Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is an important aspect of culinary business sustainability because it is influenced by service quality and the perceived appropriateness of prices. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and price on consumer satisfaction at Warung Sasak Ayu Lestari in Mataram City. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire and then analyzed using validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that, partially, service quality had a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, with a calculated t value of 4.861 > t table of 1.9847. The price variable also had a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, with a calculated t value of 6.571 > t table of 1.9847, and was the most dominant variable. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that service quality and price play an important role in increasing consumer satisfaction, with price as the most dominant factor. These findings imply the need for better management of service quality and more appropriate pricing strategies to strengthen consumer satisfaction at Warung Sasak Ayu Lestari in Mataram City.

Abstract

The development of social media has accelerated the flow of information, including the dissemination of news whose truth has not been verified. This condition requires journalism students to have adequate media literacy and accuracy in assessing the truth of news. This study aims to analyze the influence of media literacy on the accuracy of Journalism students at Bengkulu University in assessing the truth of news on social media. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. The research respondents consisted of 30 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results showed that media literacy had a significant influence on students’ accuracy in assessing the truth of news, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), a regression coefficient of 1.064, and an R Square value of 0.719. These findings indicate that media literacy was able to explain 71.9% of the variation in students’ accuracy in assessing the truth of news on social media. The conclusion of this study affirms the importance of strengthening media literacy, information verification skills, and critical attitudes among journalism students in responding to the flow of news on social media. The implications of this study include theoretical contributions to the development of media literacy studies in journalism education and practical implications for universities in strengthening students’ competence in evaluating the truth of digital information.

Abstract

The development of Instagram as a medium for disseminating local information encourages the public to obtain news quickly, including through the Bengkulu Info account. However, the speed of news publication is not always accompanied by an equally strong public perception of information accuracy. This study aims to analyze the influence of news publication speed on the perceived accuracy of information consumed by the general public on the Bengkulu Info Instagram account. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. The research sample consisted of 15 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on the criterion of having followed or consumed information from the Bengkulu Info Instagram account. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and were then analyzed through descriptive statistics, reliability testing, normality testing, correlation, simple linear regression, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that news publication speed had a positive relationship with perceived information accuracy, with a correlation value of 0.496 and an R Square value of 0.246. However, the significance value of 0.060 indicates that this influence was not yet significant at the 0.05 level. These findings affirm that news publication speed plays a role in shaping audience perceptions, but information accuracy remains influenced by source credibility, clarity of information, and audience experience. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of balancing publication speed and information accuracy in the management of local news-based social media. The implications of this study provide a contribution to digital communication studies and practical input for managers of local information accounts in improving the quality, clarity, and credibility of published information.

Abstract

Students’ low ability to solve fraction problems and the limited availability of learning resources that are attractive and easy to understand in mathematics learning constitute an important basis for developing creative and dynamic learning media. This study aims to develop and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital educational comic media in improving Grade IV students’ ability to solve mathematical fraction problems. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects consisted of 25 Grade IV students at MIN 12 Kota Medan. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, expert validation, and tests in the form of pretests and posttests, and were then analyzed using percentages and N-Gain. The validation results showed that the digital educational comic media obtained an average score of 88.6%, categorized as highly valid. The practicality test results obtained an average score of 87.43%, categorized as highly practical. Furthermore, the effectiveness test results showed an N-Gain value of 79%, which falls into the high category, indicating that digital comic-based learning media are effective in improving students’ ability to solve mathematical fraction problems. The conclusion of this study affirms that digital educational comic media are feasible, practical, and effective for use as alternative mathematics learning media on fraction material. The implications of this study indicate that students can use digital educational comic media independently or in structured learning to strengthen their understanding of fraction concepts and improve learning motivation, while further research can test the effectiveness of the media over a longer period or on other mathematics topics.

