Abstract

The advancement of technology has transformed human activities, especially in the fields of technology and communication. However, this convenience has been misused by some individuals to commit crimes, such as cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a new form of bullying that involves the use of electronic media. It is defined as negative activities intentionally and repeatedly carried out to harm others through various electronic platforms, such as social networks, chat rooms, emails, and mobile phones, often involving threatening or offensive messages. This issue is frequently experienced by teenagers who are active internet users, including those in junior high school. Based on this problem, this PKM program aims to educate students of SMP Negeri 19 Depok on preventing cyberbullying behavior and the importance of maintaining a positive digital footprint. This program is designed to raise students' awareness of the impacts of cyberbullying, both on victims and perpetrators, and to provide effective strategies to avoid involvement in such activities. Furthermore, the program focuses on managing digital footprints to help students understand the long-term consequences of their online actions. Through interactive approaches such as seminars, group discussions, and case simulations, students are expected to become more responsible in using technology and communicating online. Thus, this program not only helps prevent cyberbullying but also fosters a healthier digital culture within the school environment.

Abstract

In an increasingly digital era, understanding cyber security and personal data protection is very important, especially for students who are active users of technology. This research aims to provide education to students regarding the basic concepts of cyber security, threats they may face, and steps they can take to protect their personal data. The methods used in this research include counseling and distribution of interactive educational materials. The result of this activity is of course an increase in students' understanding of the importance of protecting personal information and data, as well as awareness of the risks associated with internet use. It is hoped that with the right education, students can become wiser and more responsible internet users, and be able to protect themselves from increasingly complex cyber threats

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dan Artificial Intelligence (AI) kepada siswa SMK Kemala Bhayangkari Delog. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk workshop interaktif yang mencakup pemaparan materi, diskusi, dan kuis. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang IoT dan AI, menumbuhkan minat belajar, serta memberi wawasan aplikasi praktis teknologi ini dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun sektor industri. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan berkelanjutan, peningkatan fasilitas pembelajaran, dan kolaborasi dengan dunia industri untuk mendukung kesiapan siswa menghadapi Revolusi Industri 4.0.

Abstract

This article presents the results of a community service program conducted at SMP PGRI 363 PondokPetir, focusing on equipping students with basic website creation skills using Visual Studio Code (VSC) and HTML. The workshop aimed to enhance students' technological literacy and inspire interest in pursuing advanced technological skills. The methods included direct practice and interactive discussions to ensure a comprehensive understanding. Feedback from participants indicated high satisfaction and improved competence in using VSC and HTML. The study highlights the importance of such workshops in bridging technological gaps in under-resourced schools.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has become an essential need to support efficiency in administration and learning processes. One of the solutions that can enhance efficiency in data management is the use of digital tools such as Google Forms. However, many educators and administrative staff have not fully understood how to use this tool. This study aims to improve the understanding and skills of the staff at MTsN 1 Tangerang Selatan in using Google Forms for data collection. The activity was conducted through a socialization session consisting of theory and hands-on practice. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and satisfaction surveys. The results showed that 87% of participants were able to independently create Google Forms after the training, with a satisfaction rate of 90%. However, some participants still faced difficulties with advanced settings, such as data analysis and notification settings. Based on these findings, it is recommended that further training be provided to deepen participants' understanding of Google Forms' advanced features. The use of Google Forms can improve the efficiency of data management in schools, but participants' readiness to adopt new technology still affects the effectiveness of the training.

Abstract

This report aims to provide an introduction to basic web development using HTML and CSS to PGRI 371 Pondok Aren Junior High School students. In today's digital era, an understanding of website creation is a very important skill. The method used in this research is a practical approach through training and workshops, where students are introduced to the basic concepts of HTML and CSS, as well as their application in creating simple web pages. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' understanding of web structure and design, as well as their ability to apply the knowledge gained to create simple web projects. Hopefully, this introduction can be the first step for students to further explore the world of web development and information technology. This research also provides recommendations for the development of a more integrated curriculum on digital technology in secondary schools.

Abstract

The seminar "Smart Teens in the Digital Era: The Importance of Understanding Internet Security and Privacy Protection" aims to enhance the understanding of digital security among special needs students at PKBM House of Knowledge. This seminar provides knowledge about steps to protect personal data, recognize cyber threats, and apply best practices for online privacy. Using interactive methods, the activities include material delivery sessions, discussions, quizzes, evaluations, and distribution of practical guides. Evaluation results indicate that the seminar successfully increased participants' understanding of digital security, achieving an average score of 91% on a scale of 1-5. This activity is expected to serve as a reference for similar efforts in the future to create a digitally secure and inclusive educational ecosystem.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the 21st century highlights the increasing importance of programming as a foundational skill in Information Technology (IT). Despite its significance, many students, especially at the high school level, lack awareness and interest in programming. This study focuses on introducing programming to students at SMA Muhammadiyah 25 Pamulang as a means of fostering their interest in technology and IT. By conducting workshops, interactive sessions, and practical projects, this initiative aims to make programming more accessible and enjoyable for students. The activities emphasize the relevance of programming in solving real-world problems and its role in future career opportunities. The results demonstrate a notable increase in students’ enthusiasm and understanding of programming concepts, as well as a heightened awareness of IT fields. This effort underscores the potential of early exposure to programming in nurturing a technologically literate generation ready to thrive in the digital age.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) program aims to enhance the technological literacy of children at the Muhammadiyah Nurul Badri Orphanage in West Bekasi through Windows operating system installation education. The training aims to provide basic skills in information technology, specifically regarding computer operation and software installation. The methods used in this activity include theoretical explanations of hardware and software, as well as practical steps for Windows installation. Additionally, the activity includes interactive discussion sessions to deepen participants' understanding of the material presented. The results of this activity show an increase in participants' enthusiasm and confidence in learning technology, although no quantitative data was obtained. Several participants commented that this activity increased their motivation to learn more about computer technology. This activity is expected to contribute to improving digital literacy for children in the orphanage, as well as motivating them to develop technological skills that will be beneficial in the future. Thus, this PKM not only provides practical skills but also opens up opportunities for participants' personal development in the digital world.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa SMPN 1 Kota Tangerang Selatan guna mempersiapkan generasi yang cerdas, etis, dan berdaya saing di era teknologi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 6 November 2024 menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan pembelajaran interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pre-test untuk mengukur pemahaman awal, penyampaian materi literasi digital, sesi tanya jawab, dan post-test untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan pemahaman siswa. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari rata-rata pemahaman siswa, dari 40% pada pre-test menjadi 85% pada post-test. Siswa yang aktif berpartisipasi juga diberi penghargaan sebagai bentuk apresiasi. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan terstruktur dapat meningkatkan literasi digital siswa secara efektif. Program ini diharapkan dapat diadopsi oleh sekolah lain untuk mendukung pendidikan di era digital.
