Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out whether the Window Shopping model in science learning can improve the cooperative character of fourth grade students at SDN Polokarto 03. Window shopping is a learning mode based on group work where you broaden your horizons by walking around and looking at other people's work, types This window shopping instills the essence of mutual collaboration and global diversity. In group window shopping, students with different roles work together on group assignments. The teacher is integrated into learning, school activities, enabling students to develop good habits and engage in group cooperation by showing booths that other groups can visit. There are government plans to support the development of global diversity and collaborative character by implementing a six-dimensional self-contained curriculum in the Pancasila student profile. Growth of Global Diversity and Mutual Collaboration. Based on the results of Classroom Action Research that can be carried out in science learning by applying the window shopping learning model to fourth grade students at SDN Polokarto 033 Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year for two cycles, it can be concluded that the Application of the Window Shopping Learning Model can strengthen the character of Mutual Cooperation in Science Subjects for Grade IV Students at SDN Polokarto 03 for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Strengthening the character of mutual cooperation is evidenced by a significant increase in pre-cycle and in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, the achievement value of the mutual cooperation character reflection indicator was 53.3%. Then in the first cycle the reflection indicator achievement value was obtained by 64% or an increase of 10.7% and cycle II the reflection indicator achievement value increased to 80% or an increase of 16%.

Abstract

An antenna radiation pattern experiment has been carried out with the aim of determining the patch antenna radiation pattern on a logarithmic and linear scale, understanding the properties and principles of the antenna, and understanding the types of antenna radiation patterns. In the experiment, the angle, frequency, and radian intensity data were obtained, and the value of the linear intensity was calculated. With the principle of converting electrical signals into electromagnetic signals. a graph between angle and intensity is obtained. the graph between radian intensity and angle forms a circular pattern, in which the value of intensity and frequency at each point with a difference of 5 degrees has almost the same value. In conclusion, the antenna is a structure that can receive and release electromagnetic waves in the air. The patch antenna used has a unidirectional radiation pattern. Converts electromagnetic signals into electrical signals and vice versa, has a certain radiation pattern, and is easily disturbed by metallic materials.

Abstract

The study of this paper focuses on the study of the thought figure of Thomas Lickona. Thomas Lickona is a researcher and educational activist who lives in America, especially character education. Thomas Lickona in his view of character education has a theory of character education, he says that there are three things that are at the core of character education, namely, nowing the good (good knowledge), viling the good (love of goodness), action the good (deeds the good one). This study aims to determine Thomas Lickona's character education concept as a strategy for building good character for students. This research method uses library research. This research is descriptive analytic in nature, namely explaining and analyzing Thomas Lickona's thoughts about character education in a systematic way so that it is easy to understand. The results of this study are, when researched and analyzed, basically Thomas Lickona's thoughts or character education theory quotes a lot or is inspired by the thoughts of Ancient Greek philosophy and Islamic philosophy, especially the thoughts of Ibn Miskawaih in the Book of Tahdibul Akhlak, where he says that there are ten The main ethics or morals that must be instilled in students are: wisdom, justice, patience, self-control, love, positive attitude, hard work, sincerity, gratitude or gratitude, and humility.

Abstract

This research is motivated by making alternative energy from waste. Currently, the waste problem is dominated by plastic waste. The most common use of plastic waste is plastic bags for shopping. This results in accumulation of waste. Briquettes are an alternative energy. The best briquettes are from coconut shells. This study made briquettes from coconut shells with added plastic waste with variations of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. Making briquettes goes through several stages, namely flouring the basic ingredients, making dough, molding and characterization. The characterization results show that the greater the added value of plastic waste, the greater the calorific value produced. This can affect the value of the briquette burning song. Maximum results were obtained from coconut shell briquettes with the addition of 25% plastic waste, namely 8261.2 cal/g.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to increase student achievement and creative thinking skills through the application of focus group discussions and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors. In this study the data obtained in the field used observation, documentation and interview techniques. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach with two data collection methods, namely primary data and secondary data, primary data by interviews and secondary data by collecting exam questions and quizzes during the lesson for one semester. books and archives of student grades related to research objectives. The results of this study indicate that there is still unsatisfactory relationship between the supporting lecturers and the students involved in learning, especially in class. Shows that students are still overwhelmed, confused in interacting with others.