Abstract

The phenomenon of divorce in Indonesia continues to increase, with more than 463,000 divorce cases decided in 2023, or an increase of approximately 15.3% compared with the previous year, and has caused profound psychological impacts, particularly on children during their developmental period. Although many studies on divorce have been conducted, reviews that specifically integrate the perspective of Islamic educational psychology remain limited. This study aims to analyze divorce from the perspective of Islamic educational psychology, examine its multilayered psychological impacts on children, and identify Islamic value-based resilience strategies relevant to children’s character education. This study used library research with a qualitative-descriptive approach through content analysis of primary and secondary literature sources published between 2012 and 2025. Data were collected from 47 sources obtained through Google Scholar, JSTOR, ERIC, and institutional repositories. The findings show that divorce affects children’s emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual dimensions. Islamic values, such as patience, tawakkal, and gratitude, serve as sources of resilience in facing these impacts. This study produced five main conceptual findings, namely the Multilayered Impact Model, the Spiritual Resilience Paradox, the centrality of the mother’s role as madrasatul ula, socio-cultural stigma as an obstacle to resilience, and the urgency of developing an integrated Islamic counseling model. These findings contribute to the development of Islamic educational psychology theory and offer a practical framework for educators, counselors, and policymakers in designing psychological support programs grounded in Islamic educational values.

Abstract

The implementation of the mutaba’ah book in Islamic education is one relevant habituation strategy for forming religious character and supporting the improvement of students’ achievement. However, conceptual studies that specifically discuss the GATOTKACA Mutaba’ah Book as an instrument for monitoring students’ activities at home remain limited. This study aims to conceptually and theoretically examine the implementation of the GATOTKACA Mutaba’ah Book at MIN 2 Sukoharjo as an instrument for forming religious character and improving students’ achievement. The GATOTKACA Mutaba’ah Book is an acronym for Gerakan Membatasi Menonton Televisi dan Bermain Gawai dengan Mengembangkan Budaya Membaca, which is designed to monitor daily worship, reading activities, and restrictions on the use of electronic media. This study used a literature study approach by analyzing implementation theory, the concept of the mutaba’ah book in Islamic education, religious character, learning achievement, and habituation. The results of the review show that the implementation of the GATOTKACA Mutaba’ah Book has the potential to become an effective instrument for forming students’ religious character through structured and documented worship habituation, improving learning achievement through the strengthening of discipline and time management, and building two-way communication between the madrasah and parents. The success of its implementation is determined by careful planning, resource support, clarity of rules and policies, and synergy among teachers, students, and parents. This review contributes theoretically to the development of a habituation-based character education model in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Its implications emphasize the importance of a structured, collaborative monitoring instrument oriented toward strengthening religious culture, literacy, and control over the use of electronic media in supporting students’ character development and achievement.

Abstract

The gap between established learning theories and their systematic and value-based implementation in the context of Islamic education indicates the need for an integrative study on the application of educational psychology in Indonesian madrasahs and Islamic schools. This article aims to analyze the theoretical foundations of five major theories of educational psychology, namely Behaviorism, Cognitivism, Constructivism, Humanism, and Social Learning Theory, identify their practical implications for learning, and formulate an integrative model that aligns scientific learning theories with Islamic educational principles. This study used a systematic literature review method by synthesizing national and international peer-reviewed publications from 2019 to 2025 obtained from Scopus, Web of Science, and SINTA-indexed Indonesian journals. The data were analyzed through a critical review of the main concepts, pedagogical implications, and relevance of Islamic educational values in each learning theory. The results of the review show that each theory provides a unique pedagogical contribution, yet remains partial when applied separately. The five theories have conceptual compatibility with classical Islamic pedagogy, such as ta‘wid, tafakkur, halaqah, fitrah, and uswah hasanah. The formulated integrative model shows that combining various learning theories within the framework of Islamic values can create a holistic, meaningful, reflective, and character-building learning environment. This review contributes to the development of a conceptual framework for Islamic educational psychology and provides practical implications for madrasah and Islamic school educators in applying an eclectic-reflective approach that contextually integrates scientific learning theories with Islamic pedagogical traditions.

