Abstract

Children who grow up in an orphanage have the same rights as children who are in a family environment. Communication carried out by caragivers to provide motivation to foster children in terms of self-confidence. Based on this, orphanage caregivers need to carry out good communication patterns in increasing the confidence of foster children. Confidence is a very important element in everyday life. Confidence is an attitude, a feeling of confidence that exists in a person that he is capable of achieving a goal. Fpster children must ave high self-confidence to compete in terms of achievement with other children at school. The pattern of communication that must be owned by caregivers must be good so that foster children can be confident that caregivers are a place where they can tell stories and by communicating with caregivers can provide motivation for themselves.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the phenomenon stated at SMKN I Bonjol there were several students who were less able to control their emotions with indications: anxiety in facing exams, students who were unable to control fear when studying with teachers they didn't like or were angry, and uttered harsh words to his friends, students also like to be alone when they have problems, and students also like to scribble on their desks or notebooks, students also like to use harsh words and high tones. The purpose of this study was to find out how big the level of Emotional Intelligence Profile of Students at SMKN I Bonjol. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were 252 class XI students. The research sample consisted of 38 students who were taken using a random sampling technique. Data was collected using the questionnaire method with the Liker Scale instrument and then processed using data analysis techniques using statistical tests with the help of SPSS 16.0. the technique used in processing this research data is statistical test. In this study to see how big the level of Student Intelligence. is to perform statistical tests. The results of statistical tests that have been carried out through the SPSS application, namely that it can be seen that the overall average value is 3.40 with a percentage of 65.59% and a standard deviation of 157.1, it can be concluded that the profile level of the emotional intelligence of students at SMKN I Bonjol is at a high level.

Abstract

School rules are rules set by the school in order to create order and discipline for students at school. Violations committed by students will create an atmosphere that is not conducive. The background of this research is that the regulations that have been made by the school will determine the discipline of class VIII students of SMPN 1 Solok City. If there are students who are not disciplined, it means ignoring the rules that have been made by the school. The rules are bound by weights that will be a punishment for students who violate school rules. In this study used descriptive qualitative research methods. Data obtained from key informants and supporting informants. The key informant is a BK teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Solok City. And the supporting informants are homeroom teachers of subjects and class VIII students of SMP N 1 Solok City. The technique used in this research is interview and observation technique. In this study, it was revealed that discipline is strongly influenced by discipline because school rules have their respective weights. And if the weight has reached 150, students will be threatened with expulsion from school. The more violations, the more undisciplined the school will be. SMPN 1 Solo city is still able to maintain discipline and does not escape the important role of BK teachers in minimizing violations committed by students.

Abstract

In Indonesia, education is no longer purely a public good because some of it has been privatized by the government, so that people can no longer get it for free. It can be seen from the large number of private schools not only from local origins, but many international schools have been established in Indonesia, and also occur in various countries. This type of research is qualitative research using documentation study data collection methods in the form of relevant books and journals. Data analysis techniques start from data collection, data reduction, presentation and discussion of data then conclusions are drawn. The result of this research is that education can be a public good and can be a private good. Education as a public good because its provision is free, universal and equal access is the basis for producing other public goods. Education as a private good because of a necessity there is competition in getting a decent education. The competition must be purely a competition of intelligence and intellect, not a competition for money or position.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase learning activities and science learning outcomes in fourth grade students at SD Negeri 41 Mataram, given the low level of student learning activities in that class so that their learning outcomes were far below standard. This type of research is descriptive which means that it describes the data obtained through observation, practice questions and learning achievement tests in each cycle. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 41 Mataram learning 2017 / 2018, with the research subjects being class IV students, totaling 14 students. The research instrument used was Student Worksheets, observations of students and teachers. Retrieval of learning outcomes data using an evaluation test instrument of 15 multiple choice questions and observation sheets to calculate student activity. Analysis of learning outcomes data using individual completeness and classical completeness, so that the average achievement of student learning activities in cycle 1 is 73, and for learning outcomes is 79 while in cycle 2 student learning activities is 96 and for student learning outcomes is 93. So that it can be said that cooperative learning of the Numbered Heads together (NHT) type can increase the achievement and learning activities of class IV students at SD Negeri 41 Mataram in the 2017/2018 academic year.

