Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of students who have poor morals, such as students who still like to come late, don't respect teachers, don't picket class, don't do daily tests independently and still don't care about their friends. The indicators of akhlakul karimah are respect for elders, discipline, honesty and generosity. The aim of this research is to find out how to instill moral values ​​at MI Sudirman Mundu Gondangrejo Special Program, Karanganyar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis and processing is taken from when the researcher is in the field and after collecting data from the field. The results of the research concluded that the instilling of students' moral values ​​in the MI Sudirman Mundu Special Program was good. After efforts to instill good morals in students, the children's attitudes have begun to change. Students begin to respect the teacher, are disciplined, honest and care about their friends. Instilling morals in students is carried out by being a role model, providing advice, habituation, and providing a deterrent effect. The factors that influence the cultivation of students' morals are divided into 2 supporting factors, namely IMTAQ habits which are carried out every day and cooperation between fellow teachers in developing students' morals. The inhibiting factors are students' lack of awareness of good morals, lack of attention from parents, and the community environment, especially the social environment. The solutions used by teachers to overcome obstacles in instilling moral values ​​in students are providing advice, actively maintaining good relationships with parents/guardians of students and teachers always collaborating with other teachers.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role and thoughts of Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan, an Islamic reformer in Indonesia who founded Muhammadiyah. This research aims to examine his contribution to the reform of Islamic education and his influence in social and religious life. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this paper compiles data from literature and primary sources on Ahmad Dahlan's life and thought. The results show that Ahmad Dahlan had a great vision in integrating Islamic values with modern education. Through Muhammadiyah, he developed an education system that combined religious and general knowledge, making it relevant to the challenges of the times. His thinking was not only limited to education, but also touched on social aspects such as community empowerment and religious reform. This paper emphasises the importance of Ahmad Dahlan's role in the history of Islamic renewal in Indonesia. His thoughts and contributions remain relevant in the context of education and Islamic community development to this day.

Abstract

Learning is a complex process that involves interactions between teaching and learning, and is influenced by various factors such as motivation, self-efficacy, and the relationship between students and teachers. The main goal of education is to produce a generation that is intelligent and has noble character, as well as building good character through effective learning. Students' happiness in learning is an important indicator that influences their motivation and learning outcomes. This happiness can be seen from understanding the material, appreciation from the teacher, and the benefits that students feel from the lessons they receive. However, the joy of learning does not only depend on the learning method, but also on the bonds and relationships that exist between students and teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was obtained from main sources consisting of books, scientific journals and academic articles that discuss the meaning of happiness in learning. The analysis was carried out by reviewing various relevant literature to gain an understanding of the factors that influence student happiness in learning and their impact on learning outcomes and processes. This research emphasizes the importance of happiness in the learning process to support students' psychological development, as well as increase creativity, motivation and learning outcomes. In conclusion, creating a learning environment that is enjoyable and supports student happiness is very important to achieve the goals of quality education and the formation of student character.

Abstract

Knowledge which is the product of thinking activities is the torch of enlightenment of civilization where humans discover themselves and live life more perfectly. The epistemology of Islamic educational philosophy is a science that studies procedures and the process of obtaining Islamic educational philosophy by studying revelation and phenomena of the universe. The epistemology of Islamic educational philosophy is used to obtain knowledge of Islamic education. This research aims to analyze the epistemology of Islamic educational philosophy in increasing students' knowledge at Muhammadiyah Middle School Bayat Special Program. The epistemology of Islamic educational philosophy focuses on the sources of knowledge and methods used. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with three sources: two male teachers and one female teacher, as well as photo documentation of the interviews. The results of the research show that based on the correct source of guidance, namely the Al-Quran and Hadith, it is then developed with an ongoing curriculum and implementation of teaching with the best methods so as to increase students' knowledge in a focused manner and have character cultivation that meets the target.