Abstract

The internalization of madrasah core values has become an important issue in strengthening character education, particularly when Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers are required to align institutional values with national curriculum policies that are implemented simultaneously. This study aims to describe PAI teachers’ strategies in internalizing the five core values of MALISKA B’RANI MAJU, namely Happy, Friendly, Disciplined, Independent, and Honest, at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islam Jamsaren Surakarta, and to map their synergy with Panca Cinta in the Love-Based Curriculum (KBC) based on Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education Number 6077 of 2025 and the eight dimensions of the graduate profile in the Deep Learning approach in accordance with Regulation of the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Number 13 of 2025. This study used a library research method with an analytical-conceptual approach through the review of regulations, character education theory, and recent empirical literature. The results of the review show a very high level of alignment among the core values of MALISKA B’RANI MAJU, the pillars of Panca Cinta in KBC, and the dimensions of the Deep Learning graduate profile because all three are grounded in universal Islamic values. The six main internalization strategies identified include uswah hasanah, systematic habituation, mau‘izhah hasanah, meaningful learning, reflection-based mindful learning, and collaborative project-based joyful learning. This study affirms that the effectiveness of core value development in madrasahs depends greatly on the consistency of PAI teachers’ exemplary conduct and their ability to integrate KBC with the Deep Learning approach synergistically. The implications of this study encourage madrasahs to formalize a synergy map among madrasah core values, Panca Cinta in KBC, and the Deep Learning graduate profile in the operational curriculum document as a basis for strengthening Islamic value-based character education.

Abstract

The internalization of adab values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning plays an important role in shaping students’ character, discipline, and quality of learning, particularly in the context of integrated Islamic schools. This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing adab values in PAI learning and its implications for students’ learning achievement at SMPIT Ar-Risalah Surakarta. This study used a qualitative approach through library research by examining various scientific literature, books, journal articles, and previous research findings relevant to adab education, Islamic character education, and learning achievement. The results of the review showed that the internalization of adab values in PAI learning can be carried out through habituation, role modeling, value integration in the learning process, and the strengthening of school culture. The implementation of adab education contributes positively to students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. In addition, the internalization of adab values is able to improve students’ learning discipline, learning motivation, responsibility, and academic achievement. These findings contribute to strengthening the theoretical foundation regarding the relationship between adab education and students’ learning achievement in the context of integrated Islamic schools. The conclusion of this study affirms that the internalization of adab values in PAI learning functions not only as a reinforcement of Islamic character but also as a pedagogical strategy to support the improvement of students’ learning quality.

Abstract

Marriage readiness is an important issue in Islamic educational psychology because it is related to individual maturity, family well-being, and social stability. Although studies on marriage have been widely conducted from sociological and religious perspectives, conceptual discussions of marriage readiness through the lens of Islamic educational psychology, with an emphasis on personal maturity, remain limited. This study aims to analyze the concept of marriage readiness within the framework of Islamic educational psychology, particularly in the dimension of personal maturity and its implications for family life. This study used a qualitative approach with a library research design through a review of primary and secondary sources in the form of books, scientific journals, and relevant Islamic literature. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis. The results showed that marriage readiness in Islamic educational psychology encompasses emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social maturity that are interconnected and mutually reinforcing. Personal maturity functions as the main foundation for forming a harmonious, sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah family. These findings contribute to the development of the concept of Islamic educational psychology and expand understanding of marriage preparation in the Islamic context. The conclusion of this study affirms that holistic personal maturity is a fundamental aspect in realizing a quality and sustainable family life. The implications of this study include theoretical contributions to the literature on family psychology and Islamic education, as well as practical implications for educational institutions, Islamic counseling, and family policymakers in developing marriage preparation programs based on Islamic values.