Abstract

So far, education in schools has focused on developing intellectual intelligence (IQ), but has not touched much on emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual (SQ). When these three aspects develop in learning, educational outcomes will be more optimal. Therefore, research was carried out with the aim of producing an ESQ nuanced module on the coordination system material for class XI SMA/MA students. This research is a development research using three stages of the four 4-D (four-D) models which consist of defining, designing, and developing stages. The research subjects consisted of 2 Biology lecturers at FMIPA UNP, 1 teacher and 30 students of class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Limau. The research data is primary data obtained from validity and practicality questionnaires, then analyzed by descriptive analysis. From the results of the validity test, an average value of 86.30% was obtained with valid criteria, and the results of the practicality test by the teacher obtained an average value of 92.08% with very practical criteria, and the results of the practicality test by students obtained an average value of 92, 50% with very practical criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the ESQ nuanced module on the coordination system material for class XI SMA/MA students has valid and very practical criteria.

Abstract

Religious guidance is a process of providing appropriate assistance by mentors so that children can increase their piety through religious approaches. The religious approach is a container for fostering independence with good directions in accordance with the commands of Allah SWT so that children understand independence for a better future. The background of this research is considering the number of children who are less independent so that it becomes an obstacle in every action. Because nowadays educating children to be independent, it is necessary to use a religious approach so that children are independent in all things and teach children to always be guided by religious teachings. The use of this religious approach must be applied to children from an early age because religious development takes quite a long time so that the goals can be achieved properly. In this study using descriptive qualitative research. In this study it was revealed that the religious approach is very influential on the independence of children today. In this sophisticated era, children must be equipped with religious knowledge to guide children in the future. An independent child who is equipped with religious knowledge will be different from a child who is independent but is not equipped with religious knowledge. From the results of religious guidance carried out at the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage, it was able to show quality personality changes that were in accordance with religious rules.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of describing the religiosity habituation program, describing the methods used to internalize the religiosity habituation program for mentally retarded children, and identifying inhibiting and supporting factors in efforts to instill religiosity in mentally retarded children at the Qothrunnada Islamic Special School (SLB). This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by conducting observations, interviews, and also documentation. Development is also carried out in research through literature studies with reference to journals and related sources. The results showed that the Qotrunnada Islamic Special School (SLB) Qothrunnada Islamic SLB had several religious habituation and character support programs. The programs are habituation of disciplined behavior, habituation of carrying out 3S (smile, greeting, greeting), habituation of performing Dhuha prayers in congregation, habituation of Quran literacy, habituation of cleanliness, habituation of congregational midday prayers, MTQ extracurricular program, habituation of neatness, and habituation of respecting the opposite sex.

Abstract

Group guidance is the provision of services in a group atmosphere by utilizing group dynamics. In the implementation of this group guidance activity, it can be seen how the efforts to increase the self-confidence of young women as foster children who are in the Orphanage. This study aims to (1) describe self-confidence, (2) describe group guidance, (3) and reveal efforts to increase girls’ self-confidence through group guidance. This type of research is qualitative research using observation and interview methods of the orphanage administrators, foster mothers and foster children who are in the orphanage. The data that has been collected from the informant is then carried out data reduction and data verification regarding efforts to increase the confidence of young women through group guidance at the Hanifa Jorong 3 Orphanage, Kampung Nagari Gadut, Tilatang Kamang, Agam Regency. With this group guidance activity it can help increase the confidence of the foster children in this orphanage.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems that occur at the Abinnur Al-Islami Islamic Boarding School, especially class VIII, namely the religious awareness of students who are considered to be good enough as seen from awareness in carrying out religious orders such as praying on time, fasting sunnah, participating in religious activities and so on. . However, there are still students who are negligent in carrying out religious orders such as leaving prayers, delaying prayers, leaving the obligatory fast, namely during the month of Ramadan, there are still students who are lazy in participating in religious activities, tend to get emotional quickly and speak harshly, do not care about other people and so on. This study aims to determine the religious awareness of Class VIII students at the Abinnur Al-Islami Islamic Boarding School. This type of research is quantitative research that is descriptive in nature by describing, explaining and interpreting events in accordance with the facts obtained, the results of which are in the form of numbers. The population in this study was 447. The samples taken were 82 people from the population using simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale type. Data analysis techniques and raw data processing using Microsoft Excel with the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that the religious awareness of students at the Abinnur Al-Islami Islamic Boarding School, especially Class VIII, as a whole there are two indicators that are in the medium category, namely worship awareness with 75 students in the medium category with a percentage of 91.46% and 7 students in the category low with 8.54% and indicators of awareness of the morals of students with 65 students in the medium category with a percentage of 79.27% and 17 students in the high category with a percentage of 20.73%. As for muamalah awareness with 48 people in the very low category with a percentage of 58.54% and 34 people in the low category with a percentage of 41.46% and in social awareness there are 79 students in the very low category with a percentage of 96.34% and 3 people in low category with a percentage of 3.66%. This means that the muamalah and social awareness of the santri is not good and the pesantren should understand the problems experienced by the santri, especially those related to muamalah and social awareness so that the santri can increase their muamalah and social awareness.
