Abstract

What is meant by vocabulary comprehension is a person's ability to use the vocabulary he possesses to communicate and express ideas with the listener, whether in writing or orally. This ability appears when developing linguistic skills such as speaking skill, listening skill, writing skill, and reading good Arabic. The meaning of memorizing the Qur’an is the attempt to enter the verses of the Qur’an into the chest and preserve it from loss and forgetfulness and to try to read it without fault, that is, without looking at the Holy Qur’an, ensuring it, preparing it, and being upright in it. Preserving what has been memorized, protecting it from loss, preventing it from forgetfulness, mental loss, and loss, and being present must have knowledge of Arabic. From it is impossible for someone who meditates on the Holy Qur’an without knowledge of the Arabic language. Research question: Is there a relationship between memorizing the Holy Qur’an among female students in the second grade of middle school and their ability to comprehend vocabulary at the Abdullah bin Masoud Asahi Institute? What was its strength and direction? The aim of writing this research is to find out the relationship between memorizing the Holy Qur’an among female students in the second year of school. Intermediate level and his ability to comprehend vocabulary at the Abdullah bin Masoud Asahi Institute. The method used in this research is the quantitative relational method and the research method used is the statistical method with a program and the result of this research is that there is a moderate relationship between memorizing the Holy Qur’an among female students in the second year of middle school and their ability to comprehend vocabulary at the Abdullah bin Masoud Asahi Institute. The value of the coefficient. The correlation is 0,476 and its direction is the same.

Abstract

Speaking skill is a productive skill that involves the process of learning various aspects of the Arabic language. To acquire this skill, one needs to understand grammar, morphology, vocabulary, style, and meanings. Proficiency in speaking Arabic requires comprehension of the elements and rules of the language, including vocabulary acquisition, sentence structure, speech context, and the ability to understand the speaker's language. Vocabulary is a very important linguistic element that must be mastered, used in both spoken and written language. This issue leads to weaknesses in vocabulary comprehension and the presence of excuses for not speaking Arabic in certain situations. The methodology used in this research is a quantitative correlational method, and the data analysis technique employed is the statistical method using Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient. The research results indicate that there is a moderate positive correlation between vocabulary comprehension and students' academic achievement in speaking skills for the first-grade students at the Abdullah bin Masoud Institute in Asahan, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.474.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is, (1) what is the ability of first grade students at Ulun Nuha Islamic Middle School in Medan to master mufrodath using imitation and memorization methods, (2) what is the ability of first grade students at Ulun Nuha Islamic Middle School in Medan to master mufrodath without using the method imitating and memorizing, (3) what is the influence of the use of imitating and memorizing methods on the mastery of mufrodath in the first grade of Ulun Nuha Islamic Middle School, Medan. The research method used is quantitative research in the form of an experimental research method and data analysis techniques using statistics with a True Experimental research design with a posttest-only control design. And the female students' scores have been obtained: (1) By using the method of imitating and memorizing the mastery of mufrodath in the experimental class using the formula with the achievement "Jayyid" with an average score of 79.9, (2) Meanwhile the level of ability of female students without using the method of imitating and memorizing mastery of mufrodath in the control class using a formula with the achievement "Jayyid Murtafi'" with an average score of 51.8, (3) Then there is the influence of using imitation and memorization methods on mastery of mufrodath by referring to the value of the t-test using the formula, namely the value t0 is greater than the tt value, 9.52 > 2.76. And this explanation shows that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of imitation and memorization methods on mastery of mufrodat.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the school environment which was not as good as expected by Taruna Padang Vocational School. The aim of this research is to obtain information regarding students' perceptions of the school environment at Taruna Padang Vocational School, which is seen from the aspects of school facilities, learning resources, learning media, teacher-student relationships and student-student relationships. Therefore, the problem that will be studied in this research is, "how good is the school environment at SMK Taruna Padang?". The type of research used was descriptive quantitative with the research population being students of class X and XI SMK Taruna Padang, totaling 125 students and a sample of 55 students. Samples were drawn using the Slovin formula and taken using random sampling techniques. From the results of data processing, the average score of students' perceptions of the school environment seen from the aspect of school facilities is 3.18 in the quite good category, the average score of students' perceptions of the school environment seen from the aspect of learning resources is 3.18 in the fair category. good, the average score of students' perceptions of the school environment seen from the learning media aspect is 3.24 in the quite good category, the average score of students' perceptions of the school environment seen from the aspect of the relationship between teachers and students is 3.71 in the good category, the score The average student perception of the school environment seen from the aspect of student-student relationships is 3.60 in the good category. From these results it can be concluded that students' perceptions of the school environment at Taruna Padang Vocational School are quite good with an average score of 3.38.

Abstract

This research is motivated by learning outcomes which are used as a benchmark to determine the level of student success. Ideally, students who get optimal learning outcomes have good self-management. However, students can still be found experiencing difficulties in self management, thus hampering the learning process and having an impact on learning outcomes. Student self-management can be influenced by external factors, one of which is the social environment, namely peers who have emotional ties or attachment (peer attachment). This research aims to determine the relationship between peer attachment and student self-management in studying at MAN 1 Padang City. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational research type. The sample in this study was 155 students selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The data was processed using descriptive analysis techniques and Pearson product moment correlation analysis. The research results show that student peer attachment is in the high category with a percentage of (87.1%), student self-management is in the high category with a percentage of (77.4%) and there is a significant and positive relationship between peer attachment and self-management in students with The calculated r correlation value is 0.522 with a significance level of <0.00 at a moderate level of relationship.

