Abstract

In the digital era, the transformation of payment methods has become crucial to enhancing business efficiency and competitiveness, especially for street vendors in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Senayan area. The implementation of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among street vendors enables quick, safe, and simple digital transactions, supporting financial inclusion and reducing risks associated with cash handling. The QRIS awareness program conducted at GBK Senayan aimed to improve vendors' understanding of the benefits of digital payments, such as better financial management, reduced need for change, and increased security. This initiative included hands-on training, distribution of informative brochures, and direct practice to equip vendors with essential digital skills. As a result, 70% of vendors who participated in the program began using QRIS, and a positive shift in attitudes toward digital payment technology was observed. Primary challenges included limited technological understanding and unstable internet access; however, these can be addressed through ongoing technical support and assistance from technology service providers. With appropriate support, QRIS adoption among street vendors is expected to continue, enhancing competitiveness and ease for both vendors and consumers in the digital age.

Abstract

The community service program titled "Improving Welfare through Sport Massage Training in Samarinda City" aimed to equip participants with sport massage skills beneficial for health and economic potential. The program was conducted through a comprehensive approach, including material delivery, treatment demonstrations, hands-on practice, skill evaluation, and real-condition simulations. The initial stage focused on delivering basic concepts of sport massage, simple anatomy and physiology, and fundamental techniques through interactive presentations. Experienced instructors then demonstrated proper massage techniques on main body parts and specific areas prone to tension or injury, emphasizing safety and comfort. Participants were divided into small groups for hands-on practice, receiving guidance and feedback from instructors. Skill evaluation ensured participants understood correct and safe techniques. Real-condition simulations allowed participants to role-play as massage service providers, enhancing their confidence in handling clients professionally. The program resulted in high participant satisfaction levels, with the highest satisfaction in the practice and simulation sessions. Participants showed significant improvement in understanding and applying sport massage techniques, and increased readiness to practice their skills professionally. This community service program successfully empowered participants with valuable skills that contribute to both health and economic well-being in Samarinda City.

Abstract

Community empowerment in the formation and management of waste banks and used cooking oil waste in RW 03, Medokan Semampir Village, Sukolilo District, Surabaya City, aims to increase community awareness and participation in protecting the environment. This program was initiated as a response to the problem of solid and liquid waste which is often ignored, even though it has the potential to be managed into a resource with economic value. Through the waste bank, residents are involved in the process of managing household waste, sorting organic and inorganic waste, and utilizing it into valuable or recyclable items. Meanwhile, for used cooking oil waste, collection and education are carried out regarding the negative impacts of careless disposal of oil on the environment, as well as its use as raw material for biodiesel or other environmentally friendly products. The community empowerment approach is carried out through outreach, training and mentoring by the driving team. This program not only aims to improve the environment, but also opens up economic opportunities for local communities through a savings system from the sale of collected waste and used cooking oil. The results of this activity show an increase in environmental awareness among the community, as well as real economic benefits felt by the residents of RW 03.

Abstract

Pineapple plants are one of the leading fruits that have high economic potential in Indonesia, but often pineapple cultivation is not optimal, especially in terms of land management. The implementation of this PKM aims to provide socialization on correct soil processing to pineapple farmers in Harum Manis, Kubu Raya Regency. Pineapple farmers in that location still don't understand how to cultivate the land properly and just plant like that. Moreover, there are many obstacles currently faced by farmers, such as land shortages and extreme climate change. The method used in implementing this PKM is direct socialization followed by questions and answers. The activity went very well as shown by the enthusiasm of the farmers participating in this activity. It is hoped that after this PKM activity is completed, pineapple farmers can carry out proper soil processing to increase optimal pineapple growth and production.

