD. BPR NTB Sumbawa. The type of this study was causal associative research. The type of data used was quantitative data obtained directly from research respondents. The population in this study was all employees at PD. BPR NTB Sumbawa, totaling 98 people. This study used a census sampling or saturated sampling technique, so that the respondents in this study numbered 98 people. The data used in this study were collected using a questionnaire to be analyzed using techniques including simple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of data analysis in this study, it is known that the t-value calculated of the hypothesis testing results was 8.151, which was greater than the t table value of 1.661 (8.151>1.661), while the significance value was 0.000, which was smaller than the real level value of 0.05 (0.000<0.05). Based on these results, it can be stated that the implementation of the prudential banking principle had a positive and significant effect on the risk of non-performing loans at PD. BPR NTB Sumbawa. The implementation of the prudential banking principle had a fairly large ability to minimize the risk of non-performing loans at PD. BPR NTB Sumbawa, which was 40.9%, while the remaining of 59.1% was effected by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of Semaras Sia selegram advertisements on consumer interest in purchasing online of MSME products. The type of this study was associative which aims to examine the effect of Semaras Sia selegram advertisements (X) on consumer interest in purchasing online of MSME products (Y). The type of data used was quantitative data collected directly by researchers from research respondents using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The sample used in this study were netizens who liked advertising posts from Semaras Sia selegram, totaling 95 people and selected using non-probability sampling techniques with convenience sampling or accidental sampling methods. The data analysis tools used simple linear regression analysis techniques, t test, and the coefficient of determination (R2) test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it showed that the calculated t value was 3.748, which was greater than the t table value of 1.986 (3.748?1.986) and the resulting probability value was 0.000, which was less than 0.05 (0.000?0.05), so it can be stated that Semaras Sia selegram advertisements had a positive and significant effect on consumer interest in purchasing online of MSME products. The ability of Semaras Sia selegram advertisements in explaining the variation of changes on consumer interest in purchasing online of MSME products was 13.1%, while the remaining of 86.9% was affected by other variables outside this research model, such as information quality, information value, media display, price, and trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze motivation and work period in improving work productivity of employees at UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa District. The type of this study was associative research which aims to examine the effect of work motivation (X1) and work period (X2) on work productivity of employees at UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa District (Y). The type of this study was associative research. The type of data used was quantitative data collected directly by researchers from research respondents using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 40 employees of UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa Regency, who were selected using saturated sampling techniques or census sampling. The data analysis tools using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of this study showed that work motivation (X1) and work period (X2) had a positive and significant effect on work productivity of employees at UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa District (Y), both partially and simultaneously. The percentage contribution of work motivation and work period in effecting work productivity of employees at UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa District was 88.5%, while the remaining of 11.5% was effected by other variables not examined in this study, such as education level, skills, discipline, attitude, work ethic, salary, health, technology, management, and opportunities for achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product innovation and price in increasing interest on purchasing Vivo cellphones at the Mycell Store. The type of this study was associative study which aims to examine the effect of product innovation (X1) and price (X2) on Vivo cellphones purchasing interest at the Mycell Store (Y). The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained directly from research respondents using a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were consumers who purchased Vivo brand mobile phones at the Mycell Store, totaling 71 people, who were determined using probability sampling techniques with the simple random sampling method. The data used in this study were processed with SPSS software for analysis using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), and determinant coefficient testing (R2). The results of this study showed that partially product innovation had a positive and significant effect on Vivo cellphones purchasing interest, while price had a negative and significant effect on Vivo cellphones purchasing interest at the Mycell Store. In simultaneously, product innovation and price had a significant effect on Vivo cellphones purchasing interest at the Mycell Store. The effect of product innovation and price on Vivo cellphones purchasing interest at the Mycell Store was 72.1%, while the remaining of 27.9% was effected by other factors not included in this study, such as store location, service quality, and product completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to compare income levels between thrifting business actors at Utan Market who use offline and online marketing strategies. The type of this study was comparative study, and the type of data used was quantitative obtained directly from informants using interview guidelines. The informants in this study were 30 thrifting business actors at Utan Market, consisting of 15 thrifting business actors who used offline marketing strategies and 15 thrifting business actors who used online marketing strategies. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test technique, paired samples statistics test, paired samples correlations test, and paired samples t-test. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference in income levels between thrifting business actors at Utan Market who use offline and online marketing strategies. The income level of thrifting business actors at Utan Market who used online marketing strategies was higher than the income level of thrifting business actors who used offline marketing strategies. Thus, it can be stated that the implementation of online marketing strategies was a very important aspect in increasing the income of thrifting business actors at Utan Market. Through the implementation of online marketing strategies, it can make it easier for thrifting business actors to reach a wider market share. Thrifting business actors can offer their products to consumers more widely without being limited by place and time, thereby increasing sales activity which has an impact on increasing the income of thrifting business actors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer perceptions in influencing the interest in using e-wallets as a transaction tool for students of Samawa University, Sumbawa Besar, which in this study consists of perceptions of convenience and perceptions of risk. The type of this study was associative study. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained directly from research respondents using a questionnaire. The respondents in this study numbered 85 students, who were determined using non-probability sampling techniques with the accidental sampling method. The data used in this study were processed with SPSS software for analysis using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), and determinant coefficient testing (R2). The results of this study showed that in partially the perception of convenience had a positive and significant effect on the interest in using e-wallets, while the perception of risk had a negative and significant effect on the interest in using e-wallets as a transaction tool for students of Samawa University. In simultaneously, the perception of convenience and the perception of risk had a significant effect on the interest in using e-wallets as a transaction tool for students of Samawa University. The effect of perception of convenience and perception of risk on the interest in using e-wallets as a transaction tool for students at Samawa University was 58.4%, while the remaining of 41.6% was effected by other variables outside this research model, such as perceived usefulness, trust and user attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to know the relationship between endorsers and brand awareness with the purchasing decision of Purbasari cosmetics among students of Samawa University, Sumbawa Besar. The type of this study was causal associative study which aims to examine the effect of endorsers (X1) and brand awareness (X2) on purchasing decisions of Purbasari cosmetics on students of Samawa University, Sumbawa Besar (Y). The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained directly from respondents using a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were students of Samawa University, Sumbawa Besar who had purchased Purbasari cosmetics, totaling 85 people who were selected using non-probability sampling techniques with the accidental sampling method (convenience sampling). The data analysis techniques used in this study include multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of this study showed that endorsers and brand awareness had a positive and significant effect on the purchasing decision of Purbasari cosmetics among students of Samawa University, Sumbawa Besar, both partially and simultaneously. The ability of endorsers and brand awareness to explain the variation in changes in purchasing decisions of Purbasari cosmetics among students of Samawa University, Sumbawa Besar was 41.6%, while the remaining of 58.4% was effected by other factors outside this research model, such as personal factors, social class factors, and reference group factors.
