Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in performance between male and female employees at the National Unity and Politics Agency of Sumbawa District. The type of this study was comparative study conducted to compare the performance of male employees (X1) with the performance of female employees (X2) at the National Unity and Politics Agency of Sumbawa District. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained from official documents of the National Unity and Politics Agency of Sumbawa District, both published and unpublished. The data analysis technique used was comparative analysis using the average difference test, including the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the average difference test using the paired samples statistics test, paired samples correlations test, and paired samples t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, the calculated t-value of 1.180 was smaller than the t-table value of 2.571 (1.180<2.571), while the significance value of the calculation results of 0.283 was greater than the real level value of 0.05 (0.283>0.05). Thus, it can be stated that there was not significant difference between the performance of male and female employees at the National Unity and Politics Agency of Sumbawa District. These results indicate that there is equality in terms of quantity and quality of performance produced by male and female employees in carrying out and completing work responsibilities. Male and female employees have the same contribution in achieving the goals and objectives set by the organization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of apparatus service on communities’ satisfaction at the Kerato Village Office, Unter Iwes Sub district, Sumbawa District. The type of this study was associative study which aims to know the effect or the relationship between two or more variables. The data used in this study was quantitative data. The type of data used was primary data. The method used to collect data was through questionnaire. The technique of determining sample was used Slovin formula. The numbers of samples in this study were 98 people and were selected randomly. Data analysis was performed using Smart PLS 3.0 M3 Software, including testing the measurement model (outer model) and testing the structural model (inner model). The results of study showed that partially tangible had effect on community satisfaction in Kerato village office, it was based on the value of t-value was higher than t-table (2.288 > 1.290), then reliability had effect on community satisfaction at the Kerato Village Office, it was based on t-value was higher than t-table (1.720 > 1.290), then Responsiveness did not have effect on community satisfaction at the Kerato Village Office, it was based on t-value was lower than t-table (1,197 < 1.290). Furthermore, the value of r square was 0.445 it means that the percentage effect of tangible, realibility and responsiveness on community satisfaction in Kerato village office was 44.5% while the remaining of 54.5% was affected by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

The function and efforts of hospitals in providing healthcare services are supported by auxiliary facilities, one of which is the Pharmacy Installation, which is related to the management of medicines. Hospitals are also responsible for ensuring the safety of medication use for patients. Drug damage not only has negative effects on patients but also harms healthcare facilities as it can hinder optimal medication turnover. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of drug and medical consumable management and to examine its relationship with the increase in the number of patients at H.L. Manambai Abdul Kadir Hospital in 2025. The research method uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type, and data processing was conducted using the Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21. The results of the study indicate that the use of medicines and medical consumables simultaneously has an effect on the increase in the number of patients. However, medical consumables alone do not have a significant impact on the increase in patient numbers. The R-square value is 33.4%, which means that 33.4% of the variation in the increase in patient numbers can be explained by the use of medicines and medical consumables. Efficiency, availability, and quality of medicines must be top priorities in healthcare services.