Abstract

Besides being a primary source of protein, fish play a role in the economy of coastal communities and consumption culture in Indonesia. The main issue that needs to be addressed is the lack of public understanding, especially among students, about choosing fresh and high-quality fish. The public does not have adequate knowledge about the sensory quality of fish, such as texture, smell, and color, which are the main indicators of freshness. As a result, consuming low-quality fish can impact health and reduce the nutritional value received. This activity aims to develop students' ability to identify fresh fish based on sensory quality. The approach was carried out through education using PowerPoint media that presents the material visually and interactively. The material includes the characteristics of fresh fish, the importance of choosing quality fish, and a sensory observation guide. The pre-activity test results indicate that the majority of students have minimal understanding in identifying fresh fish. After the presentation of the material, the results indicated an improvement ranging from 5.0 to 68.42%. Students provided positive feedback on the visualizations used in the presentation. This activity successfully raised students' awareness about the importance of the sensory quality of fresh fish for health and daily life.

Abstract

The teaching assistance program is one of the main work programs in KKNT-MBKM which provides students with the opportunity to study outside the campus environment. This activity is carried out for 1 week and takes place at SDN 64 Sori Baru and SMPN 12 Kota Bima, Lelamase Village, Bima City. In this Merdeka curriculum, students assist teachers in teaching and guiding students in understanding the subjects that will be taught at the school. In addition to these responsibilities, students must maintain a strong sense of morality and strive to increase students' enthusiasm for learning. Through this activity, it is hoped that students can improve their soft skills and work skills. As for schools, this activity is able to improve educational services and students gain understanding and knowledge in terms of learning, this work program has a major impact on the parties involved

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the writing skills of students of SMAN 12 Palembang, especially in composing Instagram captions using the 5W + 1H method. The activity of the Student Creativity Program (PkM) is carried out in the form of counseling and training. the target of counseling and training activities is SMA Negeri 12 Palembang class XI students as many as 34 people. The results of the activity show that students are able to compile informative, relevant, and accurate captions, as well as increase awareness of responsibility in disseminating information on social media. This is expected to be a real contribution in building a responsible literacy culture in the digital era.

Abstract

Technology, especially gadgets, has evolved rapidly and become an integral part of our everyday life. The widespread use of gadgets, especially among children, brings significant positive and negative impacts. This research aims to socialize the impact of gadget use on children in the Timbang Lawan Village, Langkat Regency. This socialization program is designed toprovide information to the community about the effects of gadget use, both positive and negative, as well as ways to overcome these negative impacts. both positive and negative, as well as ways to overcome these negative impacts. Methods The research method used was descriptive observational, which involved data collection, classification, analysis, and report generation. Results socialization showed that excessive use of gadgets can result in negative impacts such as addiction, decreased social skills,as well as interference in learning. Conversely, positive impacts include ease of communication, increased creativity, and faster access to information. faster access to information. Through this socialization program, it is hoped that the community, especially parents, can better understand and manage the use of gadgets in children.parents, can better understand and manage the use of gadgets in their children their children. Abstract

Turunan parsial is one of the fundamental concepts in multivariate calculus that has many applications, such as optimization, data analysis, and mathematical modeling. Understanding theory is often difficult, especially when there is no visual aid. This article discusses the use of MATLAB as a powerful tool for parsial analysis and visualization. Through the use of 3D charting and symbolic computing features, MATLAB facilitates multivariate function analysis. Research on the function f(x,y)=x^2+y^2+xy shows how parsial turunan is observed and visualized in an interactive manner. This article's goal is to encourage the use of MATLAB in long-term math education and research.

Abstract

The community service program titled 'Catfish Farming in Buckets and Digital Marketing Efforts Using Social Media' aims to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills on simple, cost-effective, and appropriate methods for catfish farming in limited spaces. This initiative responds to the needs of the Tembalang community, which seeks to engage in farming activities on limited land while also exploring ways to market their agricultural products via social media platforms. The training was conducted using a participatory approach, which incorporated theory, hands-on practice, and interactive discussions. The content of the training included, among other things, techniques for catfish farming in buckets as well as strategies for utilizing social media to market the cultivated catfish products. Participants were guided to apply proper aquaculture practices using the provided cultivation buckets and equipment, and were then asked to capture images of their farming outcomes to be used as marketing content on social media. The implementation of this activity proceeded smoothly, and the participants showed strong enthusiasm throughout the process. It is anticipated that this training will enable the Tembalang community to effectively leverage technology, particularly social media platforms such as WhatsApp, as a tool for digital marketing of their catfish farming products.
