Abstract

The Windows operating system installation workshop at the Nafidatunnajah Islamic Boarding School is a manifestation of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and a real effort to improve digital literacy among students and teachers. This activity aims to introduce the basic concepts of operating systems and provide a practical understanding of their installation, so that participants can master the technological skills needed in the modern era. This workshop plays an important role in addressing the digital divide, especially in Islamic boarding schools that may have limited access to technology. Through collaboration with higher education institutions, such as lecturers from the Informatics Engineering study program at Pamulang University, this activity can be carried out more effectively. The material presented focuses on the installation of the Windows operating system, with the hope that students will gain a deep understanding of information and communication technology and improve their digital skills. The expected outputs of this activity include scientific publications in reputable journals that can be used as references by other schools in addressing the lack of technology utilization. In addition, it is hoped that Islamic boarding school students will be able to design accurate and interesting information, increasing competitiveness in the world of work. The scientific journal articles produced are also expected to contribute to the development of science in the field of community service and local community empowerment.

Abstract

Sigapiton is one of the villages in Ajibata District, Toba Regency, with an area of 70.80 km² (BPS,2018). Sigapiton village consst of Hamlet I (Lumban Butar-butar 1 and Lumban Butar-butar 2), Hamlet II (Sosor Dolok. Sosor Baringin, Lumban Nauli,Lumban Hasatan). Sigapiton village has a total of 175 has of families, assuming that each family has 4—7 people. Community Service Lectures (KPPM) are a from of practical learning activities in the contecxt of applying interdisciplinary knowledge which studens carry out directly in the community. The activity of making  a fsh pond begins by explaining the purpose of the service, namely s that the community can use the fish pond si that they can earc income from the pond. With the availability of a pond containing tilapia fish in sigapiton cillage, it is hoped that it will be able to encourage local residents, especially Sigapiton residents who do not have permanent jobs, to be involved in raising these tilapi fish so that the community will be more prosperous. By making this pond, income will increase.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and graphic design platforms such as Canva have become important elements in promotional strategies for e-commerce businesses in today's digital age. This community service aims to enable SMK Bina Harapan Ciseeng Bogor students to use AI and Canva technology to increase promotion in the e-commerce sector. The method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observations as data collection methods. The results show that there is still a need for an understanding of AI and the use of graphic design platforms. This community service integrates AI and Canva into the learning process for students specializing in retail business at SMK Bina Harapan Ciseeng Bogor for promotional purposes. With individual expertise and collective creativity, more effective and innovative promotional materials can be produced. Through this community service, it can help students prepare for the challenges of an increasingly digitally connected world of work. In addition, by addressing ethical and privacy concerns, schools can ensure that this technology is responsible and sustainable. Community service can provide significant benefits to participating students using AI and Canva for e-commerce promotion. Through this community service, students can produce promotions through videos. The conclusion from this community service is that SMK Bina Harapan Ciseeng Bogor still needs to increase training in the use of the currently developing AI technology and understanding of ethics and privacy policies so that students can develop a full understanding of the ethical implications of using this technology.

Abstract

In accordance with developments in the current era of disruption 4.0, namely teachers in the future This must be able to present learning modules that are easy to apply, in this era As technology advances, the modules used in Learning does not always use conventional modules. Just a teacher The future must be able to present learning material in the form of modules which can be accessed online by students. Future teachers must be capable presents learning that combines hands on and mind on, problem based learning and project based learning. Google Classroom for Education is one features of Google products that can be used as alternative media online learning at school, with the various features it has. This PkM aims to determine the success of Google Classroom as online learning media at SMK Negeri 7 Serang City. Next destination is to measure the ease and obstacles of learning to use Google Classroom as an alternative online learning model for the eyes certain lessons at SMK Negeri 7 Serang City. subject of This service is for teachers and students of SMK Negeri 7 Serang City with using two methods, namely qualitative with results data collection techniques observation of recording case studies of the application of Google Classroom and quantitative with data collection techniques, literature studies, observation, media creation and questionnaire. It is hoped that the results of this service activity will produce teachers who are able to design learning by utilizing Google Classroom for Education as a blended learning media and students who can access the reach of independent learning anywhere, both online and offline.