Abstract

In education, the following are the general components of the curriculum: objectives, material or content, process or delivery system, media, and evaluation. Islamic Religious Education and Character Education, Pancasila Education, Indonesian Language, Mathematics, and Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) are the five primary school subject areas covered by the Merdeka Curriculum. Of course, there are four different curriculum components for each subject area. To achieve learning outcomes in each subject, everything becomes an inseparable unit. This is intended as reading material to understand each part of the subject, especially the contents of the five subject areas taught in elementary schools.

Abstract

Lack of knowledge about the world of work, the lack of students who work according to the program of expertise, some students follow friends in choosing majors, are not too sure whether the chosen major is correct or not, and still lack knowledge or training about the world of work. The research objective was to determine the readiness of vocational high school students to face the world of work at SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. The research sample comprised 40 respondents, 21 class XII TITL students, and 19 T.GEO students. This type of research is the quantitative descriptive method of field research (field research). Quantitative descriptive is research that seeks to describe or describe a phenomenon or event that is happening. The population of this study amounted to 498 students. The technique for collecting data is a questionnaire/questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement scale. The sampling technique used random sampling. Data analysis techniques use descriptive quantitative methods. From all the data, it can be concluded that the overall average score is 57.7% with a standard deviation of 0.58 which is classified as in the medium category. Based on the research that has been done, it is known that students' readiness to face the world of work is moderate. Hopefully, this research can be used as material for future consideration in vocational schools to prepare students to face the world of work.

Abstract

Learning to read Iqra' which is held at SDIT Baiturrahim Parik Putuih It is a routine activity that is carried out every morning after the Dhuha prayer, Iqra' learning is carried out before carrying out the teaching and learning process, namely at 08.30 WIB, reading the Koran is carried out for 30 minutes. The formulation of the problem in this study includes the following: 1). What is the method of Islamic Religious Education in overcoming reading difficulties for iqra' grade 1 students at SDIT Baiturrahim Parik Putuih. 2). What methods are used by Islamic religious education teachers in overcoming Iqra reading difficulties for grade 1 students at SDIT Baiturrahim Parik Putuih. This study uses a type of qualitative research, data collection techniques that the authors apply in the preparation of this article, namely observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that: 1). the method of Islamic religious education in overcoming students' difficulties in reading iqra' by using the iqro method (reading the letters of the Koran fluently) and this method does not require various tools because it is only aimed at reading it. .2) What methods do Islamic Religious Education teachers use in overcoming Iqra' reading difficulties, namely using individual, individual or individual teaching? Individuals advance one by one to the teacher according to each page. parents to encourage their children to continue learning to read Iqra' at home so that their children are fluent in reading Iqra' at school.

Abstract

The learning process can be successful, if the teacher has views that are in line with his philosophy, meaning that the success of the teacher in teaching can be seen from the extent to which the teacher applies the plan in the implementation of learning, so that the indicators set in the lesson plan are well absorbed by students. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach research method. Qualitative research is conducted to answer research according to problems that occur in the field where the research is carried out. The author uses data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews with teachers at SDN Kedaung Wetan 5 Tangerang City. Based on the data and research results as well as analysis to draw conclusions the authors use the "inductive" conclusion method, which departs from specific data to general conclusions. So the writer can conclude that class management in the learning process at SDN Kedaung Wetan 5 Kota Tangerang has made various efforts through: teaching objectives, time management, room arrangements (facilities), grouping students in learning.

Abstract

In understanding the characteristics of each student, it is actually heterogeneous. In this case it can be seen that not all students can participate in learning activities easily. Identification of the character of students actually requires a juridical basis and a theory. the researcher provides an understanding with the aim of identifying the character of students in class 1 at SD Negeri 15 Tangerang through techniques adapted to educators. In this study using qualitative methods and support from data collection through observation, interviews and also documentation to support the data from this study. The results of the study show that in fact the characteristics identification technique for students actually requires conformity developed by educators to be able to provide more attractiveness and adaptation to children. These techniques include self-mastery techniques, class mastery, material mastery, approaches to students and also language delivery events or even the way teachers dress. This is actually an important element in identifying the character of students.
