Abstract

The increasing prevalence of competitions and events necessitates efficient management systems to overcome challenges such as limited information dissemination and inefficient data handling. This study developed Eventify, an integrated web-based platform comprising a Main App for participants and organizers and an Admin Dashboard for monitoring and management. The system aims to simplify event administration, enhance transparency, and improve user experience. Built with the Laravel framework, Eventify utilizes a direct multi-database connection approach, streamlining data communication between the two applications. The development followed the SDLC waterfall model, encompassing analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Key findings indicate that Eventify effectively supports event creation, registration, participant data management, and administrative oversight. This integrated solution significantly improves operational efficiency and data transparency for event management.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a crucial need for businesses, including the automotive Service sector. However, Clean N Tidya vehicle coating Service enterprisestill relies on a manual administrative system, which causes various issues in Service effectiveness. This study aims to evaluate the administrative system used in Clean N Tidy’s coating Services using the PIECES framework, which includes six aspects: Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, and Service. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied, with data collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and questionnaires distributed to staff and customers. The analysis revealed that the current manual system is rated very poor across all PIECES indicators. Low Performance was evident in delayed data recording, inaccurate Information, and inefficient time and cost management. The manual system also lacks sufficient Control mechanisms, leading to administrative errors and limitations in Performance monitoring. These weaknesses negatively impact Service quality and hinder managerial decision-making. Based on these findings, the study recommends developing an integrated digital administration system to support more accurate, real-time, and efficient data management. Such a system is expected to enhance Service quality and improve the business's competitiveness.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the e-commerce industry, including the improvement of data-driven services such as product recommendation systems. Marketplace Buket, which provides various types of bouquets online, faces the challenge of understanding consumer preferences to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. To address this challenge, this study implements the Collaborative Filtering (CF) method as an approach in building a recommendation system capable of analyzing user behavior patterns based on consumer rating data for products. The CF method allows the system to identify user preferences by comparing similarities between consumer behaviors. By utilizing rating data, the system can recommend products that are relevant and in line with the user's interests, even if the user has never viewed or purchased the product before. This study tests the effectiveness of the recommendation system using real-world data and observing the results of recommendations given to specific users. The results show that the system can provide product recommendations with a high level of relevance, such as products I24 and I26 which are at the top of the recommendation list. In addition to providing relevant results, the system is designed with a simple interface for easy use by general users. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of CF not only improves the quality of the user experience but also contributes to service efficiency and potential sales increases, including in intercity areas. Overall, this research provides an important contribution to the development of data-driven marketing strategies and lays the foundation for the future development of more complex recommendation systems.

Abstract

The development of the digital economy has created a new ecosystem for independent creators to obtain more independent and sustainable sources of income. Amid the increasing need for direct support from fans, the RaiseMeUp platform was developed as a Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) donation solution that enables seamless interaction between creators and their supporters. This research aims to design and build a digital donation platform that is user-friendly, secure, and able to increase creator engagement and independence in managing profiles, content, and income transparently. The system development method used in this research is the Waterfall method, which consists of five main stages: system requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. In system development, Laravel technology is used as a backend framework, MySQL as a database management system, and Tailwind CSS to design an intuitive and responsive user interface. Key features implemented include OTP verification for security, a user role system (admin, creator, and supporter), and integration with the Midtrans payment gateway for fast and secure donation transactions. Test results show that the RaiseMeUp platform functions optimally in supporting creators in receiving direct donations, managing interactions, and providing control over their content and profiles. Evaluations were also conducted to assess functionality and user satisfaction, which showed positive results and validated the system's design and implementation. This research provides a significant contribution to the development of donation-based digital platforms in Indonesia and opens up opportunities for further development, such as analytics features, real-time notifications, and content personalization to increase user engagement in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based online private tutoring platform that can support easy access and improve the efficiency of the teaching and learning process. With the rapid advancement of information technology, interest in more flexible learning methods has increased sharply. This application was created to help students find and register for private tutoring according to their preferences, while also opening opportunities for tutors to expand their service reach. The approach used in this research includes identifying user needs, designing the application, and conducting a system trial. The user needs identification process was conducted through surveys and interviews with students and tutors to understand their preferences and the obstacles faced in undergoing the conventional learning process. Based on the analysis, this platform was designed with features that make it easier for students to choose tutors based on subjects, schedules, locations, and teaching ratings given by previous students. In addition, this platform provides an integrated payment system to facilitate transactions between students and tutors. The system trial phase involved a number of users who tested the application directly to provide feedback on the features provided and to ensure smooth use of the application on a small scale. The results of the study indicate that this system is able to strengthen the relationship between students and tutors, and facilitate the management of study schedules and payment systems. Thus, this application is expected to be an effective alternative solution in the world of education, particularly in providing high-quality and accessible private tutoring services. This platform is expected to make the teaching and learning process more flexible and efficient, allowing students to learn anytime and anywhere according to their needs.

Abstract

Lestari Adventure offers a modern solution for outdoor equipment rental and porter services in Indonesia, combining efficiency and convenience in a single web-based platform. Previously, many outdoor enthusiasts faced difficulties in booking equipment and porters separately, which often led to delays, price overruns, and a lack of transparency. With this platform, users can easily book goods and services in an integrated system, streamlining communication between renters, porters, and administrators. The system is designed with a user-friendly dashboard that allows renters to select the equipment they need, check availability, and communicate directly with available porters. Integrated inventory management features allow administrators to monitor stock in real time and avoid overbooking or understocking. Furthermore, Lestari Adventure is equipped with a secure online payment system, providing convenience for renters and administrators. PIECES analysis of this system shows significant improvements in several aspects. System performance has seen faster transaction processing times, better control over inventory and reservations, and increased user satisfaction thanks to easy access and price transparency. Lestari Adventure is expected to expand its service reach to more regions in Indonesia, address logistical challenges, and support the development of ecotourism and outdoor activities that are increasingly accessible to the public. With its comprehensive features and easy access, Lestari Adventure has the potential to transform the way outdoor enthusiasts plan and execute their activities. Furthermore, the platform also provides opportunities for local porters to increase their income through a more structured and transparent booking system.