Abstract

One of the main causes that can cause environmental cleanliness problems is the lack of public concern for the environment. People should be aware and care about the environment around them because environmental conditions also affect people's lives themselves. The aim of this community service activity is to form an attitude of community awareness and community concern for the beauty and cleanliness of the environment by first socializing with the community to carry out mutual cooperation activities. The method used in this activity is a method of socializing the importance of cleanliness and beauty of the surrounding environment and inviting the public to take part in mutual cooperation activities that we are currently carrying out. Implementation of activities consists of several stages, namely: preparation, implementation and evaluation. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that this activity can be said to be a success and the community around Parsaoran Village, Ajibata District, Toba Regency, is very enthusiastic about participating in collaborative activities, which is hoped that the community will care more about the cleanliness and beauty of tourisim.

Abstract

Islamic religious education has an essential role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation, especially in the context of Indonesian society, which is predominantly Muslim. One important element of religious education is the teaching of the Koran, which is carried out at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ). However, the quality of teaching at TPQ often faces significant challenges, including low reading and writing skills of the Qur'an among students. TPQ in rural areas sometimes still experience difficulties in implementing the method (Rahmawati, 2018). This problem can be caused by several factors, including lack of resources, and limited study time. A more interactive and personal teaching approach will be able to improve Al-Qur'an reading skills (Zulkarnain, 2017). The program "TPQ Assistance by Optimizing Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing to Create a Quranic Generation" aims to achieve several main results. First, this program aims to improve the reading and writing ability of the Al-Qur'an of children at TPQ in the villages of Tambak Lekok, Tampung, and Jati Rejo. In this activity, the ABCD (Asset Based Communities Development) strategy or method is used, where this method is a community development approach that focuses on the strengths and assets that already exist in the community.

Abstract

The need to share documents securely becomes crucial, especially on platforms like Microsoft Excel that are widely used for managing sensitive data. The lack of a secure sharing system can lead to the risk of data breaches, such as unauthorized access and document manipulation. This training focuses on strategies for setting access rights and protection in Microsoft Excel to ensure the security of shared data. The main problems found were low pengguna awareness of Excel's security features, weak protection configurations, and threats from external parties due to a lack of access control. The proposed solution optimizes built-in protection features like document encryption and pengguna-based permission settings. This training aims to improve the security of Excel documents through effective management of access rights and a better understanding of available security features. The participants' results showed that using protection features such as passwords and encryption can reduce the risk of unauthorized access. Then implementing pengguna-based permissions increases control over sensitive data and prevents modification by unauthorized parties. In conclusion, a secure Excel document-sharing strategy requires a holistic approach, combining built-in protection features and pengguna education. This training activity for vocational school students provides practical knowledge and guidance for Excel penggunas in maintaining data security.

Abstract

Platform yang ada pada internet memberikan kemudahan akses ke berbagai konten dan informasi yang bersifat bebas sehingga ini dapat mengkhawatirkan akan terjadinya penyebaran berita palsu. Siswa Pelajar merupakan suatu kelompok yang sangat aktif dalam menggunakan platform media sosial yang nantinya penyebaran berita palsu ini dapat mempengaruhi pemikiran sikap dan perilaku, serta cara mereka memahami dunia sekitar. Dengan pemahaman detektif digital ini dapat memberikan pelatihan dan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang bagaimana cara mengidentifikasi, menganalisis dan mengverifikasi informasi yang mereka temui diinternet sehingga siswa dapat memiliki keterampilan yang lebih kritis untuk menilai suber informasi yang didapatkan pada internet.

Abstract

Manajemen tugas yang efektif adalah kompetensi mendasar bagi siswa yang unggul dalam lingkungan akademis. Artikel ini membahas pemanfaatan Microsoft Office untuk penyelesaian tugas, dengan fokus khusus pada aplikasi seperti Microsoft Word, dan Excel. Siswa dapat menerima bantuan dalam pembuatan catatan dan pengelolaan data. Dengan menggunakan fitur-fitur unggulan dari Microsoft Office, siswa dapat meningkatkan produktivitas mereka, meminimalkan kesalahan, dan menyelesaikan tugas dengan cara yang lebih bijaksana. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan panduan pragmatis, sehingga memfasilitasi pengembangan kemahiran dan kepercayaan diri dalam pengelolaan tugas-tugas akademis yang beragam.

In the digital era, mastering information technology is essential for students, particularly in utilizing word processing software like Microsoft Word. This community service proposal aims to enhance the writing skills of SMP Al-Amanah students by providing training on important features of Microsoft Word. The training will cover text formatting, table creation, and the use of visual elements to produce organized and professional documents. By addressing the current limitations in students' skills, this program seeks to prepare them for academic and professional challenges ahead. The workshop will involve interactive sessions and practical exercises, ensuring that students can apply their knowledge effectively. The expected outcome is an improvement in the quality of students' assignments and reports, fostering creativity and professionalism in their writing.