Abstract

This research is motivated by children from broken homes due to their parents' divorce, which impacts children in terms of happiness, decision-making confusion, emotional stability, the demand to adjust to different parenting styles received, and the lack of parental support during developmental transitions. The impact on broken home children can be minimized by enhancing individual subjective well-being. One way to enhance subjective well-being is through parental attachment. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental attachment and subjective well-being among broken home students at SMP N 34 Padang. The research uses a quantitative method with a correlational study type. The population in this study consists of 60 broken home students from grades VII and VIII for the 2023/2024 academic year at SMP N 34 Padang, using Total Sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a parental attachment questionnaire and a subjective well-being questionnaire for broken home students. The data were processed using descriptive analysis techniques and Pearson product-moment correlation analysis with the help of SPSS version 20.0 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that (1) the parental attachment of broken home students is in the medium category with a percentage of 73.3%, (2) the subjective well-being of broken home students is in the high category with a percentage of 50.0%, and (3) there is a significant relationship between parental attachment and subjective well-being in broken home students, with a correlation value (r) of 0.692 and a significance level of <0.000, indicating a high level of relationship. Based on these research findings, guidance and counseling services that can be provided to enhance parental attachment and subjective well-being in broken home students include information services, individual counseling services, and group counseling services.

Abstract

The research questions are: What are the problems of female students in learning the Arabic language vocabulary in the first grade at the Islamic School Ulu Al-Nuha, Johor Square, and what are the solutions from the school to the students’ problems in learning the Arabic language vocabulary in the first grade at the Islamic School, Ulu Al-Noha, Johor Square. The method used is qualitative descriptive research of the type of field research, using the observation and interview method in collecting data. The results of this research are summarized as follows: (1) The problems of female students in learning the vocabulary of the Arabic language are that they rarely use the Arabic language and are not accustomed to using the Arabic language because they do not have the courage, less ability to allocate time between memorizing vocabulary and memorizing the Qur’an, difficulty in memorizing the vocabulary that They were not used to hearing it. (2) The school’s solutions to the students’ problems in learning Arabic vocabulary are to consider the students’ learning methods in choosing learning methods. The students try to get used to using the daily Arabic language with vocabulary. The school gives daily assignments to the students to memorize the vocabulary on the day. Abstract

Geography is a subject that contains memorized material, so it seems boring. Therefore, the presence of an interesting learning model is very necessary. To overcome this learning process, teachers are required to use creative learning models. One of the creative learning models is the think pair share cooperative learning model. This research aims to 1) analyze learning outcomes in the control class, 2) analyze learning outcomes in the experimental class, 3) analyze the influence of the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative learning model on students' geography learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative correlational with experimental research type. In this research, the approach used was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control design research design. The samples taken in this research were 72 students in two classes, namely classes X E1 and X E2. Data collection techniques include observation, pretest and posttest, questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed using statistical tests such as normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, partial correlation analysis, simple linear regression analysis, hypothesis and N-Gain. The results of the research showed that the posttest score for the experimental class had an average learning outcome of 85 compared to the control class which obtained an average result of 63. This shows that the experimental class experienced a significant increase in learning outcomes compared to the control class which used the conventional model. The N-Gain test results of students in the experimental class got a percentage of 62% (quite effective), while those in the control class got a percentage of 40% (less effective). Simple linear regression analysis also shows that there is an influence of 51% between the use of the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative learning model and student learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share Cooperative learning model has a positive influence on students in learning geography at SMAS Adabiah Padang.

Abstract

Learning is a plan that is used as a guide in carrying out a learning process. The low student learning outcomes in the Geography subject can be seen from the scores that are below the KKM. This research aims to, 1 analyze the learning outcomes of the control class, 2 analyze the learning outcomes of the experimental class, 3 the influence of the Project Based Learning learning model on geography subjects at SMAN 14 Padang. The method used by researchers is quantitative with a type of correlational research using quasi experimental. Meanwhile, the sample was taken in the form of purposive sampling as many as 72 people, namely 36 students in class XIF 8 as the control class and 36 students in class XIF 10 as the experimental class, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests, questionnaires, documentation. The data analysis techniques that researchers use are: Normality, Homogeneity, Linearity, Partial correlation, simple linear regression and determination tests. The use of the Project Based Learning model has been proven to have a significant influence on student learning outcomes. The following research results in the experimental learning class using the Project Based Learning model are better than the control class which only focuses on the teacher, while to find out how much influence the Project Based Learning model has on student learning outcomes can be seen from the coefficient of determination R of 0.912 and the coefficient determination (R Square) is 0.831, which means that the influence given is 83.1% while 16.9 comes from outside.

Abstract

Students often face various academic challenges that can cause stress. Higher education, as an educational institution, has a major role in developing human resources and increasing the nation's competitiveness, so the educational curriculum becomes very demanding which causes stress in students referred to as academic stress. One of the factors that influence academic stress is the year of study. The objectives of this research are 1) To describe the academic stress of first-year students; 2) To describe the academic stress of final year students; 3) To examine whether there is a difference in academic stress between first year students and final year students. This research method is quantitative with comparative descriptive research type. The population in this study were 300 students with a sample of 172 students selected by proportional random sampling method. Data collection in this study used academic stress instruments with a likert scale of 45 items that had been tested for validity and reliability, namely 0.926. Data were processed using percentage analysis techniques and comparative analysis techniques with the independent sample t-test formula. The results of this study indicate that (1) Academic stress of first-year students is in the moderate category (56.41%); (2) Academic stress of final-year students is in the moderate category (57.17%); (3) There is no significant difference between the differences in academic stress of first-year students and final-year students, with a t value of 0.555 with a significance level of 0.679>0.05. Based on the results of this study, counselors can provide assistance to students through information services, individual counseling services, group guidance services, group counseling services.