Abstract

This research is focused on assessing the public opinion of netizens on Twitter regarding the Constitutional Court's decision on the results of the 2024 Presidential Election by utilizing the Naïve Bayes classification algorithm. Twitter is the main social media platform that many people use to voice their opinions, including on political issues. Through the Naïve Bayes classification method, public opinion is divided into two main sentiments: positive and negative. This research began with the collection of comment data through the scraping process, then continued with the pre-processing stages of data which included case folding, tokenizing, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming. The processed data is then manually labeled to form training data. The Naïve Bayes model was trained using the training data, then tested using test data to evaluate the performance of the classification model. The results of the evaluation showed that the model had an accuracy rate of 90%, with precision and recall values in the positive class of 83% each. These findings show that the Naïve Bayes algorithm can effectively classify netizens' sentiments against the Constitutional Court's ruling. In addition, the classification results also show that netizens' opinions tend to be divided, with a slightly higher proportion of negative sentiments compared to positive sentiments. This study also enriches the methods used in digital sentiment analysis, especially in understanding public responses to political issues that develop on social media. The results of this study are expected to be a reference in data-based decision-making on public opinion, especially in the realm of public policy, political communication, and digital information management. Going forward, similar research could be further developed with different algorithms or with a wider scope of data to get a more comprehensive picture.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are Islamic educational institutions that emphasize discipline in the daily lives of their students. However, the manual recording and evaluation of violations makes it difficult for administrators to conduct systematic analysis. This study aims to apply data mining methods, specifically the Decision Tree algorithm, to analyze student violation data for effective classification. Violation data is grouped into three categories: minor, moderate, and severe violations. A classification model is built through entropy and information gain calculations to determine the best attributes to serve as the initial nodes in the decision tree structure. The attributes used in the model include violation points, violation types, and dormitories. The results show that the Decision Tree algorithm is able to identify violation categories with excellent performance. In the minor category, the model achieved a precision of 0.99, a recall of 1.00, and an f1-score of 1.00. For the moderate category, the model achieved a precision of 0.94, a recall of 1.00, and an f1-score of 0.97, indicating that the model is able to recognize violations with a high level of accuracy and consistency. Meanwhile, in the severe category, the model demonstrated perfect precision of 1.00, recall of 0.87, and f1-score of 0.93. Overall, the model achieved 98% accuracy based on the confusion matrix evaluation, indicating that most of the data was correctly classified. The decision tree visualization also showed that the violation point, type of violation, and dormitory location were the main factors in the classification process. These results demonstrate that a data mining approach can be used to support data-driven decision-making in student guidance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of website design and functionality on user satisfaction of Streetwear X Indonesia, using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) model. The background of this research is based on the importance of interface quality and user experience in enhancing satisfaction and the continued use of e-commerce websites, especially in the competitive streetwear industry. The independent variables analyzed include website design, which encompasses aesthetics, navigation, and visual consistency, as well as website functionality, which includes access speed, transaction ease, and interactivity. User satisfaction is the dependent variable, serving as the key indicator of the website's acceptance and user loyalty. This research employs a quantitative approach, with Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) used to test the relationships between the variables and measure the impact of each factor on user satisfaction. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to active users of the X Indonesia website, representing various user demographics. The analysis results show that both website design and functionality have a significant positive impact on user satisfaction, emphasizing the importance of both visual appeal and operational efficiency in shaping user experience. The findings offer practical implications for website managers, suggesting that focusing on developing an attractive interface, intuitive navigation, and responsive functionality can improve user experience. Therefore, optimizing design and functionality elements strategically can increase user loyalty, enhance their interaction experience, and promote the long-term sustainability of the X Indonesia website.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged organizations to adopt a data-driven decision-making (DDDM) approach as a primary strategy for maintaining competitiveness amidst a complex and dynamic business landscape. This approach enables more accurate, faster, and fact-based decision-making, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of business strategies. This article aims to formulate a conceptual framework that facilitates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the digital business strategy formulation process. This research uses a qualitative approach through a thematic content analysis of reputable scientific literature published between 2019 and 2024. The results of the study indicate that AI plays a strategic role in improving operational efficiency, driving innovation, and strengthening organizational responsiveness to rapid changes in the external environment. AI functions not only as a data analysis tool but also as a driver of business model transformation through predictive capabilities, process automation, and service personalization. However, the successful integration of AI into DDDM is inseparable from several important prerequisites. Key determining factors include adequate digital infrastructure readiness, visionary leadership capable of guiding strategic change, and competent human resources who understand both the technical aspects and strategic implications of AI. On the other hand, challenges faced include organizational cultural resistance to the adoption of new technologies, low data quality and completeness, and a digital skills gap among employees. The conceptual framework proposed in this article maps the linkages between organizational capabilities, AI-enhanced DDDM mechanisms, and the achievement of strategic objectives. This framework is designed to assist organizations in systematically planning, implementing, and evaluating AI integration initiatives. Furthermore, this article provides practical recommendations for business stakeholders in Indonesia, including the importance of investing in digital infrastructure, developing human resource competencies, and establishing an organizational culture that is adaptive to technological innovation.