Abstract

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of students' moral values ​​at MIM Al Akbar Pandeyan. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis and processing is taken when the researcher is in the field and after collecting data from the field. For data analysis, researchers collect data (display data) then reduce the data, present the data and then draw conclusions. From the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of students' moral values ​​at MIM Al Akbar Pandeyan is good. After efforts to instill good morals in students, the children's attitudes have begun to change. Students begin to respect the teacher, are disciplined, honest and care about their friends. Instilling morals in students is carried out by being a role model, providing advice, habituation, and providing a deterrent effect. The factors that influence the implementation of student morals are divided into 2 supporting factors, namely IMTAQ habits which are carried out every day and cooperation between fellow teachers in developing students' morals. The inhibiting factors are students' lack of awareness of good morals, lack of attention from parents, and the community environment, especially the social environment. The solutions used by teachers to overcome obstacles in implementing students' moral values ​​include providing advice, actively maintaining good relationships with students' parents/guardians and teachers always collaborating with other teachers.

Abstract

Homecoming (Mudik) and Halal Bihalal are significant traditions in Indonesian society, especially during Eid al-Fitr, reflecting social, cultural, and religious values. Mudik, the journey back to one’s hometown, is not only a moment for family reunions but also a symbol of respect for parents and the strengthening of intergenerational bonds. Meanwhile, Halal Bihalal plays a crucial role in maintaining and strengthening social ties through Islamic values such as mutual forgiveness, reinforcing brotherhood, and fostering harmony, even promoting interfaith tolerance. These traditions embody positive values such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), empathy, and tolerance while serving as a medium for preserving local culture and reinforcing national identity. By integrating moral, spiritual, and communal values, the traditions of Mudik and Halal Bihalal symbolize harmony and strengthen human relationships in a diverse society.

Abstract

Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution led by a kiai, operating through both formal and non-formal pathways, with the goal of studying, understanding, internalizing, and practicing Islamic teachings derived from classical texts. It emphasizes moral development and character building as a guide for daily life, along with a spirit of devotion in seeking divine (ilāhiyyah) values. Pesantren maintains a high level of integration with the surrounding community. Its function extends beyond education, serving as a social institution, a center for religious dissemination, and a moral reference for society. As an agent of socio-cultural change, pesantren plays a role in three key areas: 1) Tafaqquh fi al-din – Deepening religious knowledge through educational and dakwah institutions. 2) Teaching classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) – Using a dialogical, critical, and open approach, without dogmatic enforcement of specific doctrines or opinions. 3) Instilling akhlak al-karimah – Cultivating noble character both within and beyond the pesantren environment.

Abstract

Tauhid education for early childhood is crucial in shaping their belief in God, especially during their formative years. At Tahfidz Zahrawain Kindergarten, Tauhid education is implemented not only through theoretical teaching but also by integrating Tauhid values into daily activities that shape children's lives. This approach combines two aspects of Islamic philosophy: ontology, which teaches about God's existence, and epistemology, which guides children in acquiring knowledge about God through sensory experience and divine revelation. However, teaching the abstract concept of Tauhid to children who are still in a stage of simple cognitive development presents a challenge. Therefore, creative methods that align with children's psychological development are essential, such as learning supplications (du'a), practicing prayer (sholat), and memorizing the Qur'an. These methods help deepen their understanding of Tauhid holistically.

Abstract

The role of philosophy in Islamic education is united by a common goal, namely the search for truth. However, the difference is that philosophy is more about reason while Islamic education means efforts to advance the character (inner strength), mind (intellect), and body of students who must be in harmony with the natural and social environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Islamic philosophy in building education at Muhammadiyah Elementary School PK Bayat. The research method is a literature review which contains several ideas and proportions related to the study supported by data and information obtained from library sources. Some of the findings produced include education as a process of preparing a generation to live life and fulfill its life goals effectively and efficiently. The problems of Islamic education are approached with the framework of the hadharah triangle. From this conceptual development, the aim is to change into a visionary, integrative-interconnective, non-dichotomous Islamic education that can answer contemporary issues. These principles are woven into a concept of progressive and civilized Islamic education. Philosophical research is intended to examine the thoughts of figures and their educational concepts.
