Abstract

Independent Learning Activities Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) in the form of humanitarian projects is a form of learning that trains students to develop social awareness and sensitivity through programmed and institutional activities. The aim of community service activities carried out by KKNT_MBKM STIE BIMA students in the South Rabangodu sub-district is to empower by increasing local community knowledge through socialization on the prevention of dengue fever (DBD). This empowerment is carried out through outreach activities and distributing abate powder to prevent the reproduction of mosquito larvae. This community service activity was carried out well, smoothly and received a positive response from the activity participants. This program was implemented well and participants understood the information on dengue prevention.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to improve human resource development education and work quality in Rabithah mosque youth. The specific target in this community service is for Rabithah mosque teenagers to know what Human Resources development and work quality are. The materials presented in this community service are: what is human resources and work quality. The connection will affect the increase in understanding of the development of human resources so that Rabithah mosque teenagers get solutions to human resource development and work quality. From this community service, it shows the results that Rabithah mosque teenagers already know and understand the importance of insight into Human Resources development and work quality so that they can improve work performance.

Abstract

The research background is based on the importance of creating an interesting and enjoyable learning environment to increase student involvement in the learning process. The aim of the research is to systematically investigate the effectiveness of the ice breaking technique in increasing Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students' learning motivation towards learning. The method used in this research is literature study, which involves the steps of identification, evaluation and synthesis of findings from various related studies. The research results show that the application of ice breaking consistently contributes positively to student learning motivation. Findings from various literature sources show that ice breaking can create a relaxed, interactive and fun learning atmosphere, which in turn increases students' interest in learning Indonesian. Apart from that, ice breaking also helps strengthen the relationship between students and lesson material, as well as increasing participation and student involvement in the learning process. The implication of these findings is the importance of considering the use of ice breaking techniques in designing and implementing learning. Teachers and educational policy makers can use the results of this research as a basis for developing more innovative and effective learning strategies in increasing student learning motivation and strengthening the quality of education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.

Abstract

This mentoring activity aims to see the effectiveness of conflict management mentoring in improving teacher performance in educational environments. The problem identified is the existence of interpersonal conflict among teachers that has a negative impact on the work atmosphere and academic performance. The main objective of this study is to identify effective mentoring strategies in resolving conflicts and to evaluate their impact on improving teacher performance. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to understand the dynamics of conflict and the effectiveness of the intervention. The results of the study indicate that the conflict management mentoring implemented can reduce interpersonal tensions, improve communication and cooperation among teachers, and significantly improve teacher performance and job satisfaction. These findings support the importance of implementing structured and evidence-based conflict management strategies in improving educational outcomes and a more harmonious work environment.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to explore the Lecture Vary method used by madrasah teachers to improve elementary school student learning outcomes. In this effort, community service activities were carried out at MIN 5 Langkat using a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The research subjects were teachers and students at several MIN 5 Langkat elementary schools. Teachers were given training and assistance in using the Lecture Vary method for one semester. The research results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after teachers implemented the Lecture Vary method. The average student test score increased from 70 to 96,8 after one semester of using this method. These findings are consistent with previous research which states that interactive and varied teaching methods can improve student learning outcomes. This study concludes that the use of the Lecture Vary method for teachers has proven effective in improving the learning outcomes of MIN 5 Langkat students. It is hoped that this method can be adopted more widely by teachers to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Creative household waste management can provide environmental and economic benefits for the community. Used cooking oil, which is often considered waste, has the potential to be processed into high-value products such as aromatic candles. These candles are not only useful as an alternative lighting source but also function as fly repellent and aromatherapy that increases the comfort of the home environment. This community service program aims to improve skills and empower PKK mothers in Togafo Village, West Ternate City District, by helping them make aromatic candles from used cooking oil and clove flower stalks. The methods used include initial socialization regarding the benefits and techniques of making aromatic candles, practical training with direct demonstrations, and post-training assistance through routine monitoring and technical assistance. The results of the program show an increase in participants' skills in producing aromatic candles independently, reducing used cooking oil waste, and the potential for developing micro-businesses. This activity has succeeded in empowering the community to manage waste creatively, providing solutions to fly problems, and opening up new economic opportunities, thus becoming a service model that can be replicated in other areas.

Abstract

This community service was motivated by the need for cake and bakpia producers to improve efficiency and consistency in the dough mixing process previously done manually. This service aims to introduce and train the use of dough-mixing machines that can speed up the production process and improve product quality. The community service methods used include problem identification, machine design and manufacture, socialization, and training in the use and maintenance of the machine to 12 participants, consisting of 2 business owners and 10 employees. This activity also includes a live demonstration to ensure participants understand how to operate the machine. The results of the community service show that the dough mixing time has decreased from 30-45 minutes to 10-15 minutes, with an increase in participants' understanding of machine operation and maintenance reaching 100%. Participants' enthusiasm and confidence in using the machine also increased, showing great potential to increase their productivity and business competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

Digital marketing training is an essential need in education, especially in vocational schools. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance the digital marketing skills of students at SMK Negeri 1 Cikokol Tangerang, preparing them for the workforce and entrepreneurship in the digital era.The training combines theoretical and practical approaches, covering digital marketing strategies, creative content creation, and social media management. The results show a significant improvement in students' understanding of digital marketing, creativity in content creation, and the ability to utilize platforms such as Instagram and TikTok for business.This program not only enhances students' competencies but also contributes to the integration of digital marketing into the school curriculum. Furthermore, it fosters industry collaboration and supports students in starting their own businesses.

Abstract

Professional values in learning activities and work practices. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of basic business administration concept training as a strategy for building students' professional character at SMK Negeri 1 Tangerang City. The training approach was chosen because of its applicability, contextuality, and ability to instill values such as discipline, responsibility, work ethic, as well as communication and cooperation skills. Through a training design that involves simulations of the world of work, case studies, and real administrative practices, students not only gain conceptual understanding, but also internalize positive work attitudes and behaviors. The results of this study show that practice-based training is effective in increasing students' job readiness, strengthening soft skills, and forming a professional culture in the school environment. These findings recommend the integration of training programs into the curriculum as a strategic effort to produce vocational school graduates who are more adaptive, competitive, and in accordance with the needs of the industrial world. This research contributes to the development of vocational education that emphasizes the synergy between competence and character.

Abstract

Health Promotion on HIV/AIDS is very important for adolescents to improve their understanding of transmission, prevention, treatment, and its social impacts. The Community Service Program (PKM) by the Indramayu State Polytechnic was implemented at SMK MITRA MARITIM INDRAMAYU, Indramayu Regency, with the aim of improving students' understanding of HIV/AIDS. The activity methods include material presentation, interactive discussions. A total of 45 students participated in this program. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of education. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of HIV/AIDS, including the differences between HIV and AIDS, symptoms, and the importance of antiretroviral therapy (ARV). In addition, students became more aware of the social stigma against People with HIV/AIDS and how to provide support to friends who are infected. This program not only strengthens awareness of HIV/AIDS, but also empowers students to become agents of change. It is hoped that this program can be sustainable in order to form a younger generation that is more health conscious.
