The result of this research showed that there was a significant correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension with an r value 0.675. In addition, it showed that the level correlation was sufficient because it was in the interval of 0.60-0.799. Abstract

Morocco's environmental issues are worsening; making it critical to gauge the environmental knowledge, attitudes, and actions of the demographic deemed to carry on their treatment as a means to enhance the conduct of future generations towards the environment. Despite the rising corpus of research in this area, very limited studies addressed students’ environmental awareness, and some overlooked accounting for university students. This study intended to examine students' environmental awareness and how it influences their pro-environmental behavior. The study included 100 students from the School of Arts and Humanities, Meknes. Questionnaires were distributed online to collect data, which subsequently was analyzed using descriptive statistics. According to the study's findings, students' environmental awareness is positive and encouraging. The findings also revealed that a significant proportion of students were uninformed about environmental facts and did not engage in any environmental practices at all; indicating the need for a practical strategy to re-examine and reorient the approach of EE in the Moroccan context in order to ensure that it not only raises learners' environmental awareness but also fosters a sense of responsibility, which is critical in ensuring environmental sustainability.

Abstract

The key element influencing learning activity is motivation. Learning objectives are difficult to attain without having high motivation to learn. Students that are motivated will be more engaged in their learning, which will push them to understand and use English properly. This research uses a descriptive method to examine students' learning motivation in learning English. This research is a survey by distributing questionnaires, and then the questionnaire results will be analyzed quantitatively and descriptively qualitatively. This research found that students already have good attitudes and interest in learning English, but there is still a need for development to achieve optimal English learning outcomes. Students still often feel afraid to communicate in English because they fear making mistakes in pronunciation, grammar, and using the correct language. This research implies that university lecturers should continually motivate their students to communicate in English and facilitate students with a positive and conducive learning environment.

Abstract

Writing is one of the four language skills that EFL students must learn. Because writing is utilized in everyday communication, it plays a significant part in communication. The current study was mostly based on early observations of 25 subjects in Semester 1B of the English Language Education Study Program's IEC class, which revealed that the majority of the subjects’ writing skills remained low. Furthermore, the current study sought to determine whether or whether the writing skills of first-semester students in the English Language Education Study Program's 1B class might be improved by the usage of Storyjumper. To attain the goal, the researcher conducted classroom action research in two cycles. Furthermore, the following study instruments were used to collect the necessary data: pre-test, post-test 1, post-test 2, and post-test 3. The data was then examined by comparing the pre-test and post-test results, which revealed significant improvements in the subjects' mean scores from pre-test to post-test. Based on the findings of the research instruments, it is possible to infer that the use of a Storyjumper can improve the writing skills of students in 1B of IEC Class of the English Language Education Study Program.