Abstract

This study aims to know the Human Resource Management Adaptation Strategy in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era at PT Astra Motor Sumbawa and the effectiveness of the strategy. The type of this study was qualitative descriptive study. The types of data used were qualitative and quantitative data, then source of data in this study were primary and secondary data. The numbers of informants in this study were 4 informants consisted of 1 key informant and 3 main informants. The tools used to collect data were interviews and documentation. The technique of analysis data were qualitative analysis and effectiveness analysis. The results of this study showed that the management of PT. Astra Motor Sumbawa Besar has implemented several adaptive strategies to maintain the company's existence and increase its sales volume in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. However, the implementation of this strategy has not shown effective results as measured by sales volume. The sales ratio at PT. Astra Motor Sumbawa Besar in 2020-2024 was in the fairly effective category, indicating that the company's management has not been able to implement an adaptive marketing strategy in accordance with changing market conditions and consumer behavior. Therefore, optimal efforts are needed from company management to explore all the potential that is owned so that it is hoped that it can provide a positive and significant contribution to increasing the company's sales volume.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training and trainer competence on the quality of the workforce in Sumbawa District. The type of this study used was associative study to examine the effect of training (X1) and trainer competence (X2) on the quality of the workforce (Y), both partially and simultaneously. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained directly from primary sources using questionnaires. The data source in this study was all job training participants at Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi of Sumbawa District, totaling 52 people, who were determined using probability sampling techniques with the simple random sampling method. The data analysis techniques used include multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of this study showed that training (X1) and trainer competence (X2) had a positive and significant effect on the quality of the workforce in Sumbawa District (Y), both partially and simultaneously. The degree of effect of training (X1) and trainer competence (X2) on the quality of the workforce in Sumbawa District (Y) was 37.4%, while the remaining 62.6% is effected by other variables not examined in this study, such as work motivation, work facilities, compensation and work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of visionary leadership patterns, compensation and job placement on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Sumbawa District. The type of this study used was associative study with a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained directly from research respondents using a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 53 employees of the Regional Secretariat of Sumbawa District. The number of respondents was determined using the Slovin formula and selected using probability sampling techniques with a simple random sampling method. The data analysis techniques used include multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of this study showed that visionary leadership patterns, compensation, and job placement had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Sumbawa District, both partially and simultaneously. The effect of visionary leadership patterns, compensation, and job placement on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Sumbawa District was 92%, while the remaining of 8% was effected by other variables outside this research model, such as work motivation, job satisfaction, and work discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of business work practices and self-efficacy on students' work readiness. The type this study was associative study with a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this study was quantitative obtained directly from primary sources using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 61 active students at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Samawa University. The selection of respondents was determined using probability sampling techniques with a simple random sampling method. The data analysis tool used was multiple linear regression, partial hypothesis test (t test), simultaneous hypothesis test (F test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of this study showed that business work practices and self-efficacy had positive and significant effect on the work readiness of students at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Samawa University, either partially or simultaneously. The effect of business work practices and self-efficacy on the work readiness of students at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Samawa University was 74.3%, while the remaining of 25.7% was effected by other variables not examined in this study, such as career planning, adversity quotient, psychological capital, soft skills, motivation to enter the world of work, managerial skills, and social support.

Abstract

This study aims to examine efforts to increase customer loyalty of skintific skincare in Sumbawa District through customer experience strategies. The type of this study was associative study which aims to determine the effect of customer experience strategy (X) on the loyalty of Skintific skincare customers in Sumbawa District (Y). The type of data used in this study was quantitative obtained directly from primary sources using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were 50 Skintific skincare customers in Sumbawa District, totalling 50 people. The selection of respondents was determined using non probability sampling techniques with a accidental sampling (convenience sampling) method. The data analysis techniques used was simple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of the study showed that customer experience strategy had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty of Skintific skincare in Sumbawa District. These results suggest that the better of customer experience strategy implemented, the more loyalty of Skintific skincare customers in Sumbawa District will increase. Conversely, the worse of customer experience strategy implemented, the more the loyalty of Skintific skincare customers in Sumbawa District will decrease. The customer experience strategy contributes to effected the loyalty of Skintific skincare customers in Sumbawa District was 46.5%, while the remaining of 53.5% was effected by other factors not examined in this study, such as product quality, service quality, and promotions.

The type of this study was associative that aims to examine the effect of self-efficacy (X1) and locus of control (X2) on employee performance at PT. Mandala Multi Finance, Tbk. Sumbawa Besar (Y). The type of data used was quantitative data obtained directly from primary sources using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 53 employees of PT. Mandala Multi Finance, Tbk. Sumbawa Besar. The data analysis tool used was multiple linear regression, partial hypothesis test (t test), simultaneous hypothesis test (F test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of the study showed that self-efficacy (X1) and locus of control (X2) had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mandala Multi Finance, Tbk. Sumbawa Besar (Y), either partially or simultaneously. The percentage contribution of self-efficacy (X1) and locus of control (X2) in effecting employee performance at PT. Mandala Multi Finance, Tbk. Sumbawa Besar (Y) was 94.7%, while the remaining of 5.3% was effected by other variables not examined in this study, such as leadership style, work motivation and compensation.

Abstract

This study aims to know the role of information communication and technology (ICT) based marketing strategy on increasing sales of SME products in Sumbawa District. The type of this study was associative study aimed to examine the effect of information communication and technology (ICT) based marketing strategy on increasing SME product sales in Sumbawa District. The type of data used in this study was quantitative obtained directly from primary sources using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were 85 MSME actors in Sumbawa District. Determination of respondents in this study using probability sampling techniques with the simple random sampling method. The data processing tool used the SPSS version 16.0 for Windows application to be analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of this study showed that ICT-based marketing strategies had a positive and significant effect on sales of SME products in Sumbawa District. The ability of the ICT-based marketing strategies to effect on sales of SME products in Sumbawa District was 73.6%, while the remaining of 26.4% was effected by other factors not examined in this study, such as price, promotion, product and service.
