Abstract

The threat of COVID-19 is not only for adults but also for children. The COVID-19 pandemic has a psychological effect, a heavy stressor for mothers who have children. The purpose of this study was to look at the anxiety of mothers who have toddlers during the COVID-19 pandemic and the factors that influence it. The method used is descriptive quantitative exploring the anxiety of mothers who have health toddlers. The sample size in this study was 107 mothers who had children from 0 months to 5 years of age. This anxiety questionnaire was prepared by modifying the HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale). Data collection was carried out by distributing google forms via WhatsApp groups to eight-village toddler classes in the Pekalongan Regency area. The results showed that mothers who had toddlers felt very heavy anxiety (51.4%) due to the covid-19 pandemic. This level of anxiety is related to the mother's working status (-0.0153) and the age of the youngest child (0.0326). This study concludes that the anxiety of mothers who have toddlers is very high due to the covid-19 pandemic. The level of anxiety is influenced by the status of working mothers and the age of the youngest child. The smaller the age of the child, the higher the mother's anxiety about the health of the toddler. Therefore, the role of health workers in providing accurate and fast information during a pandemic is very significant in reducing the level of anxiety for mothers who have toddlers. The role of health workers in providing accurate and fast information during a pandemic is very significant in reducing the level of anxiety for mothers who have toddlers.

Abstract

Background: Nurses are one of the health workers from hospital services andbecome a benchmark in determining the quality of hospital health services. Incarrying out nursing duties, nurses must have a professional attitude startingfrom the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. Watson's theory ofhuman care reveals that caring is a form of relationship that is needed betweenthe giver and recipient of nursing care, to improve and protect patients, whichwill affect the patient's ability to recover. Caring behavior that is not good willhave an impact on decreasing service quality and client satisfaction, especially inhospitals, besides that it can reduce the number of client visits to health facilitiesand can later cause financial losses to health facilities, where the image of theinstitution is determined by the quality of service which will later be able toincrease client satisfaction and service quality. Objective: to determine therelationship between nurse work stress and caring behavior in MuntilanHospital. Methods: this type of research is descriptive correlation, with a crosssectional approach which data collection uses simple random sampling techniqueand the data is processed using the Spearman test with a sample of nurses in theinpatient room of Muntilan Hospital, totaling 47 nurses. Results: Spearman ranktest results show that there is a significant relationship between nurse workstress and caring behavior with a value (p=0.001 and r=-0.450). Conclusion:There is a relationship between nurse work stress and caring behavior withsufficient correlation strength.

Abstract

Background : Mother's milk (ASI) is the most perfect food source for babies because it contains various substances and antibodies that are important for the growth and development of babies. Breastfeeding means providing nutrients with high nutritional value needed for growth and development of nerves and brain, providing immunity against several diseases and creating emotional bonds between mother and baby. The problem of giving breast milk (ASI) to babies deserves serious attention from the government and the community, and the ineffectiveness of exclusive breastfeeding can cause nutritional disorders. The low coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is caused by mothers who work outside the home and lack of knowledge on how to give exclusive breastfeeding to babies. Exclusive breastfeeding behavior can also be influenced by the so-called facilitation factors (education, knowledge, age, occupation, number of children and breastfeeding experience), supporting factors (family income, availability of time and maternal health), and driving factors (family support). and health worker support). Objective: The general purpose of this literature review is to determine the factors that influence the behavior of mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. Methods: The method used in this study is a literature review design, article searches using a database from a journal, namely Google Scholar. A total of 13 articles met the inclusion criteria. The total sample used in 13 articles is 1310 respondents. The sampling technique in this research is Cross Sectional. Abstract

Nanoparticles delivery system of of herbal preparations and their combinations has received more attention from scientists recently. This combination might lead to chemical reactions among the added constituents. This study aims to compare the FT-IR profile of Carbopol-940 base before and after the addition of soursop extract and zinc oxide nanoparticle. The preparation is made by mixing the base with Annona muricata nano-extracts and nano-zinc. Extraction was carried out by cold maceration of A. muricata leaves in ethanol and then convert into nanoparticles with the assisting of Chitosan biopolymer by ionic gelation method. Nano-zinc is formulated by precipitating zinc acetate by sodium hydroxide. The two nano-formulas were then mixed up into the Carbopol-940 gel matrix. The results show a shift in the profile of Carbopol-940 at a wavelength of 1500 nm to 1700 nm. From the results, it can be seen that there is no difference in the physical characteristics of the base with the addition of the two nano active ingredients. Further research needs to be done to confirm this finding.
